Wow, long time no write, huh? So, I could go into this whole tale of all that has been happening in my life and why I haven't been writing, but I'm not. Instead, I'm going to apologize for being an ass and making all of you amazing readers wait so long for an update. I'm also going to thank all of you who have stood by this story even after such a long wait. Speaking of long wait, I'm going to stop talking now. So enjoy the next few chapters of Raging Spirits.

***BELLA POV***

"You can't seriously be leaving," Bree nearly shouts as she follows me around our cabin.

As soon as we had gotten back to camp, I went into my cabin and started packing for my trip.

"What if this is all just a trap?" she demands.

She seems near hysterics so I turn and place my hands on her shoulders to try to calm her down.

"Bree, this is the first clue that I've gotten about who I am. I have to see where it leads me," I state in a soft, but firm, voice as I turn back to packing.

"How do you know you can trust her?" she asks, and I stop packing as I stare down at my bag.

"The truth?" I ask as I turn to her, and she stares back at me. "After what I've learned, I don't know if I can trust anything she says."

"Then why are you?"

"Because even-though I don't know if I can trust her, my inner-wolf does, and it's never steered me wrong before. She was once my alpha so she did look out for me. She still did when she wasn't around, and Natalie confirmed it when I spoke to her so that has to mean something."

Bree doesn't say anything so I go back to packing. When I'm finished, I throw my bag over my shoulder and walk towards the door.

"There's nothing I can say to make you stay, is there?" Bree asks with a soft voice, and I bite my lip.

'Don't turn around,' I think to myself because I know there's going to be tears in her eyes.

"Bella," she calls in a hesitant voice.

"I'm sorry, Bree," I say before walking out the door and closing it behind me.

The camp is quiet; the members of the squad either sleeping or patrolling. Given that it's two in the morning, I couldn't blame them. I should be sleeping too, but I need to leave now because I won't in the morning. Walking to the forest, I step just inside when someone speaks up.

"Bell?" I turn to see Lewis standing behind me.

"What're you doing up, bud?" I ask as I kneel in front of him. "It's way passed your bedtime."

"Nightmare," he answers as he rubs his eyes with one hand while the other clutches a stuffed lion close to him.

"What was it about?" I ask, remembering how his dreams were always different.

"You were in trouble. Bad men were hurting you, and they wouldn't stop," he answers with a sniffle as he rubs his head against his toy.

"Hey, it's ok, bud," I whisper as I pull him towards me in a hug. "I'm still here and perfectly fine."

"But you're leaving," he cries into my shoulder.

I'm not surprised that he knows this. Khalin believes Lewis' dreams are glimpses of the future, and this has been proven true before.

"I'll be back as soon as I can," I reply in a soft voice. "I promise."

Lewis doesn't move, but his crying turns into soft sniffles.

"I don't want you to go," he sniffs, and I sigh softly.

"I know, bud. I know," I whisper as I pick him up. "Come on; let's go put you back to bed."

I walk towards Anthony's cabin, knowing he was on patrol, before slipping inside, humming softly to hopefully put Lewis to sleep. I know it works when his sniffles stop, so I place him in his bed. Lewis snuggles closer to his stuffed lion, and I smile softly at his adorableness.

"Good night, bud," I whisper with a soft kiss to his forehead before making my way back to the door.

I freeze at the door when he speaks up in a soft, half-asleep voice.

"Goodnight, Mama. I love you."

I blink before glancing back at the little boy. His eyes are closed, and his breathing is soft. I almost think I misheard him, but I know I didn't.

"I love you too, Lewis," I finally say once I can speak again, before exiting the cabin.

A shaky breath passes through my lips as I softly close the door behind me.

"I hope you know what you're doing," a voice speaks up from behind me, and I flinch before turning to face the speaker.

"You aren't going to try to stop me, Shadow?" I ask in confusion.

He shrugs from his place of leaning against the side of the cabin.

"I don't particularly like it, but you're old enough to make your own decisions, Bella, and I won't stand in the way of that."

"Are you sure you're sixteen?" I ask with a small, amused smile. He smiles back, but says nothing so I speak again. "Watch after them for me?"

"Always," he answers with a nod.

"Tell the others that I'm sorry, but I need to do this."

"I understand, and they will too. Now go before they come."

"Thanks, Shadow. I owe you."

"What's family for?" he smiles slightly, and I smile back before quickly running off into the forest in search of my lost memory.
