A/N Hello my beautiful people ... Merry Christmas darlings. :) I hope you are all out there smiling and laughing and having fun buying Christmas presents, and if you not, well.. have fun with whatever it is you're doing. :D Anyway, I hope you enjoy the chapter .. and don't forget to review ... it makes me smile :) hehe ..
It was now eight-thirty and both the boys and the girls have split up.
The boys, - which included, Kol, Elijah, Klaus, Stefan, Damon and Henrik - where at the Mikaelson Mansion, playing either pool, or video games, while talking a load of waffle and getting drunk.
The girls, - which included, Bonnie, Elena, Caroline, Rebekah, Rose and Katherine - where at the Gilbert house, having an old-fashioned, all girl sleepover. Painting nails, doing each others hairs, sharing stories - mostly scary ones as Elena's and Bonnie's reactions to the slightest sound whenever it goes quiet, is really amusing to the rest of the girls - making cocktails and dancing and singing like mad women to really loud music.
Both parties had agreed that there would be no talk about relationships and that tonight was just about having fun. But of course, with the help of alcohol, that agreement would soon be forgotten.
At the Gilbert house.
Although Elena and Katherine haven't had the best relationship, they were both trying to put their past behind them. At first, it was only because of Caroline and the smile she would give every time she would see them together, then as time went by, the twins found themselves growing closer. As the days passed, they would learn another thing about each other. They were complete opposites but they fit together. They balanced one another. Their relationship may not be 100% perfect or fix - as they still fought over the most stupidest things, which then turns really deep - they're on the road to recovery and both of them are thankful for it.
Currently, the twins are sitting one behind the other. Katherine at the back and styling Elena's hair into a fish-tale braid and Elena at the front painting Katherine's toe nails black with a firework-like-pattern in the middle. All the girls were talking about Rebekah's wedding dress that Caroline had designed and has almost finish making. They were also all in the same positions as Elena and Katherine. Caroline behind Rose and Rebekah behind Bonnie.
"Rebekah the dress looks beautiful, I don't think I have ever designed something so unique, I mean.." Caroline trailed off thinking about the dress, earning giggles from all the girls.
"Yeah Beks, I've seen the dress and the only thing I could say was 'wow'. It's so much better than the drawing." Rose added with a smirk. Caroline had also designed her wedding dress and she can honestly say that even though Rebekah's had a little bit more wow to it, she couldn't be jealous, as both dresses matched the different personalities.
"Well of course the dress looks better in person, I mean come on, Caroline was the one who made it. You all know how talented Care is." Katherine laughed, she would always brag about Caroline's talent to anyone who would listen. She was really proud of Caroline, she has come a long way from the girl who let her insecurities over power her, and Katherine couldn't think of anyone better to look up too.
"This isn't fair. Everyone here has seen my wedding dress but me." Rebekah pouted and the rest of them started to laugh uncontrollably over the childish look on her face.
Once they had calmed down a bit, Bonnie commented, "Bekah you know Caroline and her rules. She's a little control freak so you don't have worry about any doubts, your dress will be perfect."
"OH MY GOD, I'M GETTING MARRIED!" Rebekah suddenly cried.
"OH MY GOD, YOU'RE GOING TO BECOME MY SISTER!" Caroline mocked.
Rebekah let out a small giggle, as she spoke a dreamy look invaded her eyes. "I still can't believe that Stefan and I are getting married. Married. Because we're in love. Because he loves me. He really loves me." A silent tear fell down her cheek, and the girls shared a look before all gathering round to comfort her.
"Bekah what's wrong? You know Stefan loves you. You two are epic!" Caroline smiled.
She didn't get a reply, a frown covered everyone features, all confused over Rebekah's doubt.
"I don't think he'll like it though." She finally spoke, so softly that they almost missed it.
"What won't he like? ... Rebekah?" Elena questioned gently.
Again, she didn't respond.
"Oh my..." Rose suddenly breathed. All eyes then turned to look at her in confusion.
"Beks, I uh .. haven't uh .. seen you drink a single cocktail all night, and we all know how much you love cocktails." She continued hesitantly.
They all realized that Rose was implying that 'Bekah was pregnant, before they could question her though, Rebekah broke down.
None of the girls made a comment, all knowing that they shouldn't push Rebekah to talk if she didn't want to. Even Katherine realized that in the last month of her spending time with the Mikaelson's that it was not wise to force or pressure any of them into doing something they didn't want to do.
They had all wrapped their arms around the sobbing Mikaelson, waiting patiently for her to speak.
A few minutes passed before she spoke. "Stefan said he didn't want any kids. Not yet anyway. I tried to tell him when I found out a couple of weeks ago, but he said we are too young to start a family. What if he leaves me? What if he doesn't want me anymore?" She sobs got worse towards the end of her sentence. The thought of Stefan leaving her was too much to handle for the shocked mother-and-bride-to-be.
"Bekah, Stefan would never leave you. He loves you too much and he'll love your unborn child aswell." Caroline tried to reason, but Rebekah just shook her head.
"Care's right, Stefan adores you. No-one is ever ready to have a baby, but you'll get through it. Yours and Stefan's love is all that you need." Bonnie added, but again, Rebekah just shook her head.
"You didn't see his face." She whispered.
"OK. Rebekah, I know that me and you aren't the best of friends but listen. I know Stefan. So I know that he would have been freaking out when you started talking about babies. One, Stefan is a boy, they never really think about this type of stuff. Two, both me and Care know that he does what a family. Haven't you heard the story of Stefan stealing Care's dolls when she was younger so he could play with them?" Everyone let out a giggle at that, as yes, they had all heard that story. "Three, he might not be imagining the two of you with kids right now, but I can tell you for a fact that he has pictured it, I saw it in his eyes when you was playing with the neighbour's daughter. And four, he was probably saying that because he thought it was what you wanted to hear. But just remember that it's Stefan. Your Stefan. He would never leave you, surely you know that right? He loves you. The both of you. So don't worry about it. Really. Stefan is one of the good guys." She smiled.
Everyone nodded their heads in agreement, none of them could have put it better themselves. Seeing the spark of hopefulness come back to Rebekah's eyes, they all watched as she awkwardly hugged Katherine who was shocked by the embrace but hugged back nonetheless. When they pulled apart, the girls started to laugh, all forgetting the little break down that just happened. Elena went put to the ipod that was quietly playing Katy Perry's I kissed a girl, and turned it up. They all started dancing to the music and singing really loud and a little off key, but none of them cared.
Caroline and Bonnie went into the kitchen to make some more cocktails.
Caroline took this opportunity to ask Bonnie about her and Kol.
"Soo, how are you and Kol doing?"
Bonnie sighed. "He told you didn't he?" She stated more than asked.
"He didn't mean it Bon. Kol forgets things sometimes. He's kinda like me, you know, with the whole, mouth and brain aren't always connected."
"I know, it just... It really hurt Care. And it's not so much that he spoke about my mom, but the fact that he forgot. It felt like he didn't care enough to remember."
"He cares Bon, trust me he cares."
Bonnie looked down, she was falling in love with him, but she wasn't so sure he was feeling the same. Caroline, recognizing the look and the fidgeting, couldn't help herself as a small smile graced her lips.
"You love him."
Startled by her words, Bonnie's head whipped up, looking wide-eyed at Caroline.
"Please don't tell him. He can't know Caroline. Please, God please, don't tell him." She pleaded, earning a shocked and surprised look from the blond.
"I won't tell him," She promised, "But I think you should. You never know Bonnie, Kol might just surprise you." She winked.
They both shared a laugh before continuing with the cocktails.
"Just picture it. One day, everyone girl in this house will be family. We all have a Mikaelson, or you know, a Salvatore." Caroline giggled.
"Apart from Katherine." Bonnie winked.
"She wants a Donavon." They said in union before laughing again.
Next chapter will be the boys. Didn't really know what to do here, I also don't have 'girlfriends' so I don't really know how this type of talk would have gone... so I hope you'll like it!
Thank you for reading my loves, see you'll next week. :D
