Rock was awoken that night by the sound of footsteps.
There were people-who sounded very much like mercenaries entering his apartment building. The Japanese man sighed and sat up before calmly starting to get changed.
He put in a clean shirt and a new pair of trousers, put on his tie and quickly washed his face before taking a seat on his living room couch
The team finally kicked down his door and entered the living room
"Come out with your hands-!" their leader shouted and rock simply put up his hands "what the—"
"You were too loud" rock told them simply before starting to observe them.
He was glad he had sent Revy home earlier or this would have been a bloodbath. The badges on their clothes clearly showed that they were with the Japanese police force and rock knew very well how easily Revy would have been able to get through them
He had to hand it to then though, for a nationally employed unit they were actually not half bad at covert intrusion.

Akihayde Kumagi looked outside of his office's bulletproof window in anticipation, this was taking too long.
Suddenly the door to his office opened and one of his subordinates entered
"It has been done, sir" the man said immediately bowing. He was the chief of police for this region and was completely under the chairman's control
"Good, you" he said pointing to a random employee "call my daughter and put her on loudspeaker"
The employee bowed before quickly completing the task. He then brought the phone over and waited for Reina to pick up.

"Hello?"
"Hello darling" Akihayde greeted "I did what you said"
"Oh daddy, thank you" she said happily
"Can I ask why you wanted him locked up, particularly?"
"I heard that you were locking horns with Roanapur and found out that Rokuro had links to some of the bosses there" she said.
It wasn't a total lie
"I don't want him hurt, you hear daddy?" Reina said firmly "he is my brother in law"
"Ok, ok" her father laughed, he knew full well how his daughter felt for Rokuro
"good" Reina smiled as she looked down at the engagement ring on her finger then down at the bag of arsenic she had had her father's staff give her. "I have to go now daddy"
"Bye darling" her father said before hanging up
Reina's malicious smile widened as she poured the bag of chemicals into her husband's drink and then left it on the counter for him to have before leaving a note and exiting the house.
"Just a little while longer~" she sang to herself as she escaped from the soon to be crime scene.

Ronny walked into Hotel Moscow's designated meeting room with Eda, he knew it was important business if everyone had come here and got to sit down around one table
"What's the jaws doing here?" a man who Ronny immediately despised asked, his sheer presence made Ronny's skin crawl. He was obviously British but there were limited Americans in the city and Ronny was sure he knew all of them
"I invited him" balalaika said coldly and the man's condescending smirk dropped, he nodded before sitting in silence, he obviously was some sort of diplomat as his guards wore badges, but why was he here?
"Are we going to start now?" Chang asked leaning back in his chair and balalaika cracked a small smile
"yes" the Russian smiled before throwing a file on the table "most of you know what this is about but I shall explain for those of you who don't" balalaika started as Eva silently counted all the different fractions "Roanapur is currently undergoing the transformation to become its own country due to the unwanted attention we've recently garnered from the international community" she stated
"What?" Eva questioned "no fucking way!"
"That's what I said!" Ronny the jaws exclaimed and the two shared a juvenile laugh which was stopped by balalaika glaring at both.
"As I was saying Roanapur is becoming its own country with its own currency and own diplomatic system, the system was decided by myself, Chang and all the other biggest corporate leaders" balalaika continued "it'll be a corparatocracy" she finished "or a para-corparatocracy at the very least"
"A what?" Ronny questioned
"a government ruled by business interests" sister Yolanda stated looking around the room "I'm assuming hotel Moscow will be the primary controller of Roanapur and its business, Chang will come second then the rest if free game"
"Right" Balalaika smiled wickedly "but we have a problem, the other countries are concerned about me and Chang's relationship and a rift building between the triads and hotel Moscow"
"We've convinced the other diplomats to put money into the transformation so they don't want to see it go south" the diplomat stated "now, i want to know what it is you're going to do to stop this from doing so"
"So we need an answer" Ronny sighed "what about—"
"I've already come up with one" balalaika stated before looking to Chang
"The answer is plain and simple" Chang smirked "marriage"
The room was then filled with an uncomfortable and shocked silence until Ronny broke it
"How's a wedding gonna stop all this from falling apart?" jaws questioned frowning
"simple" Chang stated "we've already decided that hotel Moscow gets to own the existing bosses in the area and what they do, and i get to focus more on trade and control what is sold and what is not, although balalaika can veto me at any time" Chang elaborated "now all we need is a peace agreement from the head of each sector"
"So...you two are getting married? congrads" Eva snickered
"No" balalaika chuckled "rock and Revy are"
"...come again?" Ronny frowned "that isn't for real is it?"
"Yea Dutch told me it was all some brilliant plot to fool rocks mother" Eva explained "bitch is dying"
"Let us explain" balalaika said
"You see, the closest thing I've ever had to a daughter is Revy" Chang said leaning forward and lacing his hands together "and if say she seriously hooked up with Rock who's position to the international committee had been introduced as Balalaika's most trusted person and possible inheritor of Hotel Moscow earlier today..."
"then all our problems will be solved" balalaika finished "of course the wedding will not take place until after Roanapur has undergone the change but it's happening, and the other nations will be reassured that we're at peace if we announce it as real to all the factions and cut down on fights against each other"
"wait. Why them?" the leader of the Colombians finally piped up
"Yea?" Eva said "it seems like an odd choice"
"because those two are well known" sister Yolanda stated "it won't be weird if they suddenly decided to get married and if it was revealed that Balalaika was planning on letting rock take her place as he already sits in on most of her business, and also Revy was already a candidate for owning the triads after Chang kicks the bucket"
"She was a candidate?" Eva questioned in surprise as she turned her attention to Chang
"3rd on the list" Chang stated I had figured that Rock could stay by her side and help her with all the business side of things and she'd do all the dirty work but this works too"
"either way" balalaika said bringing the conversation back to where it was "this means that all of you have to tread carefully from now on and not deliberately try to piss off another faction or I will kick you out of the city" Balalaika stated sharply "this is the only place in the world where you can make 100 thousand grand in one night—legally-and it would be a shame if it disappeared"
There were murmurs of agreement.
"Good, now—" Chang started but he was stopped by the door opening
"Miss. Balalaika!" a young boy exclaimed
"Oh lord…what did you do now Adam?" balalaika sighed unhappily
"I—wait. No. this isn't about me!" he exclaimed "well it starts off that way…." He said thought fully before coming up to the table of people "I was watching Japanese news and rock appeared on screen. They've arrested him for terrorism!"
"What?" balalaika questioned flatly
"This is bad…" Yolanda sighed
"We're going to have to go get him….aren't we?" the young boy asked "not that I don't want to go get onii-san but—"
"No" balalaika stated firmly
"No?" Eva questioned "he can't be part of the plan if he's in jail!"
"I didn't say he was staying in jail" balalaika smiled wickedly "I think it's time for me to make my formal debut"
"You mean show your face to the international community?" Chang laughed before getting up "I'm coming too"
"Good, I'll need you there with me. Baby" balalaika smiled as she passes Adam who eagerly followed behind his boss
"The meeting is over" balalaika called back as Adam shut the door behind her.

I didn't forget I just wanted to read through it a bit before I posted it t's all
Also I think that I've played rock's character as calmer because I feel like he would be the type of old person whose 'seen it all' and is calm in any situation. Also after his time in Roanapur he would have learned not to panic.
