Angel of Death: Life as a Mortal

Jade is now a mortal and is love with Tori but Tori is dating Cat. Besides having to deal with that Jade must deal with high school, being a human psychic, normal teenage problems, and the return of Robbie. This is a continuation of my one shot Angel of Death I would read that before this. Rated M for later chapters. WARNING Story has been abandoned and will not be finished.

5. Dreams

Chapter 5: The Dream

AN: Sorry I've been MIA so long, laptop issues, internet issues, RL problems. Sorry but I also lost my outline for this story and can barely remember my general direction for the story; luckily I wasn't very far in. So forgive any plot holes continuity errors or etc that rise up. Also I want to start a new non supernatural story but am lacking in creative juices at the moment so suggestions in reviews or PM's are greatly appreciated!

"I see you're stronger than I predicted," said Robbie smiling at her menacingly.

"Damn it I won't let you do this to my friends! All these innocent people, how can you live with yourself?"

"Why do you care about them?" asked Robbie genuinely confused. "You were an angel you're above such petty things as human attachment. They only make you weaker with my help you could be far stronger than you ever were under God's command."

In that moment I felt bad for him, he really didn't understand. "Robbie," I said softly, "my attachment to them doesn't make me weaker; it makes me stronger, more whole. You could never understand when you love some," I paused a moment to look over at an unconscious Tori lying in the corner, "you don't get weaker; you get stronger. Until you love you'll never know the power behind it. That's how I'm confident I'll beat you today; not because I'm weaker or stronger but because I love. I simply have to."

With that a ball of red light appeared in Robbie's hand and a blue one in Jade's; they hurled them at each other and with an explosion that rocked the school the battle had begun.

Jade woke with a start sweating and confused. A precog dream was all she could explain it as; it was way to real to be anything else. So basically she was going to have to battle Robbie, probably to the death, and hope to high hell she could win. She was hoping her precog was right and love would be enough. God would be no help he wouldn't interfere with a half demon; he was still half mortal with free will and by God's command able to do as he pleases, though she was sure he wouldn't let him go as far as destroying humanity or anything.

AN: Short I know but I'm dead tired and this was more to show this story will go on! Soon I'll stop with all the precog stuff and develop Tori and Jade's relationship. Reviews are of course what drives me so please review!
