I FINALLY GOT A B IN HISTORY! So I'm in a mood for a long chapter, how about you? Warning: Abusive scene in Percy's Pov. It will be in italics.
Jason
San Francisco, California 9:15
A four-year old Jason heard screaming outside his bedroom door. The only person that could be screaming would be his cousin, whose bedroom was down the hallway. He quickly ran out of his room to see two men and one woman dressed in black and had his cousin tied up by his wrists and ankles. His cousin looked at him with scared sea-green eyes, his raven hair still a mess like it always is. One of the men wrapped his hand around the his cousin's mouth to silence the screaming.
"NO!" Jason yelled. The people looked at him startled. The woman pulled a gun and aimed it at Jason. He began trembling.
"Don't hurt him." Jason whimpered at the woman. He didn't want these people to hurt his cousin.
"Τι κάνεις!"One of the men yelled.*
"Μπορεί να πει κάποιος!" She yelled back.**
"Θα πρέπει να τον αρπάξει πάρα πολύ." The first man told the second.***
"ΟΧΙ! έχει δύο παιδιά στην κατοχή μας θα επιστήσει την προσοχή στους εαυτούς μας." The second man told the first.****
"Όπως έχει ο γιος του βασιλιά δεν θα επιστήσει την προσοχή στους εαυτούς μας." The woman yelled at the men.*****
"I hear people coming." The first man said. The woman grabbed Jason's shirt and brought him to her eye level, still aiming the gun at him still.
"Tell the King hello from the Eye of Kronos." She said with a sly smile.
"And he will never see his son again."
Jason awoke in cold sweat. His mouth was dry and he had to catch his breath.
"Hey man, you okay?" asked his friend Leo. Jason just looked at his friend who was sitting on a beanbag chair and had recently paused the video game he was playing. Jason shook his head at his friend.
"That dream again?" Jason nodded.
"Find out your "cousin's" name?"
"No." He said once he caught his breath. He knew the kid in his dream is his cousin, he just couldn't put a name to the face. "They just speak a weird language then tell me to tell the king that his son is gone and then I wake up."
"You should tell Mom about it." Jason chuckled, Leo lived with him so long that he called his mom, Mom.
"And have her laugh at me, no thanks."
"You don't know that. Maybe she knows who your cousin is."
"It's just a dream."
"Dreams are sometimes memories you know. Jason, does your mom ever tell you stories from your childhood?" Leo asked with a raised eyebrow.
"What are you purposing?"
"In the dream, your cousin is son of the "King" right?"
"Yeah..."
"So if he's your cousin, and son of the King, that means you are royal. Only if the dream is true of course."
Jason raised his eyebrows at his adopted brother. Leo just went back to playing Call of Duty. He sighed and got dressed. One of the perks of being home schooled by your parent.
"BREAKFAST BOYS!" Called his mother.
"WOOHOO!" Leo yelled as he ran down stairs. Soon Jason and Leo were scarfing down waffles and eggs.
"Does Jason have a cousin?" Jason did a spit take with his water.
"Dude! I told you not to tell her!"
"Well I'm curious."
"It was just a dream Leroy."
"I told you not to call me tha-"
"What dream?" Leo stopped mid sentence and they both looked at a stern looking Ms. Grace.
"Jason had a dream about a raven haired, sea-green eyed boy who was kidnapped and Jason thinks it was his cousin." Jason glared at Leo as he explained the same thing he told Leo about the dream years ago. Then he heard his mother sigh. They looked at her to see her tired and tears in her eyes.
"Mom, do I have a cousin?" Jason studied his mother closely. She never cried, but she was, her chocolate-brown eyes leaking droplets. Her blond curls bounced when she nodded.
"You...you do have a cousin." She looked between a shocked Jason and a curious Leo. "It's time I told you the truth about your heritage. Both of you." Jason and Leo looked at each other.
"Mom, what are you saying?"
"Your father is the brother of King Poseidon. Leo you are the son of Prince Hephaestus. You two were put in the Royalty Protection Program, or RPP for short, when Poseidon's son was kidnapped. You were only four Jason. You were visiting your Uncle when it happened. Your fathers wanted you to go into hiding and Poseidon agreed, so he created the RPP to protect younger members of the family. They are all spread across the country. Leo, you have a half-sister in Ohio, and a half-brother in Montana, and a full brother in Oklahoma. And Jason, Thalia is your real sister. You have another uncle, his name is Hades, he has a son named Nico, he lives in New York, where Thalia is stationed with your father."
"So you guys are together?" Jason asked hopefully.
"Yes, we are in love, but all couples had to split to add more protection. If we were seen together, people would recognize us. You may not remember, but when you were five, we were in Lubbock, Texas, where we adopted Leo. A man had found out who we were and he was working for our enemies, luckily we were able to move away before you two were taken." She said, putting a hand on Leo's hand.
"Leo, your mother is alive. She's in the Kingdom's hospital. She's in a coma, but alive and made a full recovery." Leo took a deep breath.
"My mom's alive." He had tears running down his cheeks. "She's alive." He took some breaths. "Alive."
"Yes Leo, alive. And Poseidon's wife was stationed in salt lake City, Utah. We were all stationed in different states and city's, any place that Poseidon's son could be. Even if it was a dead-end. Calypso and Piper are royal too. Piper is the daughter of Princess Aphrodite, and Calypso is the daughter of King Atlas."
"But isn't Atlas and Poseidon arch-enemies?" Asked Leo.
"No, not after the kidnapping. The Eye of Kronos, the ones that took your cousin, also took Atlas's oldest daughter. Atlas came to Poseidon demanding his daughter back because he thought he took her as ransom, but when Poseidon explained what happened about his son to him, and they formed an alliance to get their children back. In fact they were planning on uniting the kingdoms with their children, but instead of arranging a wedding between two of their children, they waited for two of you to fall in love. Leo, that's you and Calypso, but only if you two stay together. But I don't see that as a problem because all I see is true love in your eyes when you look at her." Leo turned a bright shade of pink.
"Is there anyone else in the RPP?" Jason really wanted to know.
"Yes. It is run by your father. He not only protects the children of Atlantis, Olympus, or Orthrus, but all the descendants of any royal family. Even if we are enemies. That's why there's been fewer wars between kingdoms than countries. Poseidon and Atlas didn't want anyone else to have to go through the lost they felt. They even connected their program with the Witness Protection Program."
"Who else is there that had to be protected from the Eye of Kronos?" Leo raised his eyebrows.
"Daughter of Athena, she was stationed over here, but someone found her and they had to go to New York."
"Why aren't you telling us any names?" Jason pushed. "We can help." Leo nodded in agreement.
"I'm sorry but I can't. If I do and they capture you, they could ask you who's where, I risked enough telling you what I already did. I don't want to lose any of you. You two are my sons. May or may not by birth, but I helped raise you, I don't know what I'll do without you two."
"Can you at least tell us who is Poseidon's and Atlas's children that are missing?" Leo looked at her with big, hopeful eyes.
"Their names are Zoë Nightshade and Perseus Jackson."
Zoë
'Run. I have to keep running!' She thought as her feet made a thump, thump, thump, across the concrete sidewalk. Her long dark hair flying behind her, her brown eyes held fear, but also determination. 'I have to find him.' She turned a corner to find a dead-end. When she turned back around to see a man standing there in a black cloak. She snarled at him. She could see the back of his hand perfectly when he placed it over the tilt of his shielded sword. it had a tattoo of an eye with a gold iris, the symbol of Kronos.
"My, my, why isn't it my little old girlfriend. Good to see you again Zoë. Miss me?" His voice held a boasting tone.
"I don't know who you are." She growled.
"We dated for a week. Remember? Or do you not remember throwing me off you when I tried to be the perfect boyfriend and give you the pleasure you oh, so, deserved."
"Hercules." She hissed. The man threw back his hood to reveal a seventeen year old with blond hair, striking blue eyes, and a scar from his ear to the edge of his mouth.
"Ah, so you do remember. Good, good. Do you also remember when you gave me this scar. Well, I followed you so I could return a favor." Then he took out his sword and swung at her. She ducked and ran out of the dead-end alley. She screamed help as she ran. Luckily cop was near to hear. He got out of his car and ran over to her and caught her before she could run past him. He looked around and could see no one.
"Are you alright sweety-pie?" He asked. "Who are you?"
"I'm Zoë, daughter of King Atlas of Orthrus, and I know where King Poseidon's lost son is." Then she fainted in his arms. He dragged her to the police car and buckled her up. He used the computer in the car to search her up.
Zoë Nightshade, the eldest daughter of King Atlas, age 8, went missing late October, 1997, from the Orthrus kingdom. The same night King Poseidon's youngest son, age 4, Perseus Jackson went missing. Said be unknown witnesses, there was one woman and two men dressed in black. Witnesses say that they called themselves "The Eye of Kronos" after the first king of Olympus before King Zeus' attack on his own father. The FBI believe that they are hoping to make what former King Kronos once called it, "The Golden Age."
The officer looked at the girl in the passenger seat.
"I hope you're telling the truth, or else the royal family will be devastated."
Percy
Percy sat outside the school rocking back and forth. The memory of the weekend catching up to him. He was hoping to forget about it. He felt the memories collapsing, he could feel them again. 'No.' He shook his head. 'Stop. Stop...stop.'
"STOP!" Percy yelled when Gabe was about to hit him for the fifth time for forgetting to do the laundry. "Please." Percy whimpered. Gabe tightened his grip on the kid.
"Whimpering like a weakling." Gabe snarled. "I thought I taught you to be a MAN!" He threw Percy onto the floor. He started undoing his belt and got a good grip on one end, as the end with the belt buckle left dangling. Percy tried to get up, then he felt the pain before he heard the crack of the leather against his back. He came back crashing onto the floor. He took shaky breaths to try to control the pain.
"I guess I have to teach you again." Percy cried out in pain when he felt the next whipping. He covered his neck and head with his hands the best he could. Tears were streaming down his face like rivers. He flinched when he heard a crash of a beer bottle near his head.
"Next time I won't miss with the bottle. You hear me." Percy stayed silent.
"Well, DO YOU!"
"YES! Yes I heard you." Percy managed to squeak out. Gabe then kicked him in the stomach and left.
"Don't forget to make my dinner slave!" That's all Gabe ever called him, weakling or slave, sometimes brat or bastard. He wished he could tell someone, but Gabe threatened to kill them if he did. Percy didn't know if Gabe was capable of doing that, but he didn't want to find out.
Percy awoke to someone calling his name. It was Thalia.
No one's POV
In a kingdom, on an island just mere miles from the USA border, in the Atlantic Ocean, a man was pacing, waiting for someone. He was tall, broad shoulders, his eyes seemed to reflect the seven seas, and his hair was as dark as the deepest abyss in the ocean. He stopped and turned to another man who walked in the throne room. This man was about five inches taller than the other, black volcanic hair, cropped in a military style, and his red, fiery eyes that once held evil, now held sadness.
"You called for my presence King Poseidon?"
"Yes Atlas. They found your daughter in Kirksville, Missouri. She is under the FBI's 24 hour surveillance. She's okay." Atlas had to take a step back as he clutched his heart. He had tears on his eyes.
"Is she really ok?" Poseidon went up to his friend and held onto his shoulders.
"Yes. Yes she is." The Atlas then became confused.
"What about your son? He wasn't with her...was he?" Poseidon shook his head.
"No, but the officer who found her said that she said she knows where he is before she past out for exhaustion." Atlas hugged his friend.
"We're going to have our children back. We'l finally be a family again."
"Indeed. We will."

Was that chapter longer than the others? I don't think so, but this is only the begining of the story.
