Erza POV

Everyone stared at Erza in disbelief. she could hear murmurs through the counselors

"It's her?" "I thought she was just a newbie." "There's noooo way she will survive with those wounds."

While this was going on, Erza pulled out a sword and swung it down the middle of the table. The wood splintered in the middle and the table collapsed into two parts. The whole room turned silent.

"I know i'm destined to go on this quest. And I'll assure you that I will help you find something that will strengthen the borders."

Erza tried to make eye contact with Percy, but he refused to look at her. He was determined to keep away from her.

"Besides, Percy and I know each other. We can make a good team."

That was the wrong thing to say because everyone's head turned to Percy's. He tried to cover up his lies.

"Um...I don't know what you're talking about. I've never seen you in my life."

Erza feigned surprise as she tried to keep her face calm.

Everyone exchanged looks of suspicion. Clearly Percy knew who Erza was.

Percy's anxiousness became clearer on his face.

"Listen, I know you don't believe me. But I don't know this girl, OK?"

One the counselors spoke. "But then who will go on the quest as the third member?"

Percy opened his mouth to speak, but Erza beat him to it.

"-I will!"

Percy now turning from anxious to angry, faced Erza and said "Now look here, this quest is dangerous, and you're a new camper here. You clearly don't know how things work. You aren't even claimed by your godly parent and I'm not letting any undetermined camper come with me on a dangerous quest like this. So go back to your cabin and-"

"That's enough!" Chiron's voice broke in. " We need a moment to think about this. Everyone out except for Percy."

Annabeth's face turned red from anger as she tried to ignore the decision Chiron made.

Erza sat outside the door looking at the blue sky. She was itching for another fight. Her last mission took a month with only a day for fighting.

After what seemed like hours the door opened quickly and Percy glared at her.

Erza remembered that she was going to respect Percy's decision to keep everyone apart. Too bad.

Percy, without saying a word walked past Erza and over to Annabeth where they exchanged a few words.

Erza, losing her patience walked over to Percy.

"What about the quest?"

"The quest? There are only going to be two members on the quest. There is no martyr."
