Epilogue
Sixteen-year-old Annie Cresta emerged from the 70th Hunger Games changed. She was quiet and could barely string a sentence together.
She was greeted by her coaches, Finnick and Mags, who were both surprised and happy to see her.
District 4 had its third ever female victor.
No one thought about the female District 1 tribute who had fought so hard. People would remember the flooded arena, the high death rate on the first day, how short the games were and how a nothing from district 4 had won.
As with all the fallen tributes, their parents would mourn, they would be mentioned in the victory tour, but then they would be forgotten.
