"Where are we going, Jack?" Rapunzel asked curiously, clutching Jack's blue hoodie. "I don't know. I guess we could just land here." Jack replied. "Oh, okay!" Rapunzel chirped. As they landed, they heard voices approaching. "Jack! What was that?" Rapunzel asked, frightened. "Shhhh, I don't know." Jack whispered back, raising his staff. They couldn't have known that Merida and Hiccup were nearby; now they were good friends. "So, you have a dragon?" Merida asked excitedly. "Yeah, his name's Toothless." Hiccup answered proudly. "Where is he?" Merida looked around, confused. "Well, I wanted to give him a chance to explore. But, if you want to meet him, I could just call him. Do you want to meet him?" "Yes, please!" Merida did a little jump from all her excitement. Hiccup chuckled. "All right, then!" He whistled like you would whistle to a dog. "Toothless! Come here!" Meanwhile, Jack and Rapunzel heard something flapping its wings. "AHHHHHHHHHH!" Rapunzel shrieked pointing. "What? What is it?" Jack looked around nervously. "D-" Rapunzel stuttered. "D-d-" "Spit it out!" Jack exclaimed. "DRAGON!" Rapunzel screamed, ducking. "Oh my go-" Jack was cut off as he ducked just in time under the landing dragon. Rapunzel latched herself onto Jack, trembling badly from fear. "There you are, Toothless!" Hiccup exclaimed. "Oh. My. GOSH!" Merida shrieked. "A dragon! Can I touch him?" She asked Hiccup. "Yeah, sure! He's friendly!" "Is this your dragon?" Jack asked. "Yep." Hiccup replied happily. "I-is he going to hurt us?" Rapunzel asked, not letting go of Jack, but pointing her frying pan in Toothless's direction, shaking. "He's amazing!" Merida whispered, her breath taken away. She began to scratch Toothless in his favorite spot on his belly, making his eyes become half-lidded as he flopped over on his side. Jack and Rapunzel began to cautiously approach the beast, Jack curious, Rapunzel already hugging it. "I'm Hiccup." Hiccup greeted them cheerfully, extending his hand. "I'm Jack Frost and this is my friend, Rapunzel." Jack shook his hand, Hiccup jumping from the sudden cold. "Oh my gosh!" Merida perked up upon hearing this. "This day just keeps on getting better and better! THE Jack Frost?" "Yep. The one and only." Jack answered, flattered. "I'm Merida!" "Nice to meet you guys!" Rapunzel said. Just then, Merida noticed Rapunzel's long, long, long golden hair. "Your hair is beautiful!" Merida said, leaving Toothless and walking over to stroke her hair. "Thanks! I love your hair, too!" Rapunzel said, truthfully. She had never seen hair quite like Merida's. "Girls." Jack mumbled to Hiccup. "Yeah. I know, right?" Hiccup responded. "So, anyway, cool dragon!" "Thanks! His name's Toothless!" Hiccup grinned. "Hey! I've got an idea!" Rapunzel suddenly perked up. "Why don't we all go exploring together? That way we can get to know each other a lot better!" "Sure!" The other three all chimed in. Toothless nodded excitedly, nuzzling Rapunzel with his nose. "Looks like Toothless likes you!" Hiccup said. Rapunzel could only giggle, her heart swelling with love for her new friends.
