Chapter 2
Return and Revelations
A tall figure was seen walking toward the gates to Konoha. He was dressed in black pants with a gold lined belt. He had no shirt on and his hair was slicked back. On his back was a fur coat with a fur lined collar. His hands were in his pockets and in his mouth, a senbon, on his eyes were a pair of maroon framed glasses. His blonde hair was slicked back with a single strand falling (Think Aizen Souske from Bleach.). On his side, dragging on the ground was a huge sword, larger than himself by a small amount but still wieldable. It was held to his side by a strong golden chain connected to his belt. [(Sword from Samurai Genji-A Servant of the King)]. He walked with an air of superiority greater than those flanking him. He seemed to be their leader.
"Old man, I want to leave."
"W…what…Why I thought you wanted to be Hokage? You are only five Naruto."
"I do but as I am now I will not be able to do that. You must let me leave. My entourage and I are already packed to go; all we need now is your permission."
"Fine, as Hokage of the Village Hidden in the Leaves, I give you, Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze full Sannin travel rights. I hope you find what you're looking for Naruto-kun."
Behind him were eight people. Six of them had similar cloaks and hats to seemingly hide their identities. The other two were wearing male kimonos (Ranmaru from a foreign love affair). They all walked with an air of dangerous grace, only capable by people of great skill.
"Good afternoon, Naruto-san. My name is Madara Uchiha. I am here to speak to you."
Naruto looked up from his position to look at the man who claimed to be one of the founders of Konoha. He was seated on the ground under a tree in a clearing. Kouhei was in his youkai form acting as his pillow behind him. Kurama was also in his youkai form sprawled on Naruto's lap. Overall, Naruto looked like a pretty powerful person.
"Madara Uchiha, one of the founding fathers of Konohagakure. Cheated out of the second Hokage position, banished from the Uchiha clan and was once a pure soul but the higher powers of Konoha destroyed your dreams and ambitions. Am I right?"
Madara surprised this young 11 years old boy knew what most did not know save for him and his heir Obito Uchiha. He could only nod as the boy recited those unknown facts.
"I am here to ask you to help me. As the holder of the nine-tails and now an eight tails I wish for you to lend me your power."
"Why?" Naruto asked smirking as though he knows what Madara was planning. "Why would I give you my power or allow you access to my friends powers?"
Madara activated his Sharingan with the intention of subduing Naruto and controlling him but was promptly shocked when he felt a slight pain in his abdomen looking down he saw a glowing hand going through his stomach. He fell and began to scream his last and final words before Naruto behead him, his body burning to ashes.
"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME!? IT BURNS! FORGET SUBTLTY ATTACK HIM AND KILL HIM AKATSUKI! AAARRRGGGHHH!"
One of the people approached their leader.
"Naruto-kun, are you sure you want to come back here?"
The now named Naruto slightly angled his face to get a better look at the person speaking to him. "Itachi its fine, now that the threat to jinchuuriki is terminated I can now return and claim what is rightfully mine, but I have a feeling that something is coming." The last part was mumbled in a low voice that no one heard it.
Eleven persons jumped from the forest surrounding Naruto's clearing. Seven of them stood back as two of them ran towards Naruto and his Tailed beasts. One of them was black and white and looked like a giant human plant the other had a spiral mask. Naruto slowly stood and smiled a truly feral and evil smile as they approached.
"How dare you kill our leader, you demon!"
"How nostalgic, I haven't been called that since I was five." Naruto calmly said as he dodged the incoming swipes, punches and kicks from the two loyal Akatsuki members.
"Katon: Gokakyu no Jutsu (Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique)"
"Katon: Karyu Endan (Fire Release: Fire Dragon Flame Bullet)"
"Ohhh, the big guns!"
The fire closed in on him, and then…he vanished. His attackers widened their senses trying to find only to realize he was right behind them.
SLASH
THUNK
Their heads rolled onto the ground long before they realized what he was planning.
They saw the gate in the horizon. They were nearing the village, he needed to brief them on what to do till they reach the Hokage. Naruto stopped and turned to look at his group; so mismatched, so unique, so fitting.
Deidara, the man with a love for explosion, Itachi, a man of actions not words, Konan, Yahiko, and Nagato, the inseparable trio and one of them, Nagato, a member of the Uzumaki clan. Hidan and Kakuzu, the zombie duo, one worshiped the god Jashin, and the other, a money grabbing but loyal bastard, with dislike for any religion. Quite the group Naruto had picked up.
"We will use transformation technique till we are in the old man's office. After that I will explain the situation then living arrangements will be discussed. We will be living in the Namikaze clan compound. It is a fairly large compound so if you wish you will each have the clan members' houses or live in the main house. Alright let's go."
"Dog → Boar → Ram - Henge no Jutsu!"
Turning into normal civilians with cloaks covering them from head to toe, the group made their way to Konoha. Reaching the gates they were stopped by two chunnin guards; Kotetsu and Izumo.
"Halt! What is your business in Konoha?"
"We are here to see the Hokage. The fox has returned to claim what is his."
The guards glanced at each other confused, then towards the guests. They opened the gates and let them in.
-LINE BREAK-
The Hokage, the strongest ninja and leader of one of Konoha; the strongest ninja village out of the five hidden villages, was crying. Why you ask? It was caused by the bane of every Kage existence; Paperwork. The Sandaime Hokage loves his job, but one thing he hated and feared more than anything else was paperwork. How Minato finished it fast enough to be able to goof off with Kushina was beyond him. Oh how he wished for something, anything, to give him a distraction from this hell. The always did say be careful what you wish for. He was startled out of his musing when the door opened to reveal a group of cloaked persons. They walked in and closed the door. There was a burst of chakra then…
"Naruto-kun, how will I know it's you when you return?"
"You will know it is me when you hear these words…"
"The flowers have bloomed, the trees have grown. The King has returned to take his throne."

*Sandaime POV*
When one has lived long and seen much, one learns not to be surprised by most things. But there are moments not expected when you are surprised so much you can see the light at the end of the tunnel, meaning you were this close to having a heart attack. This was one of those moments for Sarutobi Hiruzen, the Sandaime Hokage.
"Naruto-kun is that you!?"
"Right here in the flesh, blood, and chakra old man."
The one named Naruto smiled. 'Naruto you have certainly changed, from that tiny malnutritioned boy to this handsome strong man.'
"You have certainly grown my boy. It's good to have you back. It was starting to get boring without you, you know."
"I missed you too old man." Naruto smiled softly at the man he considered his grandfather. And it was true; he had missed the old man. During his travels he had kept worrying that maybe the old man had fallen over from stress, or had been assassinated. He had finally gotten tired of postponing his return and decided to come back.
"So, tell me everything that happened during your travel." The Sandaime knew that the info he was about to get was important so he put up a privacy seal.
"Where do I begin…? I had begun traveling through the fire country learning everything I could With Kouhei and Kurama. You remember I told you about the Kyuubi before I left so don't look so surprised. For a few years I trained slowly, I did not want to stunt my growth. During those years I met one of the Sannin, Tsunade Senju and her apprentice Shizune. I traveled with them for a while and Tsunade told me she was supposed to be my godmother but because she thought I had died she left. She taught me all about chakra and how to use it. I had mastered my chakra by the time I was nine but I still could not do Genjutsu or Medical Jutsu. We parted ways a few months after I turned nine. She gave me her necklace and I have never taken it off. I kept on traveling learning how to be a ninja among other things. I learned about sealing and was able to tamper with the seal so that I could call out Kurama. The only thing was that his chakra would stay behind while he would only physically manifest outside the seal with only half his original chakra. We found out during this process that I was absorbing his left over chakra turning me into a kitsune youkai. Yeah, I know, I had the same look on my face when I found out."
Naruto went on to tell the Hokage about Madara and the akatsuki and how they joined him after finding out Madara's plans. He told the Hokage that they were now under the Uzumaki Clan protection and that anything the council tries would be seen as an attack on the clan and would be treated as such.
"Why can't you be like other normal kids Naruto?"
Naruto just smiled his foxy smile, "well I wasn't born normal old man! Oh before I forget I want to see two people in your ANBU force. They took care of me as a kid and I want to say thank you." Naruto finished smiling softly.
Hiruzen just smiled and pressed the intercom, "Yuuka-chan can you bring in ANBU Hebi and Inu, please?"
~LINE BREAK~
Two people walk towards the Hokage office.
"So why do you think the Hokage summoned us Kakashi?"
"I don't know Anko. I though he wanted us to take two weeks off. You think maybe he wants us to meet someone?"
"Maybe it is Naruto; I miss that little ball of energy."
As Anko said that she opened the door only to hear someone with a familiar voice say, "speak of the devil and he shall appear, Hebi-Chan."
Both Kakashi and Anko looked towards the voice to see two people she never thought she would see again.
"Itachi, Naruto, what are you…how are you…" running toward both of them she hugged them both. "Captain, I missed you. And look at you Naru-chan, you're so tall and you have so many friends. Don't call me Hebi, my name is Anko and Inu is Kakashi."
Kakashi broke out of his stupor enough to give Naruto a hug and a nod to Itachi. He looked at the Hokage and asked him a question. "Hokage-sama is Naruto and his friends going to be Konoha ninja?"
"Yes, the akatsuki members are going to be tested in three days and for Naruto, tomorrow is the genin exams so he will participate."
"Old man they are not akatsuki anymore," Naruto said intertwining his hands with Itachi and Kurama, "They are now all Uzumaki!"
Deidara glomping Naruto from the back together with Nagato, Hidan, and Kakuzu exclaimed, "THAT'S RIGHT, UN!" While Itachi, Konan and Pein just smiled.
Kakashi, Anko, and the Hokage noticed that Naruto still had his hands on both Kurama and Itachi and had no signs of letting go smiled knowingly, but one of them, Kakashi, felt a pang of…something…bitterness, jealousy maybe, in his chest but ignored it because he was happy his best friend and little brother was back.
"Okay, old man we are going to get some dango and ramen I will see you tomorrow. Come on Kakashi."
They all left for Ichikaru to celebrate the formation of the new Uzumaki family and Naruto's return.
