Vampire Travels

Chapter 3 - Finishing touches

Melissa's POV

One more day left of school before Whitechapel I thought when my alarm went off. I got dressed and left to get a bite to eat from the orchard next to my house before I go to Kelly's house so we can walk to school together.

We listened to Paramore on our way to school then at school me and another one of my best friends, Cleo, shared my earphones listened to Paramore and songs from Pitch Perfect in the cafeteria until form time. We sat with one of our best friends, Emma.

In form I sat next to another one of my best friends, Leah, because Cleo isn't in the same form as me. I was completely bored through my lessons and at break and lunch me and Jack sat in our tree. Then at the end of school I hugged Leah, Cleo and Emma goodbye and told them I was going on holiday the following week and that was why I wouldn't be at school. That was what me and Jack agreed to tell our mates.

I walked home with Kelly and hugged her goodbye and told her the same thing that I told Leah, Cleo and Emma when we reached our houses. I went inside and had my dinner, watched tv then went to bed.

Jack's POV

I left school after telling my mates bye and telling I was on holiday the next week. I went home, ate and pretended to sleep.

I got up at 9 the next morning and spent the day writing a checklist for what I'm going to put in my suitcase because I had no idea at first. I went to bed after having some food and watching a bit of tv.

Melissa's POV

I got up at half 11 and had a coffee to get me functioning because even though I don't sleep anymore I still love my bed. I got showered and dressed then ate lunch and got my stuff for America ready. It took me till dinner which we had spicy tomato pasta bake which is one of my favourites.

After dinner we sat down and watched an episode of Bones and two episodes of NCIS.
Then we went to bed and I spent the night reading Primeval FanFiction and thinking about the trip which was 1 night away.

************************************************Th e next day*********************************************** *

I was doing research that Sunday whilst planning our itinerary for the travelling part of our trip. I had saved the cab number on my phone and tablet, just in case. I had our itinerary saved on my phone so we could access it easily.

Then I made 10 firewalls full of encryption on my phone, tablet and laptop and made the signal continuously bounce all over the world so they were completely untraceable. I then biked up to town and bought some black hair dye. Then I remembered Jack needed some to disguise him as well so I texted him and asked him what colour he would like and he said dark brown since his hair was a dirty blonde or light brown. I bought that as well then went home again after going to New Image which is a tattoo and piercing shop and checked that their guy who does piercings would be in the next morning and they said yes.

When I got home I hid the dyes, then went downstairs and convinced my mum to make enchiladas for dinner. After eating dinner and watching an episode of NCIS I went upstairs to my room and played on my tablet till 6:30 when my alarm clock went off.

I got up and faked getting ready for school by having a shower which is the reason I got up at 6:30 instead of 6:55. I dried my hair, brushed my teeth and had a coffee. I put on my school clothes for the act then at 7:40 my mum and sister left the house for work and school. I changed into jeans and a t-shit and shoved all my stuff that I got ready in my suitcase. I put money, food, my tablet, my earphones and passport in my carry on suitcase.

I left the house and met Jack in Wisbech. We went to New Image and I got an ear bar, belly button bar and a second piercing on my ear lobes. It cost me £35 but Jack said even just that made me look different and cooler so it was worth the money.

We had finished shopping so we went to the bus station and sat waiting.

Yay they leave in the next chapter that's going to be about the travelling. So what you think?
