Olivier watched as Metro Man scooped Roxanne up in his arms and carry her out of the sell.

"Is she alright?" asked Megamind, still stuck in his sell. Metro man looked down upon her, and he knew there was a high probability that she wasn't going to make it.

"She's fine. Stand back while I take this door down."

"Metro Man handed Roxanne over to Olivier who cradles her, and turned to Megamind's sell. Throwing his arm back, his hand becoming a large iron fist, he shoved it forward, hitting the door so hard, it tore from it's hinges, and bashed against the inside wall. Megamind ran forward and hugged Metro Man, who laughed with joy.

"I hope Jaren didn't hear that. Where is he anyway?" asked Megamind.

"Right here."

Magamind and Metro Man turned and looked over to toward Olivier. Jaren stood next to him, grinning ear to ear, and holding Megamind's gun in hand. Olivier had Roxanne on her feet, leaning against his body, with his arm around her neck, not to choke her, but to keep her standing. Her eyes barely open, and her lips a little apart as if she were trying to say something.

"Let go of her you bustards!" screamed Megamind.

"Make any move, and she's dead." warned Jaren.

"Olivier. Why?" asked Metro Man.

"Because she is unhappy. She may not see it know, but she belongs truly to Metro Man, and you got in the way. But we are fixing it. If you truly loved her Megamind, you would be grateful for us." explained Olivier.

"What the hell are you going on about?!" shouted Megamind.

"So your like obsessed and insane fans of mine." stated Metro Man.

"We're not insane!" shouted Jaren.

"Clearly."

"Look Metro Man. You must see our way is right. You belong with her."

"Look guys. I love Roxanne. I do. Just not in that way. I never have. She is like my little sis. She is classy, sassy, and awesome. And she belongs with Megamind. Not me. So please, give her to us."

"But you don't understand!" shouted Olivier in astonishment. "You must be together."

"I know my own life, and where I belong. It's not with her."

Jaren and Olivier were bewildered, as they stared at Metro Man, not knowing what to say.

'How could he say this?' they asked themselves. Olivier looked down at the floor, and thinking for a moment, he let Roxanne go. She fell to the floor, landing on her hands and knees. Megamind ran to her, and grasped her tight, holding her to him.

"Olivier! What are you doing?!" asked Jaren.

"Helping my hero." responded Olivier, kneeling down and pulling out a syringe.

Jaren figured it was the rest of the poison they decided to make Roxanne take, and he smiled.

"What is that?!" shouted Megamind, swapping his hand away. "You better get out of my site before I kill you!"

"Calm down Megamind. It's the antidote to the poison I gave her earlier."

Olivier moved his hand to Roxannes arm, but Megamind punched him in his eye, making him full back on his rear. He held his right eye and glared at Megamind. Jaren launched forward and tackled Megamind, pinning him to the floor, and Olivier stabbed the needle inside her arm. Once he did, he was shot back, hitting against the wall behind him, and knocking his head on the wall. Blood flowed and oozed from the back of his head. Metro Man stood where Olivier had been, breathing heavy. That was a kill shot. Jaren looked over rat his friend, forgetting what he had been doing, giving Megamind the chance to knock Jaren off of him. Jaren landed on the floor, hitting his head to the ground and as he opened his eyes, Megamind appeared fuzzy to him. Not able to move quick enough, Megamind pulled the gun away from him, and pointed it at Jaren. Without even a second thought, or a glance to his wife and best friend, he fired, ending Jaren's life. He let go of the gun and picked Roxanne up. She opened her eyes, and looked in Megaminds eyes.

"I'm feeling better."

Roxanne lied on her bed inside the Metro City Hospital. She had been sleeping for a few days now, but the doctors kept reassured Megamind that she was recovering. True her lips were her normal cherry red, and her dark marks under her eyes had vanished. Still, he couldn't help but worry. And there he was, sitting in a chair next to her bed side, and holding her hand. Then he felt her hand squeeze ever so tightly, and Megamind peered down at her. She smiled up at him, a lovely warmth coming from her eyes. Megamind leaned down, placing his hand at the nap of her neck to lean her forward a little as he kissed her. She sniffed and he pulled away to see her crying.

"What is wrong Roxy?" asked Megamind.

She slightly shook her head and giggled.

"I just love you so much."

Megamind thought he was going to cry, but he held it in, taking a long breath.

"I love you to. You are safe now."

"What about the baby?" asked Roxanne, her smile snapping into a frown, and a worry streaming down her face. She looked down at her stomach. It wasn't big anymore.

"Where is the baby?!" she screamed.

"Roxy? Roxanne, it is alright. The baby is here." Megamind said, trying to reassure her.

"Where?"

Megamind grabbed her hand with both his, and kissed it. "He is in the nursery."

"He?"

"Yes, a beautiful baby boy. I knew wall along." claimed Megamind with a smile.

"But how? I mean, I was so sick."

"Well, Olivier seemed to have a heart after all. He was in charge of giving you those shots. Seems like he forgot to do most of them."

"That doesn't make much sense. I don't understand. Megamind, can you get me some water?"

Megamind stood and walked to the sink, filling a little paper cup of water with, and gave it to Roxanne who drank it quickly.

"You know Megamind, I think he didnt want to hurt me. Or he was really confused. I had woken up ones while I was there, and I was on a very comfortable couch, laying on someone. I think it was him. He had red hair, and had Metro Man tattooed to his chest."

"You were sleeping on him?!"

"I just had my head on his lap. That's it."

"That cold hearted Bastard."

Roxanne rolled her eyes.

"Look Roxanne. I am not sure how the baby lived. But he is alive and thats great with me."
"When did I have him? I think I would have remembered that."

"No, he came a little premature of course because of the poison, and the doctors had to do a C-Section."

Roxanne lifted her hospital gown up off her stomach and saw the long and deep sewed up cut on her stomach.

"Ew!"

"don't be silly. Your still beautiful." said Megamind with a smile.

"Right, well. So the baby is fine then?"

Megamind looked towards the floor for a few moments, then back at Roxanne, who looked back at him in horror.

"Well, the Doctors say that it's amazing he is even alive. He is on a oxygen nebulizer, and they say he may need it all his life. His bones are very weak, and his immune system is destroyed."

"So what does that mean?" asked Roxanne in tears.

"It means he might not live for very long."

Roxanne pulled away from Megamind.

"Let me see him." she demanded.

"Metro Man and some others are figuring out how to copy the antidote Olivier gave you before he died. They are close."

"Olivier is dead?"

"Yes. Along with Jaren."

"Good."

They sat there for a while, saying nothing, and Megamind feared that Roxanne had shut down.

"Roxanne?"

She looked over to Megamind, and in his eyes she could see he wanted to ask her if she was alright, and so she smiled at him. A half hearted smile, and opened up her arms out to him. He excepted them and came to sit by his wife, wrapping her in his arms.

There was a knock on the door.

"Hello." said a man coming in. "I am Doctor Johnson. I just wanted you to know that Metro Man came back with the antidote, and your baby should be just fine. He will have to get shot at least once a day for a few months, but he should be fine. I want you to have check ups on him though at least every 7 months. Just to be sure. Nice to see you awake Mrs. Megamind. How are?"

Roxanne smiled. "I am great."

"Really? Ok, great. You want to see the baby?" he asked.

"Of course." said Megamind. He scooped his wife up in his arms as the Doctor called in a nurse to bring a wheel chair for them. They were lead to a private nursery where they kept the babe away from the others, and once inside they began to cry. Roxanne wanted to hold her child so badly, however it was ill advised as the babe was asleep, and he needed is rest.

"Isn't little Megamind so cute?" asked Megamind.

"What? Little Megamind?" asked Roxy.

"Yeah. Little Megamind Jr."

"No."

"What? Why?!"

I hate it when people give there kids the same name as them. It's annoying. Especially when the two are in the room, and you call for one of them and they both ask what. Sure they can say Jr. but thats just punishment to the poor little guy."

"Fine. What should we call him then?" asked Megamind.

"Hmm? How about-" Roxanne looked down at her baby and watched as his little chest went up and down with each breath he took. "What's the Wardens name?"

"The warden. We cant name him after the warden."

"Why not?" asked Roxanne.

"Because we cant. I dont know his name anyway."

"You could call him."

"No." Megamind put his foot down, crossing his arms across his chest.

"Fine Fine. Then we should call him Thomas."

"Thomas? Why not something like Mega- "

"No Megas." said Roxanne, cutting him off.

"Fine. If you don't want him to be mega, then that's all you."

Roxanne rolled her eyes. She wanted to stand and see her child, but she new her legs wouldn't let her quite yet. He looked small from her angle, with a little patch of brown hair on his head. His skin however was blue. Just like Megamind's. She wondered what color his eyes would be, and she hoped it would be the same color as her husbands.

"Thomas it is then."

Roxanne looked up at Megamind and smiled, glad he agreed.

1 year later.

Metro Man, Minion, and Bill sat together around the birthday boy, who was all smiles and giggles. Roxanne sat in front of her baby's high chair with a plate full of Spongebob chocolate cake. She placed it on his traiy and they started the song. In the middle of it, Thomas began to cry, getting scared of the crowd of people who were being rather loud. They all laughed and Roxanne wipped her finger in the cake frosting, and put it in the babes mouth. Immediately he stopped crying and licked the roof of his mouth. He then stuck his hand in the cake before Roxanne could stop him, and he shoved the handful of cake inside his mouth. Megamind smiled and took a picture where he stood at the end of the table.

Many friends were there, from the Warden, to Roxannes boss Mrs. Robertson. Megamind peered at these people. At everyone. From his friend Metro Man, his companion Minion, to his wife, then last at his babe. Laughter filled the room, and a sudden warmth rushed over his heart. This was his family. He was home.
