A New Start

Hey Blue Power1 here. I really hope you guys enjoy this series.

Just to let you know, every review makes me happy, unless you're a squid, no one like squids.

Sky's POV

We all made are way to the assembly area. During that strange call, Jason was able to trace it back. The bad news was that it was near Jerry's Tree, the base of Captain Jordan Sparklez's Armada. Karen didn't say anything about the guy she called Leader. I shot a glare at either Jerome or Mitch that even tried.

Somethings are to be left untouched, until enabled, and it was very clear that she didn't want to give that information.

When we got there, the amphitheater was full of chatter and no doubt everyone was talking about it, the recruits didn't here Karen's outbursts, but that didn't stop them getting some sort of a one-sided argument. Of course, they would be also be talking about Mitch's defeat in the games, too bad he would be able to live it down in under a week.

I head to the center of the stage, "Excuse me! Everyone settle down!"

As usual, the chatter turn into arguments to try to get one another to settle down.

"Not again..." I muttered. "Seto." I said, "You know the drill."

Seto then launched a firework into the room to get their attention. Sometimes Seto would make it so to announce a birthday or something like that, this time it read 'The Benj and the Bacca lost the Hunger Deans'. That definitely go their attentions and a lot laughs, specifically from Bodil and myself.

"Right," I said as I tried to keep a straight face, "Now that we got that out of the way, let's get down to business."

I take a glance at the recruits and see one with their hand raised.

"You have a question?" I said.

"Yes, well everyone's wondering, who the heck was that dude?" The recruit said. There were murmurs in the crowd that soon followed. They will all want an answer. I look at Karen.

She takes a glance at Darcy, who was on her shoulder and nodded.

"I had I feeling I need to say something," Karen said.

She walks onto the stage and stares directly at the recruit.

"That person is known as Leader." She said, "In a past, long ago, he was my friend."

I take a glance at the Yogscast, by their expressions, I could tell they already knew, did they encounter him before?

"Leader and I are not exactly from this world," She continued, "But a world far different from this... A couple months ago, he recently failed at a previous attempt to do something sinister, and I think he plans to do the same thing. Please everyone, no more questions, let's focus on the now."

I had plenty of questions myself, but for her sake, I let it slide.

"All right," I said, "I think we should debrief you over the past few days. As you all know, most of us from the TeamCrafted division and myself have been captured by squids. Karen crossed out paths and we all escaped the Squid base, which one of them is near here. We have sent a team to obliderate that base, and they have just come back earlier today succesful and acounted for. While we were captured, we recovered battle plans describing attacks on not our base, but on two others, our allies; the Yogscast Guild and Captain Sparklez. One of the attacks have already happened, which is partially why the Yogscast Guild is here. A few hours ago, Captain debriefed us of the situation at the Jerry's Tree. His reports were not good. Several of his members have already dissapeared, and what's worse, that communication that happened moments ago, was in the surrounding area."

"There is also a dangerous weapon in play," Deadlox said, "the squids developed a serum, capable of turning the victim into a squid hybrid."

"However the plan is simple," Xephos said, "Until we can comfirm the removal of the other base near Jerry's Tree, the Yogscast Guild, the TeamCrafted division, several hundred of the recruits, Karen and myself will travel there, the rest stay here and prepare for not only the squids, but other mobs as well."

"What about the serum?" A recruit asked.

"I've already started on developing an antidote," Seto said, "With the help of the Yogscast Guild members, it will be complete before our departure."

"And Leader?" Another recruit asked.

"A bridge we will cross later," Karen said. "Anymore questions?"

"No," Bodil said, "But I have something to say, Let's show those squids who's boss."

The recruits cheered more loudly than ever before, never in my life since our establishment have I seen so much high morale.

"They have never been this excited before." I said.

"That's because," Darcy said, "They are witnessing history in the making, the greatest heroes of Minecraftia coming together to defeat a common enemy."

That's it for now, sorry it feels short.

"Yeah, why did you cut it there?"

"And when are we going to get more involved?"

"Yeah."

"And when do I come in?"

Whoa! Guys calm down, and you are too early, I just want to get this part out of the way. Also this may hint my other story that contains the Yogscast *cough* Operation: Prevent Yogcraft War *cough* that I have not finished yet...
