Cursed Fate

"Mage? Stop uttering such nonsense!" The whipped snapped down onto me once more, though I couldn't feel the pain anymore, I could hear the sharp snap it made. My father was not pleased when he found out I went to Fairy Tail and tried to join it.

"Dear, you should stop now." My mother placed her hand on my father's. At first glance, it might seem like the action of a caring mother, however I knew this woman was not like that, "It'll be a waste to just let our talented son, die like that..." She chuckled.

"Oh, of course..." Finally the shackled around my wrists were unlocked and my powerless body just fell to the ground. I wanted to sit upright, but could not gather the strength to do so.

"...Yushiro..." Yamato whimpered.

"Ooh! Look at all that blood!" My siblings laughed as they were watching my punishment.

"Will he be alright?"

"A member of the Touga does not die this easily." My father snorted as he started to walk out of the room along with mother. And my siblings followed soon after.

I clenched my teeth in frustration, an attempt to keep my tears from falling, though it failed. I cursed my fate.

"Yushiro?" I woke up from my dream. Yamato tilted his head to the side, "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine..." I looked forward. We were in an abandoned shack, far from Magnolia. Lucy Heartfilia, mage of Fairy Tail sat tied to the chair across from me. She was a Celestial mage and without her keys, useless. The pink guild mark on her right hand caught my eye. I quickly put my thoughts aside.

"Ngh..." The blonde mage mumbled. She started slowly, but shot her eyes open when she realized she was tied. "What!?" Lucy gasped as her eyes move to my direction. "Who are you!?"

"..."

"Natsu!? Where's Natsu!?"

"Worrying about your comrade in your situation? Foolish aren't you?" I snorted.

"Why did you take me!? What's your motive!?" She scowled.

I glared, "Better consider the position you are in before demanding answers from me..." I walked up to her and slammed the chair she was tied to against the wall. I could see the fear in her eyes as I revealed the silver dagger I hid in my sleeves to her and put it against her neck.

"What's the matter...?"

"Ngh..."

"Yushiro! You're doing to much!" Yamato's cry snapped me out of it.

The blonde let out a soft whimper as I finally released her. A small sliver was made on her neck as blood trickled down from it.

"Tch..." I quickly slid the dagger back into my sleeve.

"W-what are you...?" This girl was tough. Despite her fear, she continued to ask questions.

"Touga," I started, "The Assassin Clan, Touga. I have received a mission to kill one of you, Fairies."

I expected her to show more fear; though instead, Lucy Heartfilia's eyes burned with rage. She attempted to grin despite her trembling lips.

"I wouldn't underestimate Fairy Tail. Deal with one; you're up against the entire Guild."

"'Nakama', huh?" I whispered. It was then I heard something outside; from the roof!?

A giant hole was cut from the roof in an instant and small wood shards rained down on us. The moon shone down into the hole slightly blinding me, though I could still make out a human figure lunging towards me.

"Haaah!" A female voice cried as she swung down her sword onto me.

Sliding my daggers to my hands, I blocked the attack, deflecting it. The female's red hair flowed behind her; I knew immediately who this mage was.

"Erza!" Lucy smiled.

Erza Scarlet! For a second, I was hap... No. I was her enemy, I have focus!

The armoured mage pointed her blade in my direction, "Those who hurt my fellow mages of Fairy Tail... I will not forgive!" Then the armour she wore shone brightly as it transformed into a new one. An all-black armour with dark wings sprouted on the back.

"Kureha no Yoroi!" Erza glared, "Prepare yourself!"
