Whee another update, you can thank a Castle Fan for the inspiration behind this.
They rolled around the bed in a passionate frenzy, sweat glistening on their bodies. A tongue lightly grazed the valley of her breasts, causing a soft sigh to escape from her lips. The couple was pulled from their act by the shrill of a cell phone.
The woman pushed herself off the bed, stumbling across the jungle of clothes. She dug through her purse, pushing her blonde curls out of her face, still gasping for air.
"Hello?" she answers, clearly out of breath.
"Hannah?" she hears a familiar voice answers, "Are you working out?"
"Uh, yeah. Yoga. So what's up?"
"Well considering I'm your husband, and you haven't called me for a week, I just want to make sure you're not dead in a ditch somewhere." he said with a small laugh.
Hannah begins to walk back across the room to her lover, Bryce. Her cameraman.
She sits back down on the bed, signaling silently for him to be quiet. She moves her hand blindly behind her, accidentally stroking him, evoking a loud groan from the man.
"What was that?"
Brennan's POV
Brennan exited the building containing her yoga class. She hadn't been lying when she had told Booth that she was going to yoga. She needed time to relieve stress and clear her mind.
She still was not enjoying their current situation, she felt guilty for limiting a man his rights to his child. However, she just couldn't find the capability to leave her child in the care of a woman she doesn't trust.
Brennan pulled out phone, texting Angela that she was on her way to pick up her daughter. And with that, she started her Mercedes, and drove off into the Chicago skyline.
Hannah's POV
'Shit.' she thought, Booth's lingering silence indicating he knew what was really up.
"Look, Seeley..." she started.
"Save it, Hannah. We're through, you'll have the papers by next week."
Hannah felt guilt for a moment, but then it was gone, because she knew that this was for the best.
Placing her phone on the bedside, she returned her attention to Bryce.
Booth's POV
He chucks his phone at wall with a growl. He had been looking for a way out of this marriage, but he wasn't expecting Hannah's betrayal to be the light at the end of the tunnel.
His anger soon passed, and he felt relief. He could tell Brennan of his newfound freedom, and hopefully she could change his visiting schedule with their daughter.
Grabbing a spare box from his closet, he rapidly began to throw the small amount of Hannah's things that had been placed in his apartment incase she came to visit after he moved, into it.
Booth wanted to remove all trace evidence of her betraying ass from his life, so that he could begin rebuilding it from the ground up.
He carried the now full box to the space next to his front door, mentally planning to take it to the post office the next day.
Grabbing a bottle of his finest import booze, he twisted off the metal cap, and mentally toasted to the beginning of his new life.
Brennan's POV
With her child asleep in her crib, Brennan returned to her study, where she was finishing the latest chapter of her newest novel. She was still uneasy about her feelings regarding her situation with Booth, and that made her uncomfortable.
She had despised him so much, then it was like that switch was turned off, and the one craving his person had set in. However, someone stood in the way, someone who would probably be standing in the way for a very long time.
She pushed herself up from her desk chair, beginning to walk towards her bedroom, when there was a knock on her door.
Curious, she checked the peephole, and was taken aback by the familiar face of her partner. She opened the door for him, but what she didn't know, was that what he was about to say, was going to change everything.
"Hannah and I broke up."
So, yeah. Is there light at the end of the tunnel now? Even I'm still not sure. Review?
