AN:/ Thanks for reading! Here's the next chapter. I'm trying a new POV so review and tell me what you think!

Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter

Zany POV:

After the feast when we got to our dorms I was asleep before my head hit the pillow. The next morning I was woken up by my head being hit by a pillow.

"Get up!" Teddy yells at me.

Teddy is a morning person, and also a persistent little bugger so when you become his target he usually succeeds.

I pull my blanket over my head in an attempt to get him to leave. I hear laughter, and then I feel someone pull the pillow out from under my head.

"If I don't get to sleep then neither do you!" Harry yells at me.

With a sigh I admit defeat and get up. I see Teddy walking over to Ron's bed-pillow at the ready. As Teddy sneaks over to wake up his next victim, I get out of my bed and look over to see that Ron woke up on his own.

"What happened?" Ron mumbled, still half asleep.

I explain to him how Harry and I were victims of a Teddy style wake up by being hit by a pillow. He was laughing at us until I told him that if he didn't wake up when he did he would have become Teddy's third victim.

"Okay, now that everyone is up and knows what is going on get dressed so we can go to the Great Hall for breakfast! Classes start today!" Teddy told us.

Motivated by the thought of breakfast Ron, Harry, and I quickly dressed in our school robes. Teddy just stood there waiting for us while tapping his foot impatiently. He changed his hair to random things while he waited.

As we left our dorms he changed his hair back. We went through the common room I saw it was mostly empty, besides for a few older students who probably had free periods first, and left through the portrait whole and went to the Great Hall.

We all started going down the stairs. I quickly realize that though all we have to do to get to the Great Hall is to go down and we will get there eventually get there, it is still possible to get lost. Trying to get to all of our classes without getting lost is going to be a nightmare! After we get used to things we are going to have to start planning pranks. Hopefully our dad's talent for causing trouble was passed onto us.

We finally arrive at the Great Hall. Judging by the fact that there are many other first years just arriving at the Great Hall, I guess we weren't the only ones who had trouble finding our way down here. We enter the Hall and go over to the Gryffindor table. I see Char sitting across from Hermione. I sit next to Char, with Teddy on the other side, and Ron and Harry across from us.

After a few minutes Professor McGonagall came around with our schedules. This morning we had Charms, with the Ravenclaws and Transfigurations with the Slytherins. After lunch we have double Herbology with the Hufflepuffs.

Talking to Hermione proved that I had been right about her being bossy, and she is a know-it-all too! I hope she doesn't start rubbing off on Char. I try to just talk to Char, but Hermione keeps butting in. Finally, I just give up and talk to Harry.

After we finish eating we have to find the Charms class room. Teddy, Ron, Harry, and I followed Char. Ever since we were little Char has been excellent at finding places, even when she isn't looking for them. She was the one who found the shack, and discovered shortcuts through the forest to get there from all of our houses.

While going to the Charms corridor Hermione wont stop talking about everything she has read about Charms. I wonder if she ever stops spewing off information about everything she has read to anyone who is within hearing distance. I don't even know when she has time to read all of that stuff. If I had free time I would do something useful like living up to the title marauder.

I soon realize that it isn't worth following Char if it meant spending more time than I need to with Hermione. When we finally got to the Charms room, Harry, Teddy, Ron, and I sit at one table and Char and Hermione sit at a different one.

" You all think Hermione is really bossy right?" Ron asked all of us.

"Defiantly, it's not worth listening to her, even if it means we can't follow Char," I told them. "Lets hang after class for a few minutes so we can walk alone."

"Agreed!" Harry said.

Even Teddy nodded and he would never say anything mean about someone unless it was really bothering him.

We still have a few minutes before class actually starts so we helped Teddy decide what he wanted to change into for a few days.

"Okay, I'm getting bored of this plain look!" Teddy complained, then asks us, "Which do you guys like best?"

He showed us a bright orange hair that was sort of messy, not as messy as Harry, or mine though, and hung in his face a little bit. His eyes were hazel for this one.

The next one was a navy blue in a mow hawk with blue eyes.

The last one is auburn hair that was wavy and is just short of hanging in his eyes. He changed his eyes to green in this look.

"I like the orange one." Ron told Teddy.

"Yeah, you haven't used the orange one before." Harry and I agreed.

Teddy closed his eyes in focus for a second before his hair changed to orange and grew so it was what it was before. When he reopened his eyes they were hazel.

Ron was still amazed at seeing him change, and every time he did his eyes widened. Harry and I are already used to him changing, so we aren't affected by it.

The bell rang and Professor Flitwick called attention to him. He is so short so short that he stands on a pile of books. He told us about what we would be doing and even made Neville's toad fly across the room.

Sadly, it appears that Trevor flying across the room would be the most exciting part of the lesson. Even when we discovered we would soon be performing the levitating spell, we would be practicing only the hand movement for a while.

Soon Charms ended and we slowly gathered our bags and supplies. Char and Hermione went ahead and we left the classroom after they had a good enough head start we wouldn't run into them.

Unfortunately, even if we had left right after them we wouldn't have run into them. It seemed that getting to Transfigurations would be very difficult. After getting lost a few times, and narrowly missing being chased by Peeves, we finally found our class.

Luckily, we are only a few minutes late. As soon as we walked in we could see that Professor McGonagall is a very strict teacher. Teddy obviously thought so too because he changed his bright orange hair to a more natural brown.

"Mr. Lupin! You are a metamorphmagus?" Professor McGonagall asked Teddy, "Your mother used to always show off when we did human Transformations because of that."

She told the class what a metamorphmagus was and asked Teddy if he would change in front of the class. He did and changed his face, hair, and eyes a few times before changing to his normal face, and made his hair brown and his eyes blue.

We walked over and sat next to Char and Hermione, since their table was the last one with enough seats for the four of us. Professor McGonagall began talking to us, telling us about what we will be doing this year.

A few minutes into class I get elbowed by Char and look down to see she has a note written for me.

How were you late? You guys

have the marauders map Char wrote

I forgot about it…We will look at

It during lunch. Want to come? I replied.

I promised Hermione I would

go to the library with her and I

don't think she would like the map.

She wrote back.

I get it. You would rather

go to the library then hang with

your lifelong friends and twin?

Now she is just ignoring us?

No! I promised her already

I'll look at the map with you all

Later. Just not at lunch.

She seemed to be getting mad too.

Ok Char we will look at it later too.

During lunch we can look for anything useful.

Teddy butted in.

Char nodded telling us that she was fine with that. I can't believe that Char is really picking Hermione over us! And after all the stuff she was saying before about us not turning against each other.

I start paying attention to what Professor McGonagall is saying, the same thing we heard in Charms. Just about what Transfigurations is and that if anyone messes around in her class they will be told to leave.

Soon enough class ended and we left to go to lunch. Ron, Teddy, Harry, and I follow Char and Hermione, but far enough behind that we can talk freely without Hermione hearing us.

"So, Char reminded us about the map and then when you asked if she wanted to check it out with us during lunch, she blew us off to go to the library with Hermione?" Harry asks me.

"Yeah, that about sums it up." I tell him.

"So what is this map and why is it so important?" Ron asks us.

I forgot that he didn't know about the map. He has become one of us, and I for one, can't wait to bring him into the next generation marauders!

"It's a map our fathers made while they went to Hogwarts. It has all of the grounds and some secret passageways. Our fathers gave it to us in hope that we would use it to live up to the next generation marauder name-something I fully intend to do. Now that we met you, you can help us." I told him.

"Wicked!" Ron exclaimed.

We follow Char and Hermione down to the Great Hall and start eating. Char and Hermione finish eating and hurry of to the library. As soon as they exit we get up and take a walk outside.

We find a beach tree in a secluded section by the lake and sit down. I grab the map out of my bag and say "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good."

At once lines of ink start forming everywhere. The dots appear, marking where everyone is in the castle. We wait a few minutes, and soon enough the map is complete.

"Bloody hell!" Ron exclaims at the sight of the map.

I smirk and then we start looking for all of our classes. After a few minutes we find all of our classes as well as a few shortcuts to most of them.

"We have double herbology next, so there is no short cut to that, just go to the green houses." Teddy tells us, while consulting his schedule.

We start to make our way down to the green houses where we meet an older witch who is Professor Sprout. "We will be in green house 3 today!" She told us.

We walked into green house 3 with the rest of our class and sat down together. Hermione and Char come in right after we sit down. Char smiles at us before coming over to sit with us.

I have to admit that herbology had to be the most interesting class today. Most likely this has more to do with the fact that the green house is full of interesting plants than that I particularly like the subject. The only people who seem genuinely interested in what Professor Sprout is Neville and Hermione. Everyone else seems to be more interested in the plants and working with them.

Professor Sprout continued to talk about what we would be doing for the first half and showing us plants for the second half. I talk quietly to Ron, Harry, Teddy, and Char. Hermione keeps shhing us and hissing to be quiet a lot.

All of us simply ignore her and keep talking. It didn't take long for her to stop trying to get is to stop and just pay attention to Professor Sprout.

After a few minutes even Hermione joins in on or conversation. It turns out she really isn't that bad when she just calms down and doesn't act like a know it all as much. We all actually had fun for the remainder of class, and we walked together to the dining hall for dinner.

Soon we all are sitting down and eating our food. When the post came Harry, Teddy, Char, and I all go letters from our parents congratulating us all on getting into Gryfindor. My dad even added in about the marauder's map.

"What is a marauders map?" asked Hermione who was reading Char's letter.

I look up at everyone to see if they have any ideas how to get around telling her. All of them seemed to be stuck on what to do so I improvised.

But, before I could, Char told her, "It is a map our fathers made when they were in school. It shows the whole school, secret passages, and where everyone on the grounds is whenever it is open. We were going to take a look at it tonight in the common room later to see if there is anything useful on it for us, or if we should save it for when we start our legacies." Char was smirking by the end of that.

AN/: I'M SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG! I know I have basically abandoned this story, but I have worked ahead so it won't happen again! I promise not to leave this unfinished. So anyway thanks for sticking with me. Let me know what you think!
