Sorry long time no update~ I have explanation soo, enjoy~
"Alistair ! just admit that we are lost!" Aiden yelled in between his breath as he tried to catch up with his brothers who are far ahead of him already. Alistair looked behind and saw Aiden, He just snorted at him and took long faster strides with Gavin and Sean snickering at Aiden and decided to follow Alistair's lead. The three brothers heard a cry of profanities towards them and they just laughed harder at their brother's pitiful situation. Now, not only is he tired but also currently being eyed by a boar. Quite dangerous, they know, but nothing is impossible for them, or so they believe. Gavin threw a spear towards Aiden and told him to handle the situation himself as the three watch at the sidelines. Aiden fumed at what they are doing but he won't back down from a fight, especially one that could wound his pride.
The boar charged towards Aiden, Aiden made a move to dodge and grabbed his knives by his pocket and threw 3 towards the boar. It hit 2 of its legs. Though the boar seems to be very stubborn and decided to charge again in a slower motion, thus allowing Aiden to jump over it and spear its tail after doing this, he then took hold of the nearest branch, climbed it and took out his bow and arrow and aimed it at the boar's neck. He could have finished the boar with the spear but he wanted to make impressive movements just for the sake of it. Hearing then a shout of 'show off ' from Sean simply added as a bonus. He turned his head towards his brothers with a smug smile. Forgetting about his tired body, he ran towards his brothers and gave Gavin his spear with a shove and with one swift motion, punching Sean and Alistair at the shoulder which caused an entire fight to begin between the three with Gavin watching at the sidelines, looking up.
How long has it been since that day? 10 years….. I just hope they managed to escape out of pure luck as infants, that some travelers or town folks saw them and raised them as their own.
In town :
"Sister, we should buy father some bread too! I'm sure he is hungry, it's almost noon and lunch is fast approaching, maybe a little appetizer for father before he eats his packed lunch from mum won't hurt." Alice mentioned as they were already buying their bread from the bakery.
"Yea, let's go do that. I have to visit father anyways and ask for some tips." "tips on what?" Alice chipped in curiously whilst looking at Natalia.
"Just pay for the bread already so that we could already go to father's working place." Natalia grumbled walking away "Wait! Let's buy mum some tea! We're running low on supplies-" she took off towards the tea shop "probably because of you." Natalia looked at her sister with Alice whining "Awww that's meeaannnnnnn Taliiiaaaa" "hurry up then so that we could pass by the tea store or whatever you may think we may need so that we could see father already." "Ok Talia" as she hurriedly ran through the crowd with Natalia trying in vain not to lose sight of her sister.
By the end of the chase, Natalia was catching her breath while glancing at her giddy sister march up directly to the tea shop to purchase the tea leaves. Huffing with determination, she followed Alice. The door opened with a clang of a bell from above, indicating that there was a customer. She was bombarded with the aroma of different tea leaves from different places and complimentary food to those who wish to have a little snack here. All in all, it was a great relaxing spot, with someone playing the piano and idle chatter here and there with pleasantries shared in between. She allowed herself to relax seeing as her sister would be taking her time in picking her oh so precious tea leaves. She sat down at the nearest vacant table available. As she was just enjoying the music and watching her sister here and there picking tea leaves and asking the shop keeper about this and that, she heard the chair beside her scrape the floor. She looked to her left and saw a boy about a year older than her, with platinum blonde hair swept to the side, grayish blue eyes, pale skin and a handsome face to summarize it all, for a boy that is. She then wondered what he was doing here alone and with no parents, well, that's kind of hypocrite to say considering she was at the same situation too but still. Then the boy spoke "Mind if I sit here?" in a different accent that she can't point out though, most likely from the eastern Kingdoms. "Y-yes" she couldn't help but stutter after hearing him. Though she asked out of curiosity " What are you doing here all alone? I mean I'm not one that should be saying that either but still" she just couldn't help it now, can she? Now she became flustered. The boy laughed at her thus making her blush and he tried to stifle his laughter after seeing her red face. "Well, thought I'd come drop by and buy some tea leaves for my mum, though I can't do that with the shop keeper occupied since I don't really know what type of tea leaves to get. She seems pretty busy with that girl over there who looks like you." She just snickered at his pitiful state, seeing that it was her sister that he just referred to. "Anyways, I believe I didn't get to introduce myself, how rude of me, my name is Pavel." He smiled towards her "and my name is Natalia, by the way, I am in the same situation as you that is, though I'm not waiting for the shop keeper to be done, seeing as my sister is already picking the tea leaves for me while hogging up the shop keeper's attention from you." She couldn't help but laugh as he pouted. "but if you want, I know a decent number of tea leaves in this place also in regards to its history and its taste. I could help you pick your choice. That is if you want me to help." She offered him a smile in return. " That would be greatly appreciated, thank you Natalia." He stood up from his chair and waited for Natalia to begin her tour among the vast numbers of tea leaves.
Alice was just about done in picking her tea leaves when she thought that maybe Natalia would want some kind of tea leaf, something different from her usual. As she scanned the tables looking for Natalia and seeing she wasn't there caused a huge wave of panic attack on little Alice until she heard laughter in the other room filled with tea leaf selection. She glanced by the doorway and saw her sister enjoying herself with a boy. She left her sister be, since all she wanted for her was to be happy and this boy seems to be providing the thing she needs, at least temporarily.
She went back to her task into finalizing the tea leaves she was to buy.
"So, how do you know these many tea leaves? You said only you know a decent, not all!" Natalia couldn't help the smirk that came to her face." If you live with a sister and a mother who drinks tea like it's their water, then you have to know the tea leaves they drink." Looking at Pavel in then at the basket of leaves he is currently carrying. "I think this is enough to for the entire town to drink, so I guess we should head to the counter." he warily gazed at his basket full of leaves. "Do you even drink tea Pavel?" asked Natalia trying to picture Pavel drinking tea in a sophisticated manner before bursting into a fit of laughter. "What the?! Why the fuck are you laughing?! And if you do know I do drink tea, but not as much as my mother, I'm fine with tea but I just don't drink it too much. " he heartily glared at Natalia. "J- ju-ju-just ca-can't pi-picture you d-drinking tea." She laughed even harder. Pavel sighed and went straight for the counter, leaving the girl who was trying to catch her breath from laughing.
Once she stopped laughing, she followed Pavel at the counter whom was waiting at beside her sister, obviously done paying seeing as she saw Pavel's leaves in a single jar. She was supposed to ask Alice how did it go until she saw not one but three jars full of tea leaves in her single basket. Compared to the single jar that was only half full from Pavel, her sister's was filled to the brim. "Alice, is it really necessary to have that many tea leaves?" cautiously eyeing the jars. "Of course! We must never run out of tea! What happens if there is a storm and we are stuck? With no tea?! The horror of it all!" she gasped with a horrified look on her face. Natalia couldn't help but just slam her head at the counter which just so happens to be beside her. Pavel looked at her in a comical way "You know, just let it be. Right?" she stuck her tongue towards Pavel. "Bless your poor soul." And they just both laughed, for what reason, a simple reason. They don't know.
After paying for the tea, Pavel, Natalia and Alice said their farewells after a bit more chatting and introducing in Pavel and Alice's part. Natalia and Alice then head out to their father's shop with tea and bread in their basket.
At the edge of the forest, near town
"We should be nearing the town now, they mentioned a name who seems to be really famous for his works. What's his name again?" Alistair tried to remember. " I believe he name was Donald." Gavin tried to recall, making sure the name was accurately correct. "Aye , it is." Aiden said. "I heard he was a good family man and a friend of the town." Alistair looked at Aiden's statement amused. "He must be known around the folks then, I guess it won't be that hard to look for him. If he's famous we could ask someone from town. They'll obviously know at least where he is." Sean stated, playing a game with himself by avoiding all the tree roots which was soon joined by Aiden, which started a competition between the two. "Well, if we want to finish before dusk, we better quicken our pace and stop fooling around!" Alistair looked at Sean and Aiden causing an argument between the three with Gavin ignoring them.
