Alien Vs Predator ; Armageddon
Chapter 2- Relevance and her majesty
I was back in my cell, the collar attached to my neck, restraining my attacks. An alarm went off, the red lights flicking and the voice stating the problem. 'Power failure, please remain calm.' This was bad, with the power dying, the xenomorph have no resistance. I could hear the human warriors load up, I could smell the xenomorph approaching. I crawled up to the glass, just in time to see the parasites latch onto the humans faces. I looked at the walls, hoping to get a glimpse of what was behind it. Suddenly, the top vent crashed onto the floor, it was them, and there were at least nine of them. They hissed, growled and roared at me, but the soundproof glass made sure there threats couldn't reach me. I jumped as the first alien bashed into the glass, I hissed and growled my threats but they wouldn't listen. They kept up their act, effectively cracking the glass. I growled my last warning, and then my spikes came out and rose. Just when I thought I would have to fight these beasts, they turned around and started fighting something else.
I watched with fascination as more killers started fighting the specimens, one xenomorph was thrown into the glass, breaking it more. I crawled up to the glass and started smelling the new creatures, they smelled trustworthy. I heard the queen screech at her children, ordering them to return to her at once and free her from her prison. My spikes came down as the aliens left, leaving me and the new creatures. The big creature walked up to me and clicked at the others. I saw a shimmer and a tail flick, there was one remaining!
"Behind you!" I screeched. I knew they can't hear me but my mind screamed the same thing, warning the creature. He turned around and stabbed the xeno with a spear, which he had tucked away. He turned back to me, "how-."
"I can't answer. You're hunting them, I can tell. You need to get out of here. The queen has called her children to free her and if you don't get out of here, then there will be no one left to blow up this place."
"What do you mean, blow up this place?"
"The queen is stronger than any other; she is a hybrid between human and xeno. I haven't seen her for myself but I know that she will kill whoever or whatever is in her way, please, get out of here while you still can. " My words were begging for this to be done.
"And what about you."
"I can't get out of here anyway. They had the key and now they're dead. If I am to die here, then so be it. Please, just get out of here and destroy what humans made. You won't be able to go the same way you came, you will have to go to level six, the back entrance, just below where they keep the queen. She will still be chained up if you make it fast. Don't take the elevator because that will lead you to the queen, take the stairs." I finished with a bow of my head, in thanks then walked over to the corner of my cell, waiting for the xeno's to come and finish me off. I thought the hunters had left, but I was wrong. The glass broke. I snapped my head to face the hunters, my eyes full of confusion and surprise.
"What are you doing?" I questioned, he started approaching me and with one quick attack, smashed the collar from my neck.
"Freeing you from your containment." He signed, how do they know sign language? I was going to reply but I caught the sight of a tail. With quick instincts, I ran at the beast. It hissed at my quick approach but I jumped on its' ribbed chest, slightly pushing it back from the impact, just what I wanted. My talons dug into its' legs. It thrashed its tail, trying to catch me, but I caught it and stabbed it through its' thick skull. I knew this wouldn't kill him so I finished him off with a head bite from my tongue. I jumped of its' fall corpse and walked over to the hunter.
"Come on. I'll show you how to get out of this prison." I spoke with the mind and signalled for them to follow. I didn't notice at first, but when specimen seven thrashed, some of its' blood had caught my gown. The acid ate away at the fabric, leaving a hole in its' hast.
The sound of pounding footsteps alerted me of the soldiers coming. I lead the hunters to the first set of stairs once they started walking down; I turned around to face my next competitors. They held their weapons at me but I was too fast, I had already taken one down. Another shot me but it hit my armour. I stood up and growled at him until I saw the outline of something. The hunters had come, I thought they were going down the stairs? I slighted nodded my head in thanks then turned to my next victim. I ran at the human as he was about to shoot the hunter. In a flash, I pinned him, my tongue ready to finish him. I felt a sharp pain shoot through my body 'he stabbed me!' I thought in pain, but this wasn't a normal knife in fact, it wasn't a knife, he had shot me with one of those electric things. He had his opportunity and he took it with no second thoughts, he kicked me of him. My body went flying through the air until I crashed into the wall. I tried to get up but the shock bullet prevented my movements. Suddenly, a loud roar filled the corridor followed by a blood curdling scream; I could just see the hunter drive his wrist blades through the humans' chest. His victim fell lifeless. Another hunter approached me he looked down at me then gently, put his clawed hands under my neck while he bought his other hand to lift me up. I swiped at his other approaching hand and hissed a clear warning. I tried with all my strength to get up but when I got on my hind legs, my body collapsed, the bullet had really stunned my movements. He came again and my tail lashed out, my blade centimetres away from his mask. I saw him flinch and back off slowly, I guess they never seen my tail. Going on instincts, I curled my body up; my legs tucking inwards, my hands placed on my wound and my head slowly drawing in. my tail wrapped around my form, making a cocoon of armour. I tried to block out the outside world, this is the only way I felt safe.
"Young one, are you ok?" I heard in my mind.
"Hurt," Was my only reply. I felt a gentle touch on my side and someone lifting me up. I whimpered and struggled.
"Hush, young one, it's me." I had never felt so safe in my life. As nervous I was, my tail slowly uncoiled, exposing my face. I heard one of the hunters growl at me, I turned my head and hissed exposing my fanged teeth and my most lethal weapon, my tongue. His growl grew louder but I easily matched it with a challenging hiss, my tail was positioned in his way ready to strike.
"Leave me alone. I don't want to strike but I'm warning you, I'm not human and my instincts will force me to kill you." I hissed. None of my words came out English. I heard a growl over rule both of us, it was the big hunter. I raised my head to look at him. The other hunter growled at him and I had had just about enough. My body fully uncoiled, my wound now exposed, blood slowly seeping and eating the floor. My hiss at him echoed through the corridors. My tongue slowly crept out of its' hiding place, the jaws snapping at him. I tried to move again but whimpered at the sting from my wound. My hand went back to cover it. Just then, I heard the queen in my mind, she screamed, she was hurting.
"We have got to hurry, queen is hurting, and young want her free!" I made my voice ring in his head. I was getting really worried for them; the xenomorphs won't stop until their queen is free. I jumped out of his arms ignoring the scream my injury wailed and headed for the door which I knew inside contained medical supplies. I know the medical equipment won't do to good but it might be able to seduce the bleeding. I stared at the iron door, judging its' strength. Once my calculations were done I walked back to the hunters, and then charged at the door. My shoulder had effectively bashed into the centre and left a rather big dent in the metal. I repeated this again until there was a gap big enough to fit my hands through, once I had done that, I fed my hands through and used my hybrid strength to push the doors apart. I stared into the pitch black, scanning for the bandages. Once I had located them I stalked over. After taking as much as needed, I stalked back out to the hunters.
"Can you hold these, please?" I asked one of the hunters. The big hunter translated it and then the other hunter took them from my grasp. Now was time for me to show my real appearance, not to mention, my gown deeply smelled of death. I walked back to the door and stood before all of the hunters.
"This is what I really am." I hissed, but knew only one hunter could understand me. I pulled the gown over my head and threw it on the floor. Everything was now visible, my armour my tail, everything, the only thing I would say is not so much visible would be my spikes.
"This is why you shouldn't have freed me." I walked back to the hunter, my pace slow and gently took the bandages from his hand. I wrapped the bandages around my wound, finally. I headed for the stairs and beckoned for the others to follow. The big hunter came first followed by the others; I could feel their dark stares penetrating my soul.
When I got down to the next floor I could feel something, a vibe. I planted my feet to a sudden stop.
"What is it?" the hunter asked. I didn't reply but just followed the vibe. I stopped at a broken door; more like the door tore open. My eyes peered inside. Everything was dead, the lights were dead and some of the soldiers were killed in a brutal way. I heard a hiss in my mind. I bolted out of the room, I knew who that was and had to warn the hunters. I ran to see my horror; the warriors were staring at the queen. I jumped in front of the hunters to face the queen.
Cliff hanger! SG is going to draw the queen, what you think she looks like. Also, I'm rubbish with grammar and I have 18 days until I break up at school, happy I finished this though.
