Chapter 3: Detention
Later that Night:
"Hermione, come on!" yelled Harry as they were running down to the dungeons.
"I'm coming, Harry," Hermione replied as she tried to keep with him.
When they made it to Snape's class room they stopped, knocked on the door and stood there waiting to be told to enter.
"Enter" said Snape, grading papers and not having moved from his desk.
"Miss Granger, I want you organize the potion ingredients by hand. No magic, understand?" asked Snape as he looked up at her and pointed to the potion pantry for student use.
"Yes, sir I understand," Hermione answered in response as she walked over the pantry.
"Mr. Potter, I want you to clean all the cauldrons by hand without magic, understand?" asked Snape with a glance over at Hermione to see if she was using her wand.
"Yes, sir I understand," Harry answered as he was walking over to the cauldrons.
Two hours later, Harry and Hermione were finished with their assigned tasks. When they walked up to Professor Snape and asked if they could be dismissed to go to Gryffindor Tower.
"You may be dismissed," spoke Professor Snape as he went back to his desk.
Later up in Gryffindor Tower:
"Hey, Ron we're back," Hermione announced as she went to sit on the couch.
"What did the Bat of the Dungeons make you do?" asked Ron, with a look up at Harry.
"He made me clean all the cauldrons and Hermione had to organize the potion ingredients in the student pantry by hand. No magic was allowed." Harry tells him.
"Well we have a long day tomorrow so let's head off to bed," Hermione stated as she got up from the couch and made her way over to the girl dormitory stairs.
