Sara stood in front of everyone as they looked at her, the tall short red hair man laughter slowly came to a stop, his fits still on his hips. Sara's eyes looked down at the ground, staring at everyones feet. She thought about the light...how she was suddenly transported.
"So.." she softly began, "the stories I read, you are all real?" She slowly brought her gaze to everyone. "And you?...you're Kuwabara?" He smiled ear to ear at her.
"Yes ma'am!" He chuckled in his throat, turning to look at everyone. Genkai sat with her eyes closed, her arms crossed infront of her. She raised a foot and kicked an empty chair towards Sara and Kuwabara. He moved out of the way as it slowed and stopped in front of her.
"Have a seat, Sara." She said, her eyes still closed. Sara slowly turned the chair to face them and sat in it, looking at them. "That book, Soul Magic,..it was created a very long time ago, before any of us were born here. Most humans who read it can't, or see nothing from it but blank pages. Psychics or mediums might see a light from it, but being able to read from it shows something great." She opened her eyes and looked at Sara who was looking back. "We want to bring that power out of you, to learn to harness it and control it."
Kurama had stuck his hands in his pockets by now. "Yes, and you would be a great asset to us," He followed. Sara looked up, glancing at all of them.
"Wait!" She began, bring her hand to her head and rubbing her temple, "I'm still confused. How are you even real?...the books?...the story...?" Kurama conintued,
"Most of which is true. The demon world...spirit world...special abilities. THat of which is true" Sara dropped her hand to her lap amd looked at Kurama.
"So the writer...Toshibi? He knew?" She asked. Yusuke leaned forward in the chair, gaining her look.
"He was around for some but he did not have abilities like we all do."
Genkai began to speak again, "We had to wipe his memory, but he managed to have memories resurfaced. Either he had visions or they came to him in dreams, but because of wiping his memory he did not see himself there. And him being a writer as he was, he made stories from what he saw, what came to him."
Hiei smirked, not looking at anyone in particular. "But humans do not know of our true nature, nor do they or would they even begin to believe it. And not all of which that man wrote is true, again they are just stories." He closed his eyes and clinched his fist, "like the tournaments he wrote about...none of that ever happened. That is his own fictional work!"
"Okay.." Sara said softly befor emumbling to herself, "I ...still can't believe this.." Kurama kept one hand in his pocket to his side, sticking the other hand out gesturing to her,
"It will take some time, but in time you shall see." Kurama almost slightly smiled before Seeing Hiei and Genkai giving a slight look to him. Sara cought it, but they quickly looked away and continued.
"The Book," Genkay began again, "you will read it, but only while you are with us, you will train and meditate. That is where we shall start." Before she could continue Sara interrupted.
"Wait!" She held her hands up as everyone almost tilted their head at her. "What is all of this for? You act like the world is under an attack or something." She watched as everyones heads slowly lowered, as if depressed then Yusuke spoke, still keeping his head down.
"Let's just say it's comming to that. There is an evil demon...he has not gotten close yet, but he is in the works on it." Sara shot her look at him.
"A demon? A real live demon?" Sara asked. Hiei laughed,
"We are all demons!" He slightly turned to look at her for the first time since they began talking. "Even you are!"
"What?!" Sara squeeled. She was sure that NOW they were joking with her.
"Hiei!" Kuwabara screamed, finally speaking out. "I thought we weren't going to tell her!"
"Tell me what?" Sara asked, looking at him, "I thought you were going to tell me everything?"
"She's going to have to know anyways you idiot!" Hiei said looking from the side at Kuwabara who grew furious.
"Don't start with me shrimp!" Kuwabara said as he pointed at Hiei. Hiei closed his eyes, slightly leaning his head back and laughing. He stuck a foot up, proping up under the leg of the chair he sat in holding onto his sword at his hip while the other hand rested on his knee.
"Anytime, tomato head." he snickered in his throat as he looked back at Kuwabara. Both looked at each other with intensity. But before Sara could continue, Kurama again spoke up.
"Well, since the cat is out of the bag, we may as well tell her all that!" He waited for a reply from the others as Sara still sat waiting. Genkai had closed her eyes as if pondering if to do so, but Yusuke took the lead.
"Hell, yeah! Let's get started!" Yusuke jumped up almost proud like, gripping a side of his jacket while he stood in front of her and near the others. "You're part daemon, Sara!" Her mouth slightly opened, "Actually, our souls are rather...unique and sorta old. We once lived in demon world, your powers are still locked away is all. We aren't biological simblings here now, but our powers, and from the past, we are indeed." He grinned and smiled more, "In a way, demon world is our origonal home! And there is a difference in demons and daemons. In a way for more simply, jsut think good or bad." He leaned slightly forward, smiling even harder, as if his excitment would not contain himself. "Don't worry we are all the good ones, we are Daemons" Sara clamped a hand over her mouth.
"Speak for yourself." Hiei scoffed at him. Yusuke looked at him as he continued,
"Well...everyone but Hiei, hahahah but he is good now, although he is a demon." He looked back at Sara who still seemed shocked though oddly calmer, "If it makes it easier though just call us all demons. Just keep in mind being demon doesn't mean always bad." He again grinned at Sara "And what's more to add..." He closed his eyes, as if preparing for something of more excitement, then pointed at himself with his thumb, "I'm your brother!" And grinned ear to ear as Kuwabara pulled a chair to sit in, Genkai kept her eyes closed and a leg drapped over the other, Hiei kept his focus on the wall, and Kurama smirked at Sara's reactions to it all.
