Annabeth's POV

I woke up the next morning at 6:30am to get ready for school. I slowly got out of bed and went into my bathroom. I took a short shower. I hopped out and wrapped a towel around my body. I walked out and went to my closet. I looked through my clothes and picked out some shorts and a grey t-shirt. I slipped them on and began to dry my hair while listening to music. I don't know why but I have the song 'Supermassive Black Hole' on my phone. I kept it there then flipped my hair over to dry the underside.

"Glaciers melting in the dead of night." I sang while I flipped my hair back behind my shoulders.

I put my hair in a side braid and grabbed my phone. 1 missed text from Percy. I smiled and clicked it.

Hey Wise Girl, do you want me to drive you to school?

I texted him back.

Hmm… let me think about it… Sure I guess.

He sent a reply a few minutes later.

Pick you up in 10.

Ok Seaweed Brain. See you then.

I turned my music off and went downstairs to my family.

"Hi dad. " I smiled and kissed his cheek.

"Hello sweetie, what would you like for breakfast?" He asked.

"I'm just going to have a banana." I said.

"Alright." He shrugged. "I'll see you guys after work!"

"Bye dad!" I called after him when he walked out the door.

A few minutes later, I heard the doorbell ring.

"I got it!" I called and ran to the door.

I smiled and opened the door to see the one and only, Percy Jackson son of Poseidon.

"Hey." He smirked.

"Hi." I laughed a little.

"Ready?" He asked.

"Yeah, come on." I grabbed my coat. "BYE HELEN!"

"Bye!" She called from the laundry room.

We walked to Percy's car and climbed in. I turned the radio on when he turned the car on. I changed the station to 100.5 and the song 'Here's to Never Growing Up' was on. I smiled and turned it up, singing it. He rolled down the widows and we drove to school.

"Singing radio head at the top of our lungs, with the boom box blarin as we're fallin in love!" I sang loudly.

Percy laughed at me then pulled into the school parking lot.

"Come on, we don't want to be late now do we?" He joked.

"No." I got out and slung my book bag over my shoulder.

Percy grabbed his and carried it in his hand. We walked up the steps into our high school. We walked to our first bell and sat down in our seats. I listened to the teacher while Percy almost drifted off to sleep.

"Percy! Wake up!" I hissed at him while elbowing him in the ribs.

He shot up and rubbed his eyes.

"You can't keep falling asleep like that." I said to him quietly.

"If I stay awake, will it make this class less boring?" He said while stretching.

I rolled my eyes and turned back to the teacher.

"Quiz is tomorrow." He said before the bell rang. "You may go."

I stood up and gathered my stuff.

"I don't even know what we were learning." Percy said.

"Then good luck." I laughed.

"What's it about though?" He asked.

"The Civil war." I said.

"Oh…" He scratched the back of his neck.

I laughed and walked to our next class.

"Keep me up in this one." He said.

"Just promise me you won't get mad at me." I smiled.

"I'll try not to." He laughed and sat down.

I sat down in my seat and listened, once again, to the teacher. Every once in awhile, I looked over to make sure Percy's still awake.

"Alright class! You may leave." The teacher said then started to write on the board again.

I got up and waited for Percy. He smiled and we walked to lunch. I sat down at a table while Percy went to get some food. A few minutes later, Percy came back with two trays. He set one down in front of me.

"Why thank you Mr. Jackson." I laughed.

"You're welcome Miss. Chase." He laughed.

We sat and ate for a little until it was ready to go to class again. I smiled and walked with him to my next class. Just to conclude that, it was fun.

Will's POV

I was walking out of the school when Julia and her posy come up again.

"What do you want?" I asked and pushed past her.

"Oh… nothing." She smirked.

"Ok then." I said and kept walking.

She ran to me and grabbed my shoulder, spinning me around to face her. I saw her look up and smirk. Then, she kissed me. I went wide eyed and pushed her away. I heard something drop and someone start to cry. I turned to see Alexis running the other way in tears. I turned around to Julia.

"What was that for!?"I snapped at her.

"Oh, so she would never talk to you again." She smirked then turned around, flipping her hair in my face before walking away.

I swore I was going to kill her next time I saw her. I ran over to the things Alexis dropped, picking them up. I looked at the stuff. A locket, an old jacket that I gave her (which she was probably wearing), and a book. I sighed and picked them up. I stood up and ran after her. I followed her footsteps and ran to her house. When I got there I rang the doorbell.

"Ye-"Alexis stopped when she saw me.

"Alexis just he-"She slammed the door in my face.

I heard her sniffle then walk away from the door. I sighed and walked back over to my house. Noah glared at me.

"What?" I asked him.

"You know what." Noah snapped. "Morgan told me everything Alexis told her."

"It wasn't me! It was Julia she's the one who kissed me!" I said while scowling a little.

"No one believes what you say anymore." Noah walked out the door and picked up a basketball.

I got frustrated and went up to my room. I opened my door then slammed it shut when I went inside. I cursed in Greek a few times. I threw Alexis's stuff onto my bed and fell onto my bed. I sighed and looked up at the ceiling.

"Why did Julia have to do that?" I thought out loud.

I ran my hands down my face then stood up again. I walked into the bathroom and washed my face. I looked in the mirror.

"I'm a horrible person." I said while looking down at the sink.

I heard a door outside open and I saw Alexis walk out. She was still in her school clothes but this time with a jacket on. She started too walked down the sidewalk. I picked up her stuff and ran downstairs. I ran out the front door and to her. I heard Noah call my name saying 'Don't mess with her right now!'

"Alexis!" I ran up to her.

She glared at me and kept walking. She didn't say anything to me.

"Please talk to me." I said.

She shook her head and kept walking.

"I didn't kiss Julia! It was her. She said she hoped that you would never talk to me again." I said while holding the stuff in my hands.

"Well, she hoped right." She finally said and turned a corner.

I sighed and ran after her again.

"Please just hear me out." I pleaded while I saw her wipe her eyes.

"There's nothing to listen to." She said and shoved me away.

I grabbed her arm. "Please?" I asked her.

She sighed and shook my hand from her arm.

"Fine." She rolled her eyes.

"Ok. One, I don't even like Julia." I said.

"Oh really? It looked like you did earlier today." She said in her cheery/sarcastic voice.

"I said she did that not me." I said.

She shook her head. "Why do I even bother?"

She started to walk again. I looked up and I saw two familiar figures walking towards us.

"Percy? Annabeth?" I asked.

"Will! Alexis!" Annabeth smiled.

"You guys didn't hear what happened?" I asked.

They shook their heads and before I could say something Alexis spoke up.

"He kissed Julia." She said to them before walking again.

"Seriously? Dude, that's just cold." Percy said then grabbed Annabeths hand.

I watched them walk after Alexis. I sighed and kept running things over in my head. I walked back to my house and went inside. I got stopped by my mom.

"Alexis's parents told me." She crossed her arms. "Why did you do it?"

"I didn't do it! It was Julia!" I said in defense. "I hate how you guys blame me for everything."

She sighed. "I'll talk to her parents."

"Thanks mom." I said then ran up to my room once again.

I face planted into my bed. "I'm a despicable human being."

I looked up. "I sound like Rupunzle."

I sat up and leaned again the backboard of my bed. I turned the TV on and watched my favorite TV show, 'Outrageous acts of Science.'
