Reassurance

Nevermind that guys, for now on with the story!

Honeydew's POV

First thought of the Sky Army Base, whoa. Here I am thinking that there would be made or at least decorated by a lot of gold or butter as Sky calls it.
They were particle in a sense that it was carved into a cliff like Yoglabs without the very big safe door and the dangerous toxic waste fluid pipe. Strange it was near a river, it was probably used as a source of drinking water. When we went inside I was amazed at the vast number of recruits. There maybe more recruits than there are employees back at YogLabs.

Though I did notice a reccurring theme. The recruits had some sort of gold/butter armor and/or weapon.

"Well you guys have a lot of go- butter, sorry butter to go around," I said.

"Come on, its common sense," Sky said, "Like I said, squids are vulnerable to it, which is handy especially as of late."

"How many recruits are here?" Xephos asked.

"At least 7 million," Deadlox said.

"Question: Why is everyone staring at us?" Zoey asked.

Sky and friends look up making the other recruits look away and I realized that they have been staring at us ever since we got here.

"Nice try," Bajan said, "everyone get back to work."

"Benj," Jerome said, "We should catch up with them later."

"I'm with you on that boat." Bajan replied. "Sky?"

"Right," Sky said, "Karen and I will take care of them. Fluffy, Bajan get the girls. The rest of you are dismissed."

"Which ones?" Jerome asked.

"The ones in charge of civilian watch." Sky replied.

"Oh them," Bajan said, "Right we will send them to the conference room."

Once they left, we followed Sky and Karen all the way to the confrence room where we are greeted by a frog and a human.

Karen/Darcy's POV

"No way you actualy got them here?" Kermit asked.

"No, these are costumes," I said, "Of course, we got them here Kermit."

"Oh, sorry," Kermit said.

Before Kermit could come up with a come back, a recruit comes in saying, "Captain Sparklez is requesting meeting over video chat."

"Tell him to wait 5 minutes," Sky said, "we haven't debriefed the entire situation to the Yogscast Guild yet."

"Understood sir," the recruit said and he runs off.

"While we wait for a couple more people," I said, "I like to introduce you guys to Kermit the frog and Bodil."

"Hello," Kermit said.

"Hi," Bodil said. He streches out his hand to Xephos.

"Hello," Xephos said, "I'm Xephos." He proceeds to shake Bodil's hand which gives him a shock from joy buzzer.

Bodil laughs and said, "Sorry. Couldn't help it."

After they exchanged formalities, Bajan and Jerome, finally come with the two girls, Athena and Jane.

"Sorry to keep you guys waiting," Athena said, "Some squids were... Uh, who are they?"

"Wait, you haven't heard of the Yogscast Guild," Honeydew said, "I'm Honeydew of Khaz Modan and that is Xephos. You have heard of us right?"

"Nope sorry," Athena said.

"I haven't heard of you guys either." Jane said, "Sorry."

They quickly introduced themselves.

"Wait," Sky said, "What was that about squids?"

"A small squad of recruits were attacked," Jane said, "Bad news, some of the recruits were captured. Good news, we all would have been if Bajan and Jerome didn't come at that moment."

"So," Athena said, "what's going on?"

"Sky," I said, "Maybe I should handle this part?"

Sky nods, "The floor is yours."

I take a deep breath and take a glance at Darcy. If you couldn't tell, I was very nervous.

Then I begin, "To speed things up a bit. As you might know, Sky and a couple of others were captured by the squids until about a week ago. While I helped them with escaping and retrieving their weapons, we came across some battle plans of theirs describing seperate attacks on Yoglabs, this base and Jerry's Tree which is Captain Sparklez's base."

"Is that why Captian is requesting a meeting," Rythian asked.

I nod.

Sips cursed, "Well, you guys take those squids seriously."

"Why would we take them lightly," Sky said, "They basically almost took you guys out and do you want to know what was in that vial yesterday?"

"Actually yeah," Sips asked, "Why do you need an antidote for anyway?"

"Squid blood," Bajan said, "Incredibly dangerous. The squids treated it in a certain way so that you would both slowly and painfully turn into a squid hybrid."

I look at him,"You read that off of Seto's papers did you?"

"So hang on," Kaeyi said, "What you're saying is that Zoey and I could have turned into squid hybrids?"

"And what's the difference between being half something and being a hybrid?" Sjin asked.

"Being half-something means your parents was one thing, like a human, and the other parent is something else," Darcy said, "while being a hybrid means you were genetically altered without either parent being the thing you are a hybrid of."

"And yes," I said, "but the way the squids do it is reversible within a certain amount of time, which is why we're creating the antidote."

"So let me guess," Lalna asked, "They are trying to build a more intelligent army to take over the world and you want us to stop them before they had a chance to harm anyone else."

Sky said, "That's basically it. Also, we think they're not alone on this sort of plan of theirs. They could be allied with someone."

"Like Israphel?" I said, "He did get away. We should count out any others just in case."

"Quick question," Athena asked, "Why are we here?"

"You're being briefed of course," Jerome said, "You are a part of this."

"How?" Jane asked.

"You're connected to the outside world aren't you?" I asked, "Anyone come into mind?"

"Other than Herobrine?" Jane said. "No one else."

"Either way," I said, "They have to be stopped. If they're not stopped, if they are allied with someone, this won't be the only world in danger."

I let that sink in among them.

"Well," Rythian said, "I think I know my answer." He glances at Zoey and Teep and they both nod, "But I think it's up to Xephos and Honeydew."

"I agree," Sips said. "I'm useless here."

"Guys?" I asked them.

"I guess we're all in agreement then," Xephos said.

"Yeah, let's give those squids a force to be reckoned with," Honeydew said.

I give a sigh of relief while the others cheered.

But what Bajan says next, ticks me off.

"Now hold on." Bajan said, "Before we make anything official, official, we should play a game."

"What game are you guys talking about?" Kim asked.

Bajan and Jerome looked at each other and nodded. They look at us and say, "The Hunger Games."

"Well we didn't do much." I know. "When do we do stuff?" Another two maybe three chapters.
