When the song finished it was silent, most of the lost boys smiled softly and sadly at the small little house before dispersing. The grown ups moved away so they wouldn't be seen by the two children coming out of the little house made of things from the forest.
Emma and twin came out of the house, they walked out talking to each other. Emma was telling the boy that they should make what was called a basket ball court to play, which he agreed knowing it was a game. Emma and twin decided to swing down to forest floor of the hideout clearing trying to cheer themselves up.
The grown up's followed them using the ladder, they went unnoticed by Emma and the boy she was with. Emma was now with the most of the other lost boys as she was explaining the game of basketball, they all cheered and were excited going to gather things to build the court. Some boys were still near Emma talking, Mary Margaret and David were staring at their daughter and the group of boys.
Mary Margaret turned to David with tears in her eyes still. "This has to end David, she needs her parent's we have to tell her"
"I know-"
"She is our baby, we've waited far too long. We have a chance, to be her parent's. We have to give her best chance, this time that is with her mom and dad" David stared at Mary Margaret with his hurtful sadden blue eyes knowing by far she was right.
Emma looked around for Tinkerbell knowing that they would need her help because she told Emma that she was the best Tinker in Neverland. Emma whistled out to the fairy who flew very quickly towards her best friend.
Emma explained to Tinkerbell who flew off only to come back two seconds later, she flew over to an open area and quickly sparkling bright green as she did so. She quickly assembled together two basket's very similar to a basket ball court, she flew towards Emma then halted in flight breathing heavily panting. Tinkerbell smiled at them all, the boys in the meantime had made a brown ball to play with.
All of the children including Tinkerbell began to play the game, the boys were doing flips and shooting basket's playing. The ball they had made was soft so it didn't hurt anyone, Emma began to play with them as well showing them how. She was having fun, just like yesterday with the boys playing a game. Other boys were off playing on makeshift skateboard made of things found in the forest, they skated on the ramp they had already had; Other's played around the hideout having fun.
Regina and Hook were talking with each other but kept their distance from the charming's knowing they were in turmoil over their shrunken daughter. Hook told Regina all about his time in Neverland and Peter pan and his shadow, she got chills from all of it. She asked him how they were going to get Henry back, he told her about the boy Pan had been searching for and his belief that Henry may be that boy. She also asked him if he had any clue as to how Emma was turned into a child, he had no clue as to how or why.
Mary Margaret and David waited for an opportunity to tell her, they stood there watching her have fun playing with the boys. Emma was smiling enjoying playing, one of the boys hit the ball as she went to make a basket making it fly a couple of feet before dropping to ground and magically roll towards Mary Margaret and David's feet. They saw the ball was moved by an unseen force, after seeing it stop for a second a few feet away from their feet before rolling again towards them.
Emma smiling spotted the ball not noticing who it was by, she ran over to retrieve it ready to play some more invested into the game. Emma bent down to pick up the ball only to see another set of hands pick up before her, she stood up straight to see who picked it up and saw it was David.
Mary Margaret and him stared at her, David held the ball in his hands as leverage. Emma went to grab the ball smiling wanting to go back to the game, but couldn't for the fact David moved it away from her. Emma looked at him, as she spoke. "Can I have the ball back?" she smiled towards them, but then stopped when she noticed the look upon their faces.
It was written in their eyes, she saw this expression when she first met them in the forest. Love. David held the ball to the side of him, Mary Margaret looked to him then to their little girl.
Mary Margaret then kneeled down to Emma's height, she put her hands the side of Emma's arms comfortingly. Mary Margaret smiled sadly at her, Emma flinched when Mary Margaret touched her which made the woman touch her even more trying to show her not to be afraid.
"You were right about your parent's wanting you. Oh they wanted more than anything in the world, baby" David came closer to them both kneeling down beside his wife, he put his hands on her shoulder's. Emma's face took confusion then when Mary Margaret said that word she knew.
They knew her parent's she had to know what they knew, she could find them and they could be together.
"you know my parent's?" Emma asked whispering to them, desperately wanting to know.
Before they could answer they heard crowing and loud noises coming towards them, they soon saw teenage boys holding torches, spears, crossbows, sticks, and clubs wearing hoods and dark color cloths of clothing come into view. They all watched in fear as the boys came out of no where, the lost boy's took out weapons knowing that the lost one's meant Pan was near and they were in danger.
Tinkerbell noticed this, she could feel Pan's presence coming closer. She had to get Emma away from here quickly. The area started to become more and more dark instead of the sunshine it once had.
A teenager who had his hood up with blonde hair and a club, he appeared to be the leader; Steeped out of the line of teenage boys and spoke putting his club on his shoulder. "Get the girl" The boys then took off, they started to fire off arrows and ran towards Emma.
Mary Margaret pulled Emma towards her protectively, while David sheathed his sword standing in front of his family protecting them. Mary Margaret tried to keep Emma's face into towards her keeping her eyes away from the boys fighting keeping her safe in her arms. Multiple boys attacked David while trying to get to Emma, Emma snuck a glance at the David and saw he was struggling.
Tinkerbell flew over to where the charming's were and started to throw the lost one's away from the family with her mighty strength even though she was very small. Tinkerbell then flew towards Emma and Mary Margaret, she spoke to Emma quickly.
Mary Margaret could not hear her when she was shrunk down, only children could. Emma spoke for Tinkerbell. "She want's us to run" David turned towards his family, then looked around more lost one's were headed their way. David quickly scooped Emma up in his arms and started to run with Mary Margaret towards the forest with Tinkerbell leading them, Regina and Hook weren't far behind.
The lost boys only suffered some cut's from the lost one's but no casualties for they both were evenly match plus they had the advantage of real swords. They noticed that Emma had gotten away, they cheered as the lost one's fled deeming them the victors.
The group was running in the forest lost one's chasing them, Emma clung to David tightly hoping he would protect her. They kept running with lost one's and Felix following them coming close, they ran through the forest not noticing the cliff they were approaching until they reached the edge of it stopping before all of them fell.
They stood there, Felix and the group of lost one's behind him reached them noticing they stopped in front of a cliff which was near the beaches shore. Felix grinned towards them, then spoke.
"Well isn't this our lucky day..." He grinned before turning quickly into a serious face before speaking clearly.
"Separate the girl from the adults, I want to play a game with her" The lost one's went over towards the group to separate them from Emma.
David put Emma down, then Mary Margaret brought her in towards her while Tinkerbell flew near Emma's ear while Regina stayed near Emma helping protect the girl from being scared. David and Hook took out their sword's once the lost one's came close to them, they fought for a while until Felix grew tired of waiting. He took out a knife from his belt underneath his cloak and caught Tinkerbell who was flying trying to help David and Hook fight the boys.
"Tink!" Emma lurched forward going to save her best friend, Mary Margaret and Regina held the girl back making sure she didn't run off towards Felix protecting her.
Tinkerbell struggled in her tiny green sparkling form in Felix's hand, Felix chuckled darkly as he held her tightening the knife to Tink's little neck keeping her in place.
Emma struggled wanting to help, Felix saw this and followed his instructions from Pan on how to get the girl to play his game.
Emma watched him with anger and determination to get her friend back, while Mary Margaret kept her close to her side not letting her little girl go. "Let Tink go!"
Felix chuckled once more looking around then back at her, starting to speak smiling smugly. "If you want your precious best friend back why don't you do something about it" Emma lurched forward once more struggling wanting to save her friend.
Felix stood there while holding Tinkerbell, Tinkerbell looked to Emma flashing her green sparkling self sending Emma a message only Emma could understand.
Emma then thought then smiled knowing now what to do, she looked up at Felix once more and spoke one word that made his smug grin turn upside down. "This" Emma brought her fingers to her mouth and whistled very loudly sounding throughout the forest, make a buzzing sound appear for the first time in may years that only got louder.
Tinkerbell smiled and sarcastically made a 'uh-oh' sound directed towards Felix, who now had a look of disbelief releasing Tinkerbell from his grasp. His face then grew angry knowing what she did, she summoned the pixie's only someone so powerful could do that. Felix eyes widened in realization at what she was capable of, she believed in the pixie's and brought them back to life. No wonder Pan wanted her, he growled noticing the lost ones were being called back with haste.
His eyes shown with smugness and jealousy, for the fact she could replace him in Pan's eyes. "This isn't over Lost girl, Pan will get you sooner or later...Pan never fails" he grinned darkly towards her once pulling his hood up over his head before fleeing with the two boys that had followed him.
Before they left Tinkerbell flew over to Emma shoulder where she hovered in the air and stuck her tongue out at the lost one's retreating forms into the forest jungle making Emma giggle at her joke. Emma followed her by kicking the dirt towards them, silently cheering with Tinkerbell at their victory.
Mary Margaret still had her hands on Emma shoulder's as she watched the lost one's fall back in shock, as was everyone else. Once they gathered their thoughts they had decided to go back to the hideout and check on the lost boys, and mostly to celebrate their victory. They haven't won a battle against the lost one's yet, and now they have thanks to Emma.
Once they had gotten back to the hideout clearing all the boys circled Emma all giving her hugs and cheers celebrating the victory. Tinkerbell stood by Mary Margaret and David eyeing them with a look they both understood, they needed to tell her before anything else happened.
Emma had her back to them ash she spoke excitedly with the boys planning to have a never-feast in celebration dancing around. Emma only turned around once she heard her name being called by the woman she had met in the forest.
"Emma' the blonde girl turned around towards the voice her face still holding a smile, Mary Margaret and David walked over to her getting close and kneeled down to her height. Mary Margaret smiled sadly at her moving her hair lovingly wondering how to start this conversation.
"Do you remember when we spoke earlier?" Emma nodded at them remembering, she had forgotten with what had happened; she really wanted to know and at the same time didn't.
"Your parent's they...found you" David joined in speaking the last bit of the sentence, the girls eyes widened looking at them in realization which turned to slight anger.
She asked them what she always wondered. "Why did you give me up?" Mary Margaret and David looked at each other wondering how they could explain this to their little girl in a way she wouldn't get mad or understand.
Mary Margaret looked into Emma's eyes and saw the sadness, and the sorrow. "Oh Honey, we had no choice. We had to send you away to save you, we wanted you more than anything in the world and we still do"
David joined in staring at their little girl the same way Mary Margaret was. "and we still do, we already knew since you were born that we loved you" Emma then hugged them sobbing and crying now onto Mary Margaret shoulder, Mary Margaret then picked her up in her arms and held her little girl hugging her with her own tears in her eyes while David joined then hugging Emma and placing a light kiss on her forehead.
Emma breathed in her mother's scent then mumbled into Mary Margaret's neck "Smells just like my blanket", they almost didn't hear her; but did. They smiled through their tears, the lost boys watched with tears in their own eyes happy for their sister for finding her parents. They then broke out in cheers for the newly reunited family celebrating even more than before dancing around doing flips in excitement.
The family stayed together hugging for a while before they separated from the hug, but not each other and joined the lost boys and everyone else at the big feast table Tinkerbell had made appear which had multiple never food's upon it.
They all talked excitedly celebrating, even Regina and Hook were happy a bit. Regina relaxed when she heard from Tinkerbell that they would escort them through Never land using the map Pan had given Mary Margaret and David to find Pan's lair and get back Henry.
Mary Margaret and David parented Emma and some of the lost boys while they all ate, but got out of hand when Slightly threw some food at Twin which caused Emma to throw food at him back in retaliation for her friend which ended up hitting Curley resulting in everyone having a food fight.
It got out of control and soon everyone joined in even the adults, Emma had climbed up on the table shouting excitedly having fun throwing food towards Hook, which resulted in multiple lost boys throwing food at her for fun.
In the Shadows two figures met up watching the scene of the food fight, Pan stood there watching his ..lost girl having fun. Without him. This made him mad, but after today he seemed pleased with his lost girl and her potential. He wanted to test her in one final thing as Felix joined him and he shared his plans for now.
"What now Peter?"
Pan grinned at Felix with his arms crossed eyeing the food fight, he then answering his followers question made a coconut appear out of thin air believing. The coconut had a 'P' carved into it with a knife, knowing that this would send a message to the group that he will get his lost girl; he would take her when the time was right.
Felix then chuckled at the coconut, then showed upon his face a blank look with a smirk as Pan stepped back and chucked the coconut straight towards the lost girl who was on the feast table hurtling very fast for a reason. He knew she would.
After all she was meant to be just like him, he was going to make her see that this place will and always be her permanent home. With him.
Everyone was throwing food at each other having fun, Emma stood on top of the long feast table throwing food with a huge happy grin on her face. After she through another piece of food, one of the lost boys shouted something worried hearing a whizzing noise as something shot threw the air towards Emma.
"EMMA LOOK OUT!" Emma didn't even see what was headed towards her as she stopped after hearing one of the lost boys shout, then another shouted so quickly procuring a sword tossing it up to her shouting "Emma catch" which she did in a half a second.
Without even thinking as the object came close to hitting her, Emma quickly swung around using the sword slashing in the air as she did so as everyone watched as a coconut was slashed perfectly in half while the milk from it splattered. Emma didn't even think when she had done it, everyone was deathly silent as they saw this amazing thing happen; everyone noticed one half of the coconut on the table still spinning from the swords swing.
Emma looked off into the distance holding the sword in a stance towards the direction the coconut was thrown, she noticed a boy standing in the jungle far away in front of her with that other boy who tried to hurt Tinkerbell. The boy Emma really took notice of was the boy in green clothing similar to her own, that Tinkerbell had given her. He smiled towards her, and then she knew. That was the boy from her dream who had the same smile that brought the deadly darkness, this was the 'Pan' the boy who tried to hurt Tinkerbell was mentioning earlier, but one question remained in Emma's mind.
Why did the boy want her, did it have to do with her dream, and what will happen if he does get her.
The lost boys looked up at Emma in wonder, thinking if she was the one Tink had said would bring the Light fully back to Neverland once again; they hoped it wasn't the other who was destined to doom Neverland further than Pan could ever achieve alone.
Nope she was the one who would bring back the light, Tinkerbell even said so herself.
Then David, Snow, Regina and Hook all turned their heads from Emma to a boy who said softly one word.
"Savior"
Snow's protectiveness took over and she picked Emma off the table making her little girl let go of the sword as it made a clang falling onto the table and held her close to her holding her tight, Emma just relaxed into the touch hugging her even more in fear of the boy she had seen. Emma knew once her father hugged them both bringing them both in towards him that they were scared for her...and so was she.
Pan had seen his lost girl look at him for the first time since she had arrived in Neverland, he looked into her eyes which held such wonder, natural power and talent making him smile knowing it would belong to him just as she would. He held his gaze until it was broken by his lost girl's infernal mother who just had to go just like her infernal father. He knew that his lost boys and Shadow couldn't reach her so long as they were together.
"They need to be separated, it's the only way we will retrieve the lost girl. I will convince the boy that he belongs here, and gain his trust. Then his heart and The Savior will be mine..forever" Peter then disappeared into the shadows.
Felix then flashed a smile at the shadows as he whispered. "Pan never fails"
