Dodai was searching Killer Bee within the Eastern commercial district of Konoha. He was so pissed for being duped like this. He would make sure that Bee won't get away with only a slap on his wrist. Suddenly he felt a light tapping on his left shoulder. He scowled and turned his head only to face a crow. The crow screeching loudly before him.
Dodai immediately made a hand sign and whispered "Kai!" The Crow Vanished. Before him now was an ANBU with Raven mask. Staring and Judging him from that round eyeholes of his mask. Dodai was nervous. It has been a long time since other shinobi managed to trap him in a Genjutsu. Whoever this Kid was he should be approached cautiously .
"Come, Kumo nin. You're now under house-arrest" the Raven ANBU droned.
"What did we do, we didn't do something wrong" Dodai replied. Inwardly he wondered what has gone wrong. It can be either the negotiation with the Hokage has gone wrong or Killer Bee causing some problems. He hoped it's not the later.
"Killer Bee did, he approached Konoha's vital "Asset" Unauthorized" the ANBU replied. He didn't feel the need to tell the Kumo nin the whole story."And as result we canceled your diplomatic status Immediately"
Dodai restrained himself from Shouting in frustration. That fool! and at time like this!
Yep, Bee's going to received more than a slap on his wrist.
Bee was being escorted to the Hokage. They were now on a dirt road that surrounded by threes at both sides. A Cat masked was ANBU beside him . He knew that Cat wasn't the only escort for him. He knew that there are at least a dozen men following them from a distance with at least Jounin level chakra signature. Well, that didn't surprise him a bit. He was sooooo awesome that he got so many fans even though he was now in a foreign land.
'wait a minute!' Bee suddenly halted. He rummaged through his flak jacket for something.
Neko (the Cat masked ANBU) tensed when Bee halted. She took several steps back as Bee searched something in His one strapped flak-jacked, ready to signal the men to attack if he turned to be hostile. Instead she's confused when Bee reached for a pencil and a notebook.
" Hmmm…. got many fans, in a remote foreign land. Yeah! gotta a nice ring for my being.." Bee muttered to himself while taking a note.
Neko and most of the Jounins behind who had their kunai in reverse grip the moment Bee Halted have a large, literal Question marks on their respective heads after seeing Bee's freakish-ness in this dire and serious situation.
A moment later they arrived at a clearing surrounded with nine foot high chain link fences topped with barbed wire . Beyond the fence Bee can see three men in tank tops with Konoha headbands and armed with Katana engaging an old man with black shinobi suit, grey gauntlets, and an armored helmet with a bandanna-like Konoha forehead protector over this, which featured two long straps. Even though the old man was outnumbered, he managed to hold down the relentless swords attack with his own staff. Bee even suspected that the old man was holding back.
Neko instructed Bee to wait in the Wooden Gazebo with hexagonal roof near the fence. Bee complied while observing the old man's mastery in Boojutsu . The old man disarmed one of the men and struck him in under his chin with his staff, effectively knocked him out.
Bee watched the entire scene with amusement. He can defeat these three weaklings within a minute in close combat. " Heh, I was so wrong, the old Kage is not that strong." Bee thought arrogantly while sitting Indian style.
"Bee, don't underestimated the decrepit one! Even in his age, his chakra signature is so strong . I feel that the old one is able to face your brother head on." Hachibi warned its container.
Bee decided to heed his partner's advice. Despite his cocky demeanor he knew his limit. For a shinobi to reached such an old age spoke greatly at his skill. Bee certainly sure that if he were to engaged "Kami no shinobi" of Konoha, he would certainly be reduced to a bloody punk. Oh well, not that he would admit that loud to his partner. "That's a blasphemy Gyuuki, no one can be stronger than the Mighty kirabi ! " Bee rapped to hide his own nervousness.
Hachibi didn't bother to reply. Thought it wondered what sin it has caused to have such a dumbass as a Jinchuuriki for perhaps a thousand times.
It didn't take long for Sarutobi to defeat his opponent. His three sparing partners bow before him before taking their leave. Neko waited patiently for her Kage to finish cleaning his face from sweats with a clean towel. After he's done Neko give her report. Sarutobi's eyebrows met after hearing her report. He dismissed neko and exiting the training ground.
Bee steeled himself when he saw the old legend exiting the training ground and walking casually towards the gazebo. Sarutobi sat cross-leged before Bee once he entered the gazebo.
"So, What the good 'Ol Kirabi can do fer you old man? " Bee said cheerfully. Hoping to make the situation less tense.
Sarutobi didn't answer him. He took off his helmet and set it at his side, revealing grey spiky hairs. He took out his pipe and went through slow and careful process of filling it with tobacco and lightning it. He then took a couple of leisurely puffs while locking his steel gaze to Kirabi's eyes (or glasses).
This has the desired effect as Bee nervousness tripled and he was glad he had his glasses to conceal it.
Sarutobi wondered just what sick game the Yondaime Raikage was playing. First He target the Byakuugan and now the vessel of the strongest Bijuu, Uzumaki Naruto. He was unfortunate that Morino Ibiki was on mission right now. And he didn't want Inoichi to mind scan a veteran Jinchuuriki for he was afraid of the unknown side effects. That leave himself to fishing out Information from Bee. Sarutobi was an Excellent judge of Character, he hoped he can Immediately know what that deceitful Raikage wants.
" You spent some time with our Jinchuuriki despite being a Foreign nin with a Dubious Diplomatic credibility. Care to explain why ?" Sarutobi asked neutrally. Still locking his gaze with Bee.
" Heh, What Can I say? the gaki was quite lonely, so I decided to give him some company." Bee rapped/answered while grinned widely.
"Be more serious , Kimo nin! when it comes to Naruto's safety I have very little patience!" Sarutobi said while slapping his left palm against the tatami mat.
Bee winced a bit. He forgo his cheerful persona and speak with the Kage more seriously. " I am a Jinchuuriki , I wouldn't Idle to watch my kin be abused verbally." Bee explained. He told the Kage how he saw a woman harshly berating Naruto. Saying that a "thing" like him is forbidden to socialize with normal children. Bee further explained how the "witch" insulted young Naruto while repeteadly poking his chest for each Jibe. Bee told the Hokage how he shoo the woman away and cheering up Naruto. At the end of his tale Bee sighed. It has been a long time since he speaks normally. He glanced at the Hokage to see his reaction. Bee noted that the Kage looked very disappointed yet not surprised.
"So, It can be a pure empathy among the outcasts or He just want to slowly poisoned young Naruto's mind to make him defect to Kumo in the future," Sarutobi deduced while taking another puff from his pipe. "Well, I thank you for making effort. Few people do" Sarutobi paused. " But you must understand that after Kumo's little stunt to the Hyuuga , your action can't be trusted anymore. You could be very well under the Raikage's order to Kidnap him."
"Nah, my bro didn't the amateur Gaki, since He already has his professional Jinchuuriki!" Bee boasted while pointing his chest with his thumb.
"That might be true. But I have to make sure that this act of empathy was true ,not a ploy By your Kage. Your action here maybe be okay if there was no Hyuuga incident. But after the Hyuuga Incident your action to approached our Jinchuuriki was considered a breach in a diplomacy protocols and a Penalty must be made " Sarutobi explained.
The hairs on Bee's back neck suddenly stand as Dread filled him when he heard the Kage's reply. "What did you do ?" Bee asked seriously. His body tensed.
"Dodai and the Kunoichi ambassador are now under house arrest. They would never be released if the Raikage can lessened his Illogical demand."
"And if he refuse?" Bee challenged. He didn't know nor care of what's his maniac of a brother demanded from Konoha. He just pissed that his good deed causing Dodai and the kunoichi arrested. Though he didn't feel any regret for doing the right thing.
"Well then we would Interrogating Dodai for his secret of Lava release Jutsu" The Old kage grinned. "To be honest even I am very curious : how on earth he can manipulated those Lave to be rubber like substance" The professor added while stroking his goatte.
Killer Bee glared at him . How dare that old fool! Dodai was one of the people who treat him well when he was a kid, while most people despised and ridiculed him for being a Jinchuuriki. Bee leaked a small amount of Killing Intent while his hand reaching at the handle of sword that strapped on his back.
Multiple projectiles come at Bee Who did nothing to deflect them. Brown , Bubbling chakra cloak surrounded Bee when the projectiles make contact. Making them bounced off of him harmlessly. A dozen ANBU surrounded Bee with their sword drawn and a pair of Cloaked ANBU operatives stand Between Sarutobi and Bee.
"Relax and hear my further explanation" Sarutobi ordered Bee while leaking his own K.I that far stronger than Bee's.
Bee begrudgingly released his hand from his sword handle and deactivated his chakra cloack. He crossed his arms and nodding to Sarutobi to continue.
"Impressive, so He do has a full control of his power" A thought was occurring to him. Sarutobi made some hand signals and The ANBU dispersed. Though they didn't go far from him. "Your brother making a ridiculous demand for us. He wants the Body of Hyuuga Hiashi which was unacceptable for the incident was clearly a mistake by the Head ninja and thus Kumo. Tell him to officially withdraw this demand and Dodai would be released." He explained.
"That's it?" we both know there're always more.
"No. I wish to make a certain trade with the Raikage. I would ask him to have you come here once a year for at least 5 years."
Bee frowned. "That's too much to ask old man, just what is it do you want?"
The old man asked back" How is motoi-san ?"
"How..how do you know about him?" Bee asked in a shaky voice. Shit, If the Hokage knew about his average ninja fiend like motoi just how vast his spy networks?
"I have my own sources. The reason why I want you to come here once a year is Because of Naruto. You see , every Jinchuuriki needs some sort of attachment to their village. That bonds is what make a Jinchuuriki sane. You didn't feel like an outcast in Kumo even after being betrayed by your friend, motoi because you still have your brother with you. Just like you were, Naruto is often being prejudiced because of the burden he carrying. The purpose of your visit is to make some sort of mental support and realization that even though being a jinchuuriki is hard , he still can be succeed while looking at you as a living example. An Idol you can say" Sarutobi reasoned. Though he hope Naruto won't picked up Bee horrible rapping.
Bee nodded in perfect understanding , being a Jinchuuriki is so stressful . It requires many bonds from people and friends to make a Jinchuuriki stable. He knew from his brother that the Ichibi Jinchuuriki has snapped and become a psycho. He really didn't want another psycho with the strongest Bijuu in his gut. " That's Interesting but at the end it's my bro who always deciding."
"I will write a message for A. In the meantime, you can visit Dodai at his temporary house. You've got thirty minutes." with that Sarutobi rise up and gestured Bee to do the same. "You're dismissed"
Bee got to his feet. Give the Hokage a Bow and then leave.
Fifteen minutes later.
' that didn't go well' Bee thought sadly. The Kunoichi diplomat has left Immediately after receiving the Hokage's message to A. He has visited Dodai and informing him the situation. Dodai only gave him a look from his lone eye. Bee tried to say something but Dodai just told him to go to Kumo ASAFP. Sighed…the disappointment from the people you care is always weighting your soul deeply. His mussing was distracted when he saw a Whiskered Blond Boy in a small Ramen stand. Bee heard the Boy talking enthusiastically with the waitress about his day. Bee smiled fondly at the scene, apparently all Jinchuuriki has one trait in common : attention seeking. When he was a kid He always rapped throughout Kumo in order to get attention from people beside his brother. He could care less whether the attention was good or bad. He remember Nii Yugito use to playing shamisen to get her favorite male sensei'sattention. He Immediately come to Naruto. "maybe our encounter was destined after all"
"YO! Naruto Uzumaki , come here you annoying Gaki!" Bee announced loudly
Naruto turned around to give the Jerk his two cents. His eyes widened when he saw It's Bee who calling him. "Uncle Bee!" He shouted back while giving Ayame the money for his ramen and then approaching him. "Bee! Did your meeting with the old man gone well?"
Bee nodded. " Yes little man" Bee turned his back to naruto and crouching. "Get on Man I didn't have much Time" Be said while patting his back.
"WOHOOOO! Piggy Back!" Naruto hopped on Bee's Back.
Bee did a powerful chakra leap to get Both of them on a Roof top and setting off at a high speed as he bounded from roof to roof with practical ease. His white scarf flaring out behind
Naruto merely enjoyed the feeling of the wind whistling past his ears and blowing his spiky hair back from his eyes until Western Konoha gates brimmed on horizon. He grinned. One of the reason he wanted to become shinobi is so he can do something cool like this.
Bee jumped off from another Roof top and landing gracefully before the open gates. He put down Naruto and Said " It's time for me to go, Naruto"
"W-will we meet again Uncle Bee?" the boy asked sadly. Bee was one of the few people who want to befriend him.
"No promise , man! " Bee extended his right fist to Naruto.
Recognize the gesture Naruto bumped his fist with Bee's. Smiling while Bee ruffled his Blonde hair. With a final wave of Goodbye Bee get out from the Great Gates and Immediately jumping from to tree to tree. His move was a blur.
Naruto watched his new friend gone. He smiled, he finally Has another friend beside Ayame and the Old man! Even if his new friend is a freaky one he didn't mind as long as Bee keep showing him cool ninja moves.
He returning to his apartment with a genuine smile on his face. Suddenly he halted on his way. "What the hell is that?" His eyes narrowed at the brown object near the trash bins. His heart thumped rapidly when he approached the object. Growing up poor tend to get his eyes sharp for something valuable. He picked the object …the wallet! from the street.
*Thump*Thump*Thump* his heart beat gone faster when he open the wallet. Inside the wallet there're thousands of Ryo!
Naruto's grin grew broader. Oh yeah. The day is getting better and better.
