A/N: As usual, thanks for all the amazing reviews. Without them, I don't think I'd be able to continue with this. So I hope you will all love this next chapter as much as the previous ones.

Disclaimer: You guessed it, Aaron and Jack Hotchner are not my property, but everyone else in this chapter is!

A man with a surf board had walked past Jack and Hotch. Jack and Hotch saw this as an opportunity as their next prank.

"What do you think buddy? Should we scare him with a little shark story?" Hotch asked with a smile.

"Mmhm." Jack returned the smile.

The two of them had caught up to the man. The man was about to enter the water with his surf board, until he heard someone.

"Hi! I'm Aaron! Are you from around here?" Hotch held out his hand for the man to shake.

The man shook Hotch's hand and replied with, "Hello, nice to meet you. My name is Elliot. I'm not from here. Just on vacation with my wife and kids. We're from New Mexico."

"You're on vacation too? So is my son and I. This is my son, his name's Jack." Hotch pointed at Jack.

"Hi." Jack greeted Elliot.

"Hello there." Elliot smiled at Jack. "And where are you from?"

"D.C." Jack answered.

"You going surfing?" Hotch asked.

"I sure am. My wife took the kids to the arts and crafts shack and this is my opportunity to surf. I just love surfing." Elliot proudly said.

"I used to love surfing too. Until it happened." Hotch solemnly said.

A worried expression had appeared on Elliot's face, "Until what happened? What are you talking about?"

"I'm sorry. I just don't like to talk about it."

"I'll tell you what happened. A few years ago, my daddy and I came to this same beach right here. And daddy's friend came with us. Well daddy and his friend decided to go surfing. Daddy came out of the water, but his friend never did. We later found out that he got eaten by a shark." Jack explained.

"All that was left of my friend, was a leg. And we knew it was his leg because we recognized large dragon tattoo on it."

"But do you know what's really scary about it?"

"No, what?" Elliot asked, clearly afraid of what the answer maybe.

"That shark has never been found. It's still out there, just stalking and waiting for its next victim."

Without saying a word and clearly frightened by Hotch and Jack's shark tale, Elliot stormed away from the two of them, leaving his surfboard behind.

"HEY! YOU FORGOT YOUR SURFBOARD!" Jack shouted.

"KEEP IT! I'M NOT GOING INTO THAT WATER! AT LEAST NOT UNTIL THEY FIND THAT SHARK! I'M NOT ABOUT TO BECOME SOMEONE'S DINNER!" Elliot shouted back.

When Elliot was out of sight, Jack and Hotch smiled at each other.

"You think he believed us?" Hotch asked.

"Yeah, he believed us. Did you see how scared he was when we told him that the shark hasn't been found, yet?"

"He was really scared."

"I don't think he'll ever go back into the water, again."

"We probably scared him all the back to New Mexico. I bet he's trying to convince his wife and kids that this place just isn't fun anymore." Hotch said.

"He's probably really freaking out about staying here while there's a "shark" out there in the water." Jack used air quotes when he said shark."

End of chapter eight. I'm sorry it's short, but please leave a review. Good or bad. You know that I'll accept them both. There's just one more chapter left of this story. I'll try to have it up as soon as possible.
