Here is another update. I am thinking this might be the last chapter. I might add one more in the near future but for right now, I think this is a good ending. If I do decide to write more, I'll add something with Rachel and Quinn in it. That way you can have closure with that as well.
I hope you have enjoyed this story. I know I haven't been able to update as frequently as you all wanted but I had some issues going on in my personal life. Thank you to all of those who stuck with the story and have said nice things about it. I love you all!
Thank you for reading! If you want me to write another story like this or just another Brittana or Faberry story, let me know!

Brittany fluttered her eyes, feeling the sunlight peak through the top of the tent. It was warm on her face and she took a deep breath, expecting fresh air but instead she breathed in the scent of almond shampoo. She opened her eyes completely and saw dark brown locks spread across her arm and the blanket she used as a pillow. The blonde decided not to question in, laying back down and putting her arm around the smaller girl in front of her. She wondered what changed her mind, but maybe she'd tell her when she woke up.
Earlier.
Santana sat on a bed for a minute, tears dripping down her cheeks. She couldn't deal with this anymore, they were in an accident involving drinking and Brittany thought it was okay?
After a few minutes of silence there was three load noises. Breaking glass. Santana jumped at each one, not knowing what to do or say. At that moment, she couldn't think of anything else except the accident. There was silence again downstairs and then her phone went off. The name lit up as Berry.
"What in the hell could she possibly want right now." She rolled her eyes, wiping at the tears that lingered at the bottom of her chin.
"Santana, before you say anything, just listen to me. I just got a call from Brittany. She was bawling her eyes out and she told me that you were angry at her because there was alcohol sitting on your kitchen counter…"
"R-"
"I said wait until I'm finished Santana Lopez. I know that Brittany had been a bit careless before in her act of drinking but do you really thing she would do something like this? That she would go out and buy alcohol and start drinking after you got hurt? It was wrong of her to drink after what happened to you before but this time, she was dumping the bottles out. She's trying Santana. So-"
Rachel was cut off by a knock at the door. It was Brittany. She said there was food sitting on the table for her. Their was a silence after her words and then a creaking of the floor next to the room. Brittany walked back downstairs as Santana remained silent for a few minutes. She put the phone back up to her ear.
"Sorry, Brittany came up stairs. She just knocked on the door and said she put a plate of food on the table for me.."
"See, she is trying to make things right. Go downstairs and go talk to her. Right now. I'll call you later."
Santana clicked the end call button and fell backwards onto the bed. She looked up at the ceiling and started to think about the situation. After a few minutes she heard the backdoor shut and she moved to the window, opening it a little. Brittany moved to the tent outside. A familiar song started to play in the distance and she heard a soft voice humming and then singing.
When the chorus came on, the Latina started to sing along, her voice in a whisper. A few tears stung her eyes and fell onto her cheeks, dripping down to her chin. She didn't bother to wipe at them, knowing more would fall.
The song finished and there was a soft sobbing sound. She was so angry but, what if she was really doing the right thing.
The Latina left the window and walked to the door, heading downstairs. She looked over to the food on the table and decided to eat a little bit of it. A note sat next to the plate. When the note ended, she got up and headed towards the back door. She hoped that Brittany was sleeping because she just wanted to lay with her. No words, just feeling. The brunette slipped into the tent, seeing the girl inside was sleeping. There was just enough room to move and not wake her up.
The blondes eyes were puffy and her nose was red. The Latina looked over and grabbed the phone still playing music, pausing it and pushing it away from them. She returned her gaze to the girl in front of her, placing a kiss upon her cheek and moving closer to curl into her. She grabbed the blondes arm and pulled it over her, just wanting to be close.
A few minutes later, Santana started to turn back over, facing Brittany. The blondes eyes were closed again, her face less red and her eyes less puffy. The brunette brought her hand up and started tracing the girls' eyebrows and then her jawline, ending with the outline of her lips. Her eyes fluttered open and she half smiled.
"Morning." The blonde whispered in a tired voice. Santana smiled in return, glad that she hadn't woken up angry.
"Good morning sunshine." Santana gave the girl a shy smile, moving her hand down to wrap around her waist. "Britt, I'm sorry about last night. I know I kind of over reacted."
Brittany shook her head in protest. "Santana, I know I haven't been a good girlfriend to you. I messed up and then I messed up again. You had every right to think that I was going to drink. I shouldn't have been such an asshole about everything before."
"Brittany you're not an asshole." Santana let out a small laugh, bringing her hand back up to tuck a strand of loose hair behind the blonde's ear.
"San I know I'm an asshole, well, have been an asshole about this. Last night I was just cleaning and found the bottles and I was going to dump them after I finished cleaning. I wanted to show you that I can change. That I will change because I love you. I love you so god damn much and I don't know what I would do with out you. And I-…"
Santana cut her off with a kiss. With out hesitation, Brittany pushed the kisses deeper, bringing a hand up to caress the side of her lovers face. A few seconds later the brunette broke the kiss, pulling the blonde closer to her.
"Britt, you don't have to explain to me, I read the note and I over reacted. I shouldn't have doubted you." She took a deep breath in, letting it out slowly. "During the time in the hospital, I was trying to find you. I couldn't let go because of you, I had to keep trying to wake up. When I did, I was so happy that you were there. I didn't think about the accident, all I thought about was you. But last night, and for the past few weeks, I thought everything was going to go back to how it was." She looked down, her face showing regret. "I love you Brittany. I love you so much." A tear rolled down tan skin, dropping onto fabric. Brittany smiled and held her close, kissing the top of her forehead.
"I promise that things are going to be different. When I was still in the hospital, they wouldn't let me see you. All I wanted to do was go to your room and lay in bed with you and after I was released I kept trying to see you but they kept saying no. It felt like they wouldn't let me see you because you weren't there and that you passed and I hated myself." Her eyes filled with tears, as did Santana's but Brittany's held fear and terror as she spoke. "I thought that I killed you. This all wouldn't of happened if it wasn't for me. I made you come to that stupid party and I was an idiot. But Rachel helped me get passed the nurses and I found you. You were still here and.. and then you woke up and my heart almost dropped. I don't ever want to be away from you. I'm going to change. I swear on my life. I threw out that alcohol and I'm never going to drink again just as long as I can have you."
After Brittany finished, Santana kissed her again, this time with a hunger to be closer. Like she never wanted to be apart from the girl ever again. Brittany deepened the kiss, pulling Santana closer, arms wrapping around the smaller girls neck. It had been a long time since they've kissed like this, a kiss filled with hunger, want and need.
Each breath became heavier and heavier. Layers were shed inside the small tent, the air becoming thicker and hot.
A few minutes passed and the girls were almost completely naked. Thank god for fencing and distant neighbors.
Every touch was burning with desire. Each breath pushed out heavily, coated in lengthy groans. Blunt fingertips danced across soft skin, occasionally digging in, leaving dark red marks. With every thrust, kiss and bite, a deep burning sensation shot through, eliciting a deep guttural moan from either girl.
This was the first time, in a long time, they were with each other in this way. Even back in high school it was never like this. With so much… feeling.
Every piece of clothing was shed after another few minutes. Both gripping at one another's bodies to feel closer, exposed physically and emotionally. As the tension built higher, everything became louder. Not just the noises falling from either girls lips, but the love and passion shared.
Moments later, tan fingers tangled into golden locks, pulling hard as the heat took over, exploding inside each nerve of her body. The Latina screamed in pleasure, letting it all out. Seconds later, her lover did the same.
There was such an overload in pleasure, they didn't seem to notice they were still writhing against each other, bringing up another wave.
The girls held each other close, their breaths finally stabilizing. Neither said a word, each knowing how the other felt. Santana turned onto her back, eyes still closed as Brittany did the same. The blonde let her hand trace fall to the ground, next to her lovers. With out hesitation, Santana linked her pinky with Brittany's. They looked at one another and smiled before leaning in for another kiss.
A few hours later.
The girls eventually dressed themselves and walked back into the house, both feeling a bit hungry and tired. Brittany started on making something quick in the kitchen while Santana headed to the living room, turning on the tv. She smiled, to herself for a moment, truly happy for the first time in a long time. Everything was falling into place.
Brittany returned from the kitchen with two plates of pasta and two bottles of water tucked under her arm. A cartoon was playing on the screen, something about a dog and an old lady. The blonde took a seat next Santana, handing one plate to her along with a bottle of water.
"Thank you Britt. It smells delicious." She smiled and dug into the food with her fork. Brittany always had been a wonderful cook.
"Well, pasta is your favorite." She winked and mirrored the brunettes actions. Their eyes stayed on the screen for a few minutes while they ate. Eventually they changed the channel and put the plates on the coffee table. Brittany turned her back to the chair of the couch and Santana moved up and rested her back against Brittany, her head in the perfect position on her chest. The blonde placed a soft kiss on top of raven locks, smiling as her favorite movie came up onto the screen.
"Finding Nemo."
The two sat in silence for a good portion into the movie. During that time, Brittany started to play with Santana's hair, letting her fingers smooth down the locks then twirling little strands. There was something about it that made Santana feel so happy. It was just a small gesture but it meant everything.
Towards the end of the movie, where Dory comes back, the girls looked at one another. Brittany had a tear in her eye because she always cried at this movie, but for the first time, Santana too, had a tear in her eye. Santana turned her head slightly, placing a kiss on the bottom of Brittany's chin. The girl smiled and lent her head down, kissing soft, plump lips.
"I love you Britt."
"I love you too San."
