Rosie awoke to a soft bed. "Grell?" She looked around at the large room and remembered. "Oh, right…" She stood, accidentally stepping on a white rose petal. Rosie sighed. "He didn't have to put the damn things everywhere."

Looking out a window, Rosie concluded it was sometime in the afternoon. 'I must've taken a nap.' She thought. 'After all, I didn't get any sleep last night.' There was a soft knock at the door.

"Miss Eason." Rosie recognized the voice as Mr. Faustus. "Are you awake?"

"Yeah." Rosie nodded. "You can come in, I guess." The door opened and Mr. Faustus made his way in.

"I assume you had a nice rest." He spoke, standing as rigid as a statue.

"I guess." Rosie shrugged. "I slept for a while, didn't I?"

"Yes." Mr. Faustus nodded. "If you will, please follow me downstairs. Alois is waiting for you."

"Okay." Rosie followed Mr. Faustus out of the room and down the stairs to a room with a round dining table. Alois smiled at the sight of Rosie.

"Rosie!" He said, getting up. "How was your rest?"

"It was alright." Rosie smiled. "Thanks for asking."

"Come. Sit." Alois motioned for the silver-haired maid to pull out a chair at the opposite end of the table for Rosie.

"Oh, sure." She sat down. "Thank you, Miss…"

"Hannah." The maid smiled at the polite gesture.

"Hannah, huh?" Rosie smiled. "I had a friend in elementary school who had the name Hannah. She was pretty cool." She giggled. The triplets in the corner whispered something to each other.

"So, Rosie." Alois got Rosie's attention. "How long do you plan on staying?"

"I didn't really plan on staying in the first place." Rosie admitted. In all truth, she wanted to go home. She was only afraid of what would happen if she did.

"What do you mean?" Alois looked slightly hurt.

"I mean…" She paused. "Like, I wasn't planning on staying because I didn't think I was coming here until Mr. Faustus asked me too."

"I told him too." Alois said simply.

"Sorry?" Rosie blinked in confusion.

"I told him to bring you here." Alois explained.

"Weird…" Rosie muttered. "Alright then. I've got a question for you: How did you know I ran away?"

"I've been watching you." Alois was surprisingly nonchalant.

"Yeah, that doesn't make you sound like a stalker." Rosie said sarcastically, trying to hide her fear. Now, she really wanted to go home. "No, sir. Not at all." She sort of wished Grell would come and take her home.

Suddenly, a loud crash resounded from the room outside. "What was that?" Alois looked frantically towards the door. Even Rosie jumped.

"I will investigate." Mr. Faustus said. "Hannah, guard our lord and Miss Eason." He then left, the triplets following.

"What in the heck?" Rosie frowned.

"I hope it isn't anything too serious." Alois frowned. Another crash.

"Do you think they're okay?" Rosie felt concerned.

"They'll be alright, I'm sure." Hannah tried to comfort the ginger.

"Where is she?" A yelling voice demanded. Rosie stiffened. She knew that voice.

"Grell?" She stood, half in shock, half with the desire to run out of the room.

"What?" Alois growled, slamming his fist on the table.

Outside, Grell had Claude pinned against the wall, the chainsaw revving. "I'll ask you again." Grell growled. "Where the hell is my Rosie?" Claude glared, not giving any answer. "Damn you!"

"Grell!" Rosie cried, running out of the room.

"Wait!" Alois screamed, following Rosie. "Rosie!" Grell turned his head, jumping away from the demon. The chainsaw's revving died down.

"Darling?" Grell's eyes widened as Rosie threw her arms around him.

"Grell." Rosie cried. "Oh god I can't believe it's you!"

"It's me, dear." Grell smiled, wrapping his arms tightly around Rosie.

"Grell, I want to go home." Rosie looked up at him, her eyes filled with tears of joy.

"Then let's go home." Grell gently took her hand in his and they began walking away.

"Hold on!" Alois growled. Grell turned his head, a look of anger on his face.

"I don't need to 'hold on' for a brat like you." Grell snapped. "You tried to take my Rosie away! In my eyes, you'd be better off dead!" He picked Rosie up, carrying her bridal-style. "Now, if you'll excuse me." Grell looked at Rosie as he neared a window. "Hang on tight, dear." Rosie nodded. She yelped in surprise as Grell jumped out the window.

As he landed, Grell gently kissed Rosie's hair. "I'm so happy I found you, my dear." Grell smiled as he began walking.

"I am too." Rosie leaned her head against Grell. "I'm sorry I lied to you."

"It's alright, dear." Grell gave her a comforting squeeze. "But I need to know, why? Why did you leave?" Rosie didn't answer right away.

"I…" She paused, then decided Grell needed to know. "I wanted… to get away from you." Grell stopped.

"Why, sweetie?" He asked, looking hurt.

"You… you scared me." Rosie said, looking down. "You scared me so many times. I just couldn't handle it anymore."

"Oh, princess. I'm sorry." Grell jumped onto a rooftop.

"I am too." Rosie frowned, looking back up at Grell, who seemed focused as he jumped to another one. "Do you think anyone ever sees you?" She asked, deciding to change the subject. "You know, when you go roof-hopping."

"Some people probably do." Grell smiled.

"Alright." Rosie smiled. She closed her eyes, drifting off into sleep until Grell startled her awake.

"We're here, sweetie." Rosie opened her eyes. They were back in her room. Grell gently put Rosie down as she noticed that he had changed once again.

"Hey, Grell."

"Yes, love?"

"How do you do that?" Rosie asked. "That changing your appearance thingy?"

"It's something us Reapers can do." Grell explained. "We can change whenever we want."

"That sounds pretty cool." Rosie smiled, walking towards the door. As she opened it and began to leave, she paused. "Aren't you coming?"

"I told your mother I'd be gone for a while." Grell admitted. "I went to look for you, and it would be odd if I showed up in the home suddenly."

"Ma wouldn't care." Rosie smiled. "She's not very observant. You could just say that you came back a few minutes ago."

"I suppose." Grell gently took Rosie hand, holding it. "I missed you so much, darling."

"I missed you too." Rosie felt guilt overtake her. "I'm sorry."

"Don't worry about it now, dear." Grell smiled. "Shall we go downstairs?"

"Sure." Rosie nodded. They stiffened as they heard Rosie's mother yelling.

"Grell!" She shouted. "Are you back yet?" She sounded rather angered.

"Stay here." Grell whispered. Rosie nodded as Grell timidly walked down the rest of the stairs.

"Yes, Miss Eason?" He asked, feigning fright.

"Where were you just now?" Miss Eason asked, annoyed. "I didn't hear the door open."

"I came back a few minutes ago." Grell lied.

"Oh, really?" Miss Eason frowned, a hateful glare in her eyes. "Because a few minutes ago, two men by the names of Ciel and Sebastian were just here, and they told me all about you." She paused. "And my daughter."

"Miss Eason," Grell tried to sound confused. "what are you talking about?"

"You know what I'm talking about!" Miss Eason snapped. "What the hell is a Grim Reaper?" Rosie stiffened. So Ciel was alright! Thank god…

"Miss Eason, please…" Grell took a step towards the woman.

"No!" Miss Eason took a step back. "I know what you've been doing with my daughter!"

"Oh?" Grell was losing his patience. "Then what have I been doing?"

"You were the one who killed all those boys!" Miss Eason growled. "You're the one who made my daughter cry and run away from home!" Her fists clenched. "You get out! Get out of our house and never come-

"I'm afraid I can't do that, Christina." Grell growled, cutting off Miss Eason. Christina's eyes widened as a chainsaw appeared in Grell's hands. "No one will ever separate me from Rosie!" He cried, revving the chainsaw. Rosie watched on in horror.

"Mom!" She cried as Grell ran the chainsaw through her mother's stomach. "Mommy!" Rosie ran over as the revving stopped. Her mother laid there on the floor, a pool of blood gathering around her body. "The hell was that for?" Rosie shouted, tears flowing from her eyes.
