THINKING OF YOU

Disclaimer: I do not own the sonic series or any of it characters. They belong to SEGA. This is a story that came into my head of sonic and elise. keep in mind, this story is their love. please don't go bashing on this story. well lets begin.

Chapter 3: wedding bells and awkward news

It was a special day in the main castle of Soleanna. All the towns people were standing next to each other waiting for the ceremony of the wedding of the two lovers, Sonic and Princess Elise.

Tails, Knuckles and Amy stopped in place noticing the crowd of people gather around the castle.

"Hey, what's going on?" Knuckles asked trying to get a better view of the ceremony.

"Hmm…it sure looks important." Tails said thinking.

"I know what this is!" Amy suddenly called out.

"You do?" Tails and knuckles said looking at Amy.

Amy nodded her head and looked up to the sky. "it's the time of love, where two lovers marry and be together forever!" She sighed deeply with small glint of light shining off her eyes.

Knuckles shook his head, thinking that amy would be picturing herself with sonic.

"Come on! Lets go see who is getting married!" Amy said with glee and ran towards the crowd. Tails and knuckles looked at each other before following amy.

"Hey, where is sonic anyway?" Tails suddenly pointed out.

"Yeah…he should be around here don't you think?" Knuckles said.

Amy then gasped, which caught Tails and Knuckles attendtion. They wonder what made her gasp, but turns out it was the fireworks starting to be lit.

Fireworks started, and everyone began to cheer, knowing the ceremony of princess Elise and Sonic's marriage had begun.

Amy, Tails and Knuckles looked to see the princess of Soleanna walk down the long plaza, wearing a beautiful dress.

Elise calmly walked towards the archer of the castle, where the bishop stood waiting. Everyone was cheering, expressing their joy for the princess seeing her walk down the red carpet.

Amy was anxious to see who the groom was, her eyes looking around, among the crowd of people. She then looked and her smile turned into a small gasp.

Tails and Knuckles looked too and their mouths slowly dropped.

"SONIC?!" they shouted with shock.

Sonic didn't notice his friends were there inside the crowd, all he focused on was elise.

Sonic soon walked up the step standing next to elise.

The bishop bowed his head and cleared his throat, ready to read.

Amy couldn't believe her eyes, why would sonic go for elise and not her? Tails and Knuckles couldn't believe their eyes either.

"I never knew sonic was ever going to stop running." Tails said.

"I know…mostly he hates to be forced into a relationship or getting married for that matter." Knuckles said raising his fist in the air.

Amy clutched her fists tightly. "Ooohhh! He makes me so angry!" amy growled.

"Uhh…amy, we should be supporting sonic, not hating him for what he's doing." Tails said trying to keep amy calm.

"What's she got that I don't got?!" Amy complained, stomping her foot on the ground.

"Well…maybe he felt overwhelmed by you always trying to marry him." Tails explained.

"What Tails meant to say, Amy. Is sonic didn't want to be forced to marry such a love struck hedgehog...and elise is more prettier and understands sonic than you!" Knuckles said getting close to her face.

"Love struck hedgehog?!" She said, boiled. She pulled out her hammer and wanted to whack knuckles in the head.

Knuckles knew he just screwed up. "A-Amy…I Uhh!" Knuckles said cowering a bit from amy as she walked slowly towards him.

Sonic and Elise were about to kiss, when they heard a loud thud.

Sonic stopped and his eyes had widen, Elise looked worried. The crowd gasped.

Knuckles was on the ground with a huge lump on his head, flinching in pain.

Amy was panting hard with rage, staring at sonic and elise. Tails was at least holding her back.

"Sonic! I won't forget this day that you screwed up!" amy screamed.

She stormed off, to try and get away from the ceremony and away from sonic.

Tails ran towards knuckles to help him up on his feet.

Elise looked down in shame.

Sonic looked up at her and held her hand. "Don't worry elise, this doesn't mean our love is over, you're all that matters to me, now." sonic said to try and make elise feel better.

Elise looked at sonic and smiled a small sad smile.

Even after that weird moment the ceremony still continued… even long into the night.

Everyone was watching the dancers dance and enjoying themselves with the scrumptious cake.

Even Tails and Knuckles joined the party.

Sonic sat beside elise, eating some cake by the table they were sitting at. Elise felt ever more happier with sonic as she giggled a bit enjoying sonic eat the piece cake so cutely that she had forgotten about Amy's problem with her and sonic.

Sonic then cut a small piece of the white cake and handed it to elise. Elise took the fork and ate the small piece of cake while blushing looking at sonic.

Sonic then hopped off the chair and offered his hand to her smiling at her. Elise took his hand and the two lovers walked to the center of the plaza and began to dance.

The crowd stood aside to watch the married couple dance.

Sonic was enjoying himself so much he wanted to keep on dancing with the one who he loved most.

Mephiles watched from one of the tall buildings. He stared a blank stare focusing on sonic and elise.

Robotink hovered by. "Ah! it looks like that measly hedgehog has already married the princess, Hm?"

"Yes…but we have to lure them out, in order to reawaken the flames of disaster." Mephiles said looking at Robotink.

"I know that! I'm just waiting for the right time to strike…as of now let him enjoy these last moments with the one he loves." Robotink said. "for it may be his last."

Mephiles watched Robotink hover away and slowly stared back at sonic and elise. But they were gone.

Mephiles then faded away into darkness, sighing in anger.

The ceremony had ended and everyone went home. Tails and knuckles went to go look for amy, wondering where she run off too.

Meanwhile, sonic and Elise were back at the castle.

Sonic carried elise to her room. Sonic and elise were staring at each other.

"Did you have fun sonic?" Elise asked looking at him walk off a bit towards her balcony.

Sonic then turned his head looking at her with a smile on his face. "I sure did." He said, his eyes lit up with joy.

Elise smiled and nodded her head. "I'm…Glad." She said, her voice sounded a bit sad.

Sonic blinked. "Elise…it doesn't matter what amy thinks of us, what matters is that I love you." He said walking over to her side. "and…were together…forever, till the end." He said holding her hands in his. Elise felt happy to hear those words come from sonic.

Sonic then leaned in to kiss her on her cheek. Elise giggled a little, blushing.

Sonic chuckled and walked outside to wait, as elise went into bathroom to change into her night time clothes.

Elise laid on the bed, under the covers, she waited for sonic to come back inside.

Sonic walked in looking at her while he walked towards the bed. He then slipped under the covers, laying next to elise.

Elise turned her self to her left side staring at Sonic's face, while smiling at him.

Sonic looked back at her and sighed a passion sigh. "Your so, beautiful when you smile." He said.

They stared into each other's eyes for a long moment, as if they were in a trance. They moved a little closer to each other, as they cuddled closely. They both kissed a passion kiss. Sonic and Elise's hands gripped tightly around one another as a sign of their love starting, into a moment of deep passion. Elise then closed her eyes slowly, awaiting Sonic's love. Sonic then moved his head down to her neck, as he was over her.

Elise then felt Sonic's lips touching her soft skin on the nip of her neck, she gasped quietly, softly moaning Sonic's name.

A FEW MONTHS LATER:

Sonic woke up early as usual to watch the sun rise. He then looked to elise, sleeping peacefully. He smiled at her before walking over to touch her face. He then walked out of Elise's room and into the dinning room.

"Good, morning." Bowed the maids seeing sonic walk in.

Sonic welcomed their respectful greeting, and looked at the kitchen.

"Wow, it sure smells good." Sonic said smelling the food that was being made.

"You guys better have the food ready when we come down." Sonic said giving the maids a thumbs up. Before running back to get elise.

Sonic opened the door. "Elise! Wake up." he said.

Elise opened her eyes, to see sonic right near the door.

She smiled looking at him. "Good morning sonic." She said happy to see him.

Sonic smiled and laughed a little. "Well come on, if you get ready, I'm sure the food will taste great." he said.

Elise nodded. "Okay."

"Great." Sonic said and closed the door.

Elise slowly got up from her bed to dress up into her normal clothes.

Sonic waited by Elise's door, waiting for her to come out.

He then heard the door creek, he moved out of the way just in time.

Elise closed her door and held Sonic's hand.

They both headed to the dinning room. They both sat on the chairs, waiting for their meal.

Elise and sonic both had a great breakfast that morning, enjoying the food and laughing to feel the warmth of their experience dancing.

Sonic and elise soon walked out of the castle to walk around in Soleanna for some sight seeing. Sonic then looked ahead, as if he was caught. Elise looked as well.

"Well, I thought you hated love…but I was wrong." Knuckles said grinning a bit.

Sonic felt embarrassed that he was caught in the middle, of his two friends seeing him with elise more…he thought he'd would never hear the end of being fun of for marrying the princess of Soleanna.

"Well I'm proud of you sonic!" Tails said. Sonic then stopped to think. "Hey, did you find amy anywhere, at all?" he asked.

Knuckles and Tails shook their heads.

"But she has to be somewhere in the city, I'm sure she can't stay away for this long." Tails said. Knuckles then nudged Sonic's arm. "Later…lover!" He said chuckling and ran off with tails to search for amy.

Sonic tapped his foot to the ground then turned his head to elise and smiled at her. "Well, now that's out of the way…why not we go to the forest to enjoy the flowers?"

Elise nodded in agreement. "I'd like that, with you by my side." she said.

Sonic then grabbed her hand and held her in his arms as they race onward to the forest.

FOREST:

Elise sat beside the long grass staring at all the white flowers on the tree. Sonic sat right beside her, and held her hand.

"Sonic?" Elise said.

"Yeah?" Sonic said in response looking up at her.

"Do you think, we will stay like this forever?" She said.

Sonic titled his head. "Elise, what kind of a question is that? Of course we will stay like this forever…Heh I guess being the queen now is much more harder...but I'll be with you!" He said laughing a little.

Elise laughed too. "Of course….sorry if I asked that." she said. But in the back of her mind she was too afraid to tell sonic that she was starting to feel a little sick, lately...over the past few months, mainly morning sickness.

Elise then swooned a little, holding her stomach, before placing her hand over her mouth.

Sonic heard her swoon and got up to check her. "Elise?" are you alright?" He said concerned.

Elise finally calm down and looked at sonic. "I-I'm fine, sonic." She said, trying to be strong.

"Elise, your burning up!" Sonic said touching her forehead. "Maybe we should go back to the castle, your starting to get me worried."

Elise thought it would be a good idea then, even though her time with sonic had been cut short.

Elise was lying in bed, with her maids, and a doctor to help her. Sonic paced back and forth in front of Elise's door, he was so worried that he didn't even notice tails, knuckles, and amy standing there staring at him. (by that point, tails and knuckles had found amy)

"Is something wrong sonic?" Tails asked. Amy glared at sonic, giving him the look of disgust.

"Hm, I wonder whatever is making her sick, I bet it was from you!" Amy growled, leering.

Sonic then turned his head, he was shocked to see amy was standing there. "What makes you think, I'd do anything to make her sick?!" Sonic said.

"Hmph, well maybe something is making her sick…sonic, you have been running everywhere, maybe she caught a bug or something!"

"Amy, that's enough!" Sonic said angry. "I thought you would be the one and to support me, but I was wrong, so why not you lea-"

"Sonic…" Said one of the maids, interrupting him. Sonic stopped and looked at the maid.

"Is Elise, okay?!" Sonic said his face showing guilt, staring at the maid.

The maid looked at sonic then to his friends, but she leaned back to whisper into his ear.

Sonic's eyes had widen. "WHAT?!" He said, feeling every guilty for making her have morning sickness, but his expression was pure shock.

Sonic's friends looked with confusion. The maid then bowed and closed the door to attend to elise.

Sonic stared at the door before slowly turning his head to his friends.

"what's wrong now?" Tails asked. Knuckles blinked twice.

Sonic stared at the floor, with a sweat drop on his head suddenly appearing.

"C'mon sonic, what happened now?" Knuckles asked.

Sonic then looked up, grinning a bit with awkwardness.

"I….I kinda…made her…err…pregnant." He said trying not to breakdown, in an unpleasant laughter, but he was serious.

Tails, knuckles, and amy were shocked. Amy ran out of the room. "You're a sick hedgehog!" She screamed running out of the castle.

"Wow….that's…umm…great?" Tails said, trying not to laugh at the thought, how did the princess get pregnant with a hedgehog.

Knuckles shrugged. "So what's the big deal? Now you will have mutant kids running around."

Sonic eye browed knuckles. "Well, thanks for the comforting comment, knuckles…"

"Well I know we all think this is weird, but me and knuckles support you and elise, sonic." Tails said.

"Whew, thanks buddy, at least you and knuckles are true great friends that will support me even through the craziest events." Sonic said sighing in relief.

Knuckles smiled. "heh, we've all been through worst buddy, lets just hope you can handle it."

Sonic then lifted his head. "Mmm... could you, guys leave me alone for now…I need sometime alone." Sonic said.

Tails and knuckles left. Sonic then opened Elise's door, and walked in.

Elise then opened her eyes slowly, looking at sonic. Sonic held her hand in his, staring at her.

"oh, elise…I'm glad your okay." Sonic said.

Elise giggled a bit, seeing that he was calm. "Well, this is just another step I guess…besides, I always wanted to have children of my own someday, and it looks like it happened."

"I just feel…so weird, I bet my friends think I'm weirdo now." Sonic said.

"Well, like you said to me, don't let that bother you, all that matters is that I love you." She said.

Sonic smiled a bit. "Heh, you're right." He said.

"Umm…Elise?"

Elise looked at sonic. "Yes sonic?"

"I hope this special gift…is worth your life as the queen of Soleanna." Sonic said.

"I know it will, sonic." She said. "whatever happens, I know you will come to save the day." She continued, smiling at him.

Sonic nodded and felt a lot better. "well I better let you rest, while you rest, I'll be making sure you stay safe." he said, before kissing her hand, and rushed out of room.

Elise watched sonic leave and she slowly turned her head to sleep.
