Magi: I feel so guilty and absent for not updating this sooner.
Flame: "I LIVE!"
Magi: So, last night, I got a couple reviews that made me smile and remember the reason I started writing in the first place. Thank you Emerald Cupcakes! I really liked your enthusiasm so here is a chapter for you.
Flame: Don't forget about your other followers?
Magi: thank you guys as well
Flame: I love you~ *looks to the reader*
-Flame Prince POV-
(Name) kept her hood up, and kept walking. When I didn't follow, she noticed and turned around and motioned for me to come. I couldn't, I have to disguise myself, so we don't draw unwanted attention to myself. I mean, it sounds difficult, but it's not hard. I flattened my hair. Yes, it is possible. I looked weird, but whatever, as long as my gem was hidden and I looked different, no one will care.
"Can we get on with it now?" she asked in sort of a bothered tone, like I was wasting her precious time.
I furrowed my eyebrows and nodded. The sooner I could get on with this, the faster I could leave with my bride. Part of me wanted to stay with (Name) a little longer, but she was no princess and if I know my mother, she would disapprove the second she glanced at her.
We walked down the street. The sky was clear, but the way was not. There were wizards everywhere.
"Hold my hand" I commanded a little nicer than usual. I just don't do crowds this big. Plus... I wanted to hold her hand... for safety.
She grabbed it hesitantly, then wrapped her right hand with my left. I sped up in my walking, and practically ran through the crowd, murmuring apologies every time we bumped into someone. As we passed the shops, the smell of magic and baked goods filled my nose.
-Reader POV-
I took a hold of his hand. It was warm, but didn't burn my hand. If the element you use in your magic touches you, it will not affect you in any way. Basic wizard knowledge.
Time Skip!
I noticed the sun was setting and we were close to Rapunzel, by a few hours. Wizard city is sometimes hard to maneuver. A hotel was close by, and I could tell he was getting tired. He repeatedly blinked and the walking had slowed down to a mild trot. As I looked around us, the lights in the houses were shutting off one by one. This was bad. The gangs come out at night.
"Uh, Flame Prince." I nudged his arm and he jerked up.
"What?!" he shouted alarmed. I threw on my best innocent act, with non-direct eye contact and shyness. I did not need to get shouted at.
"Sorry to bother you, but we kind of need to stop for the night, and maybe sleep at the hotel. Please." I think he bought it. He looked thoughtfully up at the sky, and then turned to me. Time was ticking as we stood there. I put my hood down when the sun left the sky and the moon came up. It reflected off my hair, but Flame Prince, was like a bright light.
"Don't act so innocent (Name), you and I both know you can handle yourself just fine. Plus I have no money. What do you expect me to pay them with?" Damn! He saw through my act. But in all seriousness, we need to get the fuck off the road, before the gangs come out and start killing or worse. Because he is an idiot, and the fact I forgot to mention fire magic is only strongest in the daytime, and is pretty much useless at night, other than creating a few sparks. Flame turned away and started walking again. I watched him walk down the road a ways and sighed. I was about to join him, when I felt an arm latch around my waist and my mouth.
"Don't scream. You do, and flame boy over there gets iced." a voice whispered in my ear. I instantly froze. Quite literally actually. I was stuck in a solid block of ice. Now I could be wrong, but there is only one gang with the ice magic.
The Ice Fools. Stupid name right? Well they have a stupid king.
Review please! I do enjoy reading them. And... I'm Back Baby!
