Special thanks to Artdirector123 and kirbyfan1996 for reviewing.

(The reviews are what helped me post again. Sorry for the VERY long wait. I am a master at procrastinating sadly.)

The Doctor ran for a minute or so, before they turned their final corner, where they were faced with a cyberman. The metal creature's hand was pressed against a woman's head, and the blonde crumbled to the ground in a heap, her hands clutched around a booklet she'd been holding. Susan gasped quietly to herself, her hand rising her mouth as empathy for the woman crossed her features. Somehow, it reminded her of David again.

The Doctor stepped forward, facing the cyberman.

"First question…. how did you get here?" The Doctor asked, "The next question is why are you here? It's America 1945… is there really any technology you could gain from assimilating a place like this?"

"We need humans to upgrade."

"Why these humans, then?"

"We crash landed into Sol 3 approximately 14 years…-"

"…-so the ship only received enough power from this planet, over the course of 14 years, to power up one single cyberman?"

"Correct. Now you will be upgraded." The cyberman intoned, reaching a hand toward the Doctor to touch him. Amy grabbed the back of the Doctor's suit, pulling him backwards so he wouldn't get hit.

"I don't think so… run!" the Doctor said, grabbing Amy and Susan's hand, pulling them along in his fleeing. Amy dropped the ice cream, grabbing Rory with her free hand as the all made a mad dash to small alley. Trash was littered around the abandoned backstreet.

"Grandfather, what are you planning on doing? You've got to have plan," Susan shouted.

"I've got… a thing."

"A what?"

"A thing! It's like a plan, only with more enthusiasm!" he replied indignantly. Amy couldn't help but to roll her eyes.

Behind them, the shouting of the cyberman began to get louder and louder. "DELETE. DELETE. DELETE." In one movement, the Doctor stopped in his tracks, turning to face the cyberman. "Hold on, hold on hold on. You can only convert humans, am I right? Yes, I am right. I am right because you're not one of the newer cybermen like the ones at Craig's. No, no, no…. you are older. At least older since the ones I've seen lately," he reasoned, flipping his sonic screwdriver and scanning the cyberman. "So, according to this little scan you are running some of the same code as the original which means you can still be stopped with things like gold… or cleaning fluid," he remarked speedily. Amy could barely keep up with the conversation.

"So… this should work!" When he said that, the cyberman raised its arm to fire again, but the Doctor was faster. He scooped up a jug lying on the side of the street, and tossing the contents of the pitcher at the cyberman.

The cyberman froze, before sparking slightly and losing power.

"Cleaning fluid! That takes care of that little issue," he remarked, turning back to his companions with a smile.

Amy's hand was in Rory's as usual, relief touching her features when the Doctor stopped the cyberman. "Great. Now…. Can we go get some real food? I'm starved, and just ice cream isn't that filling," the ginger remarked, breaking the few seconds of silence.

The Doctor twirled his sonic, dropping it back into the pocket of his tweed jacket. "What's wrong with ice cream?" he asked, a hint of a childish whine in his voice.

"It's not proper food, Doctor! You are not a good example to your granddaughter," Amy exclaimed, though it was clear she was simply playing.

Susan grinned," Hey, don't get me involved!" she quipped.

While the three of them bantered, Rory took the moment to walk back up the alley, going over to where the body of the victim of the cyberman was. He quickly looked her over, spotting the booklet in her hand. He wiggled it out of her clenched hand, looking it over. It was a pamphlet for a local college. He frowned slightly. She might've had a future if cyberman hadn't come along. He was glancing through the pamphlet, his hand automatically double-checking for a pulse on her wrist. Rory paused, before dropping the booklet completely.

She still had pulse.

"Doctor!" Rory shouted, already beginning to preform CPR on the woman. Within moments the Doctor was around the corner, followed closely by Amy and Susan. "Rory, what is-?" Amy began to ask, before realizing. Rory answered, still preforming CPR," Still alive, not breathing."

The Doctor rushed over to where Rory was, "We should get her into the TARDIS. Better medical equipment…"

"I'm a nurse I know what I'm doing."

"But…-"

It was that moment the blonde convulsed, suddenly taking a huge gasp of air, breathing again. Rory leaned back, sitting back on his knees.

Amy walked over, crouching beside him. "Good job, husband," she remarked, before grabbing the front of his shirt suddenly and kissing him passionately. Rory easily returned the kiss.

The Doctor opened his mouth to say something, but seemingly thought better of it because he immediately closed his mouth. Susan grinned, giggling slightly when she noticed the Doctor's reaction to it.

"Could someone please tell me what the hell is going on?"

The blonde woman had woken up, looking as if she had woken up from a strange dream only to find it was real. Amy and Rory separated from their kiss. Rory's ears were bright red, though Amy looked completely unbothered.

The blonde sat up, wincing at a headache. Susan was the first to speak," You accidently touched a live wire. You got a bit of an electric shock but you should be fine now." Susan responded, getting a glance from the Doctor because of how easily she lied. The blonde rolled her eyes, before pushing herself up into a seated position. "Don't know how I managed that. Oh well." There was a silence after she said this, before Amy changed the subject quickly.

"What's your name, then?" Amy asked, smiling in a reassuring way.

"Greta Dawson. Most just call me Bunny," she replied to Amy, rubbing her head. Bunny glanced between the members of the odd group. "Why do ya'll sound like you are all British?"

Amy frowned,"Oi, they're British. I'm Scottish," she quipped.

Bunny shrugged, "Like I would know the difference. Anyways…. I need to get back to my dorm. My friend will be worried about me if I'm not back in by evening."

Rory spoke up," Yes. Right. Just make sure you get a bit more sleep than usual. Ok?" he remarked, slightly awkward still.

Bunny nodded, before getting up, "Will do. Have fun with your little British club thing…." she commented. Within a few moments, she disappeared round the corner.

Shrugging, Rory stood back up and helped Amy up, flicking through Bunny's pamphlet again. "Apparently there's a school not far from here," Rory inquired.

"Obviously, or they're wouldn't be a pamphlet," Amy jibed.

"There's that, but I also think I found the reason why we were lead here, of all places." He pointed to a place in the leaflet, the others came over, looking at what he was pointing at.
