Cas and Dean walked into school on Monday hand in hand. Neither of them could wipe the smiles from their faces. Cas ignored the looks they got and had to stop Dean from getting into a few fights. Other than that, it was a particularly good Monday. Both of them preferred the position they were in currently, though. They were sprawled across Cas's couch in a tangled mess of arms and legs. Warm kisses were shared here and there, stubble rubbed deliciously against stubble. At one point they got so involved in their mini make out session Gabriel made a disgusted noise in the back of his throat and said "this is a house of God!" Cas laughed at the inside joke the family has had going since their religious father left. "God has left the building," Cas said before pressing his lips to Dean's once more for shorter than both of them would have liked.
How well Ellen and Cas hit it off amazed Dean. He was even more amazed by how much Jo liked him. She climbed all over him and made him play tea party with her, but, to Dean, it always looked more like she was bar tending than serving tea. He figured she spent too much time at Ellen's place in town. "No, that's for Cas!" Jo scolded and slapped Dean's hand away from the small plastic tea cup she set on the small pink table. The boys chuckled, but Jo just sent Dean a small glare. "Okay, okay. Can I please have a cup of tea?" Dean asked. He and Cas sat in kiddie-sized chairs that were hurting their butts and made them shift every few minutes. "Fine, here." She slid the cup across the table and Dean gave her a goofy smile. Dean brought it up to his lips to take a pretend sip and Cas bumped his elbow against Dean's. Dean's tiny cup fumbled spilling the imaginary drink all over his lap. "Cas, You spilled my tea!" Dean sent him a playful glare. Cas smirked into his sip.
"Come'ere, you've got something on your face," Dean told him. Cas looked over at him and leaned in just a bit. Dean smiled, grabbed Cas's face, and pulled it to his planting a quick firm kiss on his lips. When he pulled away, Cas was smiling and blushing ridiculously hard. Dean couldn't figure out why at first, then he remembered they were right in front of Jo. His stomach dropped as he remembered Ellen's words. "Just keep the PDA down when Jo's around. I don't want to explain something she won't understand." Dean could tell at the time that Cas disagreed with this, but Cas kept his mouth shut.
Dean looked over at Jo who was gaping at the two. His stomach sunk even further. Her face screwed up into something that could only be translated as confusion and disgust. Dean was instantly devastated and terrified that Jo wouldn't be the same around him anymore. "I thought only married people were allowed to kiss," she said. Dean chuckled mostly out of nerves and a little out of amusement. "Yeah, you're supposed to wait, but when you love someone enough, sometimes you can't wait," Dean explained to her. She broke out into a wide smile. "Are you guys going to get married?" She asked. Dean smiled and looked at Cas who was blushing with a small private smile. "I hope so." Cas looked at Dean and Dean smiled wider. Cas smiled wide then looked at Jo. "You don't find this strange?" He asked her genuinely confused. Then she looked confused. "What's so strange about you guys being in love?" She asked completely dumbfounded at the question. Dean chuckled again. "Nothing, Jo. Nothing at all."
