AN: Hey guys hope you are enjoying the story. I know I haven't updated much but I've been obsessing with Fairy Tail…no joke seriously. I've been tumbling my OTP and stuff and I apologize for not updating anytime sooner. I plan to write about 2-3 more chapters for this story before starting on a different one mostly like it will be Fairy Tail. So here you go Chapter 10 of Limited Love.

Chapter 10 The Battle Part 2

We continued our way to the hide out and separated our different ways. Sakura and I stayed together while the others stayed together in their own group. We stopped on top of a branch together my arm around her waist holding her close. I looked at her to see her staring at the hide out determined.

"Remember our promise," I whispered causing her to look up at me.

"Hn, I won't," she smiled.

"Be safe," I whispered placing a kiss on her forehead.

I pulled away only to be pulled down by the collar her lips pressed on mine her emerald eyes closed shut as she held me close. I didn't know how to react so the only thing I could do was respond to her kiss.

"Now lets go get Kaoru back and kick some ass," she smirked once she pulled away.

"Hai," I smirked as we readied our positions.

Once I gave the signal the battle began. Shuishi, Kakashi and Sasuke dropped from the tree and started to attack. It didn't take us long to infiltrate the area. Sound ninjas appeared all over the place the farther we went in.

"Itachi this way," Sakura yelled turning a corner.

I followed her knowing she had a connection with Kaoru. I continued to follow her until we reached a door. She kicked it open to be met with Orochimaru, Kabuto and Kaoru. Kaoru was strapped to a chair while Orochimaru smirked. Kaoru had some cuts and bruises on his body as he was strapped to the chair.

"What did you do to him," Sakura growled.

"Ah Sakura-chan you made it…I was hoping you would get here soon this child has been nothing but disobedient," Orochimaru sneered.

She quickly went to attack. Orochimaru jumped back farther away from Kaoru. I quickly took the chance to attack him while she took care of Kabuto.

(Sakura's POV)

I could feel my heart clench at the scene in front of me. My Kaoru was strapped to a chair cut and bruised. My blood boiled as I ignored what Orochimaru said and ran to him. Once he was far away I worked my way on Kabuto.

"I see you are mad. Is it because of this kid," he said as I continued to land a punch or kick to him.

I quickly did a turn and kicked him hard enough to land him against the wall. I quickly went to Kaoru and untied him. I held him close and healed his wounds.

"I'm sorry I won't leave you ever again, I'm sorry," I cried holding him close.

" -san, you…came," he mumbled lifting his tiny arms.

"I'm sorry I'm late Itachi didn't want to let me go on my own," I smiled holding him close.

"Tou-san is here," he said a spark in his eyes.

"Yup he's busy right now. Now I want you to do that jutsu I taught you. Do you remember which one I'm talking about," I asked looking into his eyes.

"Hai, but who do I think of," he asked confused.

"Um, oh think of Sasuke, he should with my clone. Remember stay with my clone at all times don't let anyone near you and if they do use your jutsu ok," I said giving him a quick kiss on the forehead.

"Ok, bye Kaa-san," he smiled before doing the jutsu.

I smiled as he disappeared. Kabuto was getting up from where I had thrown him to and walked to him. He was having a hard time getting up from the rubble. I cracked my knuckles as I slowly made my way up to him. I could see his pained expression as I got closer and closer.

"You will pay for hurting my Kaoru," I growled picking him up by the collar and punched him once more causing him to fly out of the area.

I made my way out of the clearing to find him standing up. He had his scalpel ready and set. He came at me faster than usual and sliced my side lightly.

"Awe now Itachi is going to get mad," I sneered as I readied to attack.

It took a while for me to take him down. He was finally out of chakra and I still had a bit left. I had made sure to close his reserves every time I got close enough. After one last kick to the side Kabuto was out. I made sure to seal him in a scroll before searching for Itachi. I looked around for the guy that stole my heart. I couldn't find him my heart was racing so fast that it felt like it was going to jump out. I continued to search for him jumping over rubble and dead bodies.

'Itachi where are you. Please be safe,'

I continued to run until I saw a familiar body. It was Orochimaru he was on the floor a katana stabbed in his chest. I looked up to see Itachi standing not that far from the body. He had a couple of scratches not as many as I did but still. I ran to him and jumped him. I wrapped my arms around his neck and held him close.

"Are you hurt," he asked placing his arms around my back.

"Yes, just some scratches what about you," I answered my face hidden from him.

"I got some injuries that might need some medical care," he said patting my head.

"Let's go home Itachi," I smiled as we walked out of the hideout.

"Tou-san, Kaa-san,"

We looked up to see Kaoru running up to us. All the ninjas had been disposed off when Itachi and I had walked out.

"Kaoru," I smiled picking up the little boy.

"Kaa-san can we go home already," he said wrapping his arms around my neck.

"Yes, let's go home," I smiled as we took off back to the village.

It didn't take us long to get back to the village. Once at the village Itachi and I reported to the Hokage while the others went home. I still had Kaoru in my arms as we entered the Hokage's office.

"I see you have returned and the mission was a success," Tsunade noted.

"Hai Tsunade-sama, I also managed to capture Kabuto," I said handing her the scroll.

"Good, you are dismissed Uchiha I expect a report in three days notice," She said dismissing us.

We walked out of her office and made our way out the building. I still held Kaoru in my arms while Itachi stayed by my side.

"You broke your promise," he said.

"Huh, what do you mean," I asked confused.

"You got hurt so now you have to do whatever I say for a month,"

"Ha fine what is your first request," I asked as we walked down the empty streets.

"I want you to let me sleep at your house tonight," he ordered.

I smiled softly as I took hold of his hand and headed back to the house.
