AN: Hey guys hope you are enjoying the story I'm actually having a good time writing it just wish people would write a review more often. Chapter 8: The Plan
(Itachi's POV)
I sped thru the village trying my best to make it to the hospital. I could feel her body grow a bit colder with every passing minute. I tightened my grip on her body holding her closer to my chest. I carried her the entire way afraid of someone taking her from me. Once the hospital was in sight I used my chakra to enhance my speed. I reached the hospital doors.
"Where is Shizune-san I need her quick Sakura was attacked," I ordered watching as they brought out a gurney to place her on it.
I watched as they took her away. I walked to the waiting room and waited for the news. I could still feel her body in my arms as I carried her. A small drop fell on my knee.
'Am I crying I never cry,' I thought rubbing the tears away making sure no one saw.
"Itachi how's Sakura," I looked up to see my Otouto.
"They haven't told me anything," I responded.
"What happened to my daughter," I heard another ask.
I looked up to see Sakura's father standing besides my parents. "She was attacked by sound ninjas in her own home…they have been after her for years and I've been protecting her…I wasn't there to protect her and for that I apologize," I answered bowing.
"Uchiha-san it's ok I just want to know if she will be alright I can't lose her too…I already lost her mother I can't lose her too," he sighed.
I sat back down as he sat next to me. His hands covered his face as tears started to fall from his eyes. I stared at the floor and waited. We waited patiently her friends arrived once Sasuke had gone to tell them the news. The Hokage had already gone into the room to work on her. I turned to the side to see the Hokage walking our way.
"How is she Hokage-sama," I asked hoping for good news.
"She will be alright…She had different types of poisons in her system…she managed to use all her chakra just to heal part of her wounds, summon Katsuyu and try to make it to your house," she answered.
"Can I see her?"
"Yes she has been calling for you since she woke up,"
I walked into the room to find her sitting on the bed, her body well bandaged and hair tied to the side. I walked to her and sat on the edge of her bed. She turned to me, I looked in her eyes to see that she was lost.
"Sakura…I promise to get him back…I promise you with all my life," I said placing my hand on her cheek.
"Itachi…please get him back for me," she cried tears running down her cheeks.
"No we will get him back you should be out tonight and tomorrow we will get our Kaoru back," I said brushing her tears away.
"Hai," she cried as I pulled her into a kiss.
She wrapped her arms around my neck bringing me closer to her. I wrapped mine around her waist and brought her to my lap. She pulled away and started to cry on my shoulder. I nudge my nose in her hair taking in everything. Once she stopped crying she stared at me.
"Itachi we have to get him back if Orochimaru gets him to use his kekei genkai he will convince him to use it on me and I don't want to harm him," she said rubbing her tears away.
"I know just rest…get some sleep I will form a plan with Nara and tomorrow we will go…After all Kaoru won't be so easily convinced especially since he has a mother like you," I smiled softly.
"Ok but don't leave me please," she whined lying back on the bed.
"I won't I'm just going to tell Tsunade something…I will be back in a bit…now sleep Sakura," I said giving her a kiss on the forehead.
"Ok," she mumbled closing her eyes. I walked out of the room to find everyone sitting down.
"She is fine…We have to get Kaoru back, Hokage-sama is it ok if I talk to Nara about the plan to get Kaoru back," I asked.
"It is fine we need Kaoru back he is important to everyone especially Sakura," she answered.
"Alright then Nara let's meet in half an hour at the Anbu headquarters, Sasuke take mother and father to the house I will be getting home late," I ordered.
"Hai Uchiha-san," Nara sighed walking away.
I waited for everyone to leave before walking back into the room and to her bed. I brushed her hair to the side and sat with her for a while. She looked so tired and stressed, I placed a soft kiss on her forehead before leaving the room.
I made my way to Anbu headquarters to meet with Nara as well as try to come up with a plan to get Kaoru back for Sakura. It took a while to get there since I was walking, once in the building I headed to our usual planning room and walked in. I found Nara, Sasuke, Naruto, Kakashi and Shisui around a table.
"Itachi," they greeted going back to the plan.
"What have you come up with," I asked walking to the table.
"We have already formulated a plan, Hokage-sama has approved we just need our medic and we can leave," Nara answered.
"We shall meet at the gates early tomorrow morning…I must now go get Sakura," I said
I transported out of the hospital, picked up Sakura and transported us back to her house. I set her on the bed before transporting to my house to get the stuff needed for tomorrow before transporting back to Sakura's house. I set my bags on the floor before sitting next to her on the bed.
"We will get him back,"
"Itachi,"
"Come get some sleep tomorrow we have a long journey," I smiled softly pulling her down to the bed and covering us with the covers.

Sorry guys I haven't update I am terribly sorry TT-TT I have been busy with school and my idiotic cousin is causing me so many problems TT-TT it's just been terrible since the last time I updated. I will try my best to update soon. Oh and if anyone knows of a fanfiction of Fairy Tail where in the first chapter Gray goes to Natsu's and Wendy's house to get help to find Lucy only to find her jumping from a ledge to commit suicide and then she gets disowned by her family and Gray is her brother and stuff…Oh Loke is her ex and Lissana is Natsu's ex…Oh and don't forget to R&R
