Revy knocked angrily on Ryoichi's door. She had stopped by rock's parent's house to see I the ring was there but they had told her Reina had it for safekeeping.
The gunslinger sighed angrily as nobody came and then took out a hairpin and started trying to pick the lock. Her plans failed however as the door was already open
"Hey, Ryoichi?" she called in the sweetest tone she could muster while entering the house.
She felt out of place there, everything was clean. There were nice pictures of the couple all around the house and something felt…off.
As if it didn't belong.
Maybe it was a feeling in the air or maybe it was just her.
Revy walked into the living room where Ryoichi was on the couch. His breathing was all wrong in a way that scared Revy.
"Hey…brother in law?" she said unsurely as she went over.
There was vomit and blood everywhere and his skin looked deathly pale.
"r-Reina?" he said gently and Revy immediately headed for his house phone and called sawyer, this guys seemed like a cold bastard but there was something in his eyes.
Something that she had taken from rock a long time ago….and it terrified her.
"Hello?" Lotton greeted
"Where's sawyer wizard, I've got an emergency down at Rock's brother's house"
"I'll bring her over" Lotton said in a serious voice "just give me an address"
Revy liked the fact that he could become serious and think things through at the flip of a switch
"R-Revy?" Ryoichi said gently I-I need…."
Revy bit her bottom lip as she considered what to do, she couldn't well scream at this pussy to man up. He wasn't a part of her world he was pretty damn normal.
So she made like rock would have in that situation.
Revy hushed rock's older brother and sat by his side while being careful not to touch anything "help is on the way" she said reassuringly.

Rock sat in a full scale prison looking down at a book he had been handed by a kind warden, he had put him in there after deeming him 'too dangerous to just put in any holding cell'.
"Hey, you" someone called and rock looked over, it was a group of very heavily built men.
"Yes?" he questioned politely as the men approached. In Roanapur you learned quickly not to fear all the burly men that came charging down the street at you, sometimes they were just big teddy bears who wanted a friendly chat.
"You look like the normal sort" their leader stated wrapping an arm around rock's neck in a friendly manner "what're you in for?"
"terrorism, I think" rock stated while being careful not to lose his cool, these guys looked ok but in prison they could smell fear and decided who was going to be everyone else's bitch in the first day of their arrival
"You think?" the leader laughed "I like this guy" he told his group before taking his arm away "names Ren"
"Rock"
"Nice name" one of Ren's subordinates laughed
"Got it in Roanapur" rock mentioned passively and their smiles dropped,
'You gotta make sure they know not to fuck with you' Revy's voice rang in his mind
Roanapur was a fairy tail that circulated around prisons, it was that place people heard of but never wanted to go even if they were in for the most brutal of crimes. The city itself was like a prison, just a place for the world to shove the underworld
"You're an assassin aren't you?" Ren asked
"no, a businessman…well I do a lot of things" rock said looking up before giving a sigh "to be honest they had no right to put me in here since they don't have anything on me" rock told the group before looking back down at his book
"Incredible" Ren chuckled "I used to be a businessman myself" he stated taking a seat next to rock and taking away his book "for the Kumagi group"
This made rock frown
"I know them, I used to date the bosses daughter" rock said
"Dirty bastards the lot of them" Ren then continued "they did some underhanded shit to get to the top then dumped me in here so that I would keep my mouth shut"
"Underhanded, like what?" rock pressed
"laundered money, stole from smaller companies and competitors, stole from investors and sold a lot of illegal stuff" Ren told the Japanese businessman "and that's just the tip of the iceberg, I'm surprised I wasn't killed but at the time they couldn't afford an official investigation into their company….then they just sort of forgot"
"Interesting…." Rock said gently
"and I got all the evidence stashed away in my basement, my wife Hana would never throw it away but she's always been too scared to go up against the group….who can blame her"
"I—" rock started but then the warden appeared
"Rokuro Okajima" he said looking directly at rock, it was hard for him not to know who he was as he was the smallest of the group and bore no tattoos "you've got a visitor"
"you do me a favour rock" Ren said "when you're eventually let outta here you find my wife and tell her to show you my stuff then give it to the police, I want those bastards to go down"
"I'll do my best" Rock said looking back before he was taken out of the main prison and into the staff corridors.
Rock was taken through the corridors to a neat little meeting room where a familiar face was waiting
"Get in there" the warden ordered and rock entered he had hoped that his little visitor would be Revy or Shenhua or really…anyone from Roanapur—god didn't he not want to face his parents—but instead there was a woman he had already decided to try and avoid as much as possible.
"Leave" Reina said coldly and the warden bowed before leaving the two alone "hello Rokuro" she smiled as rock took a seat
"Reina-san" she sighed at the use of a honorific
I wouldn't start distancing myself if the person who held the key to my future was sat right in front of me and ready to offer me a deal for my life"
Rock frowned
"You put me in here?"
"I did" Reina smiled
"Why? What could you possibly gain by-"
"shhhh" Reina chuckled "just listen rock" she cooed
She then got up and went to the other side of the room where he was sitting before easily settling in his lap
"I love you Rokuro" she smiled bringing her hand up to his face and revealing that she had the engagement ring on "more than anything in the world, and I don't want to see you rot away in a prison cell so….I'm going to give you a choice"
"Forget it"
"you haven't even heard what it is" Reina said coldly lowing her hand to his neck before letting out a deep breath and bringing it back up to his face "if you call off the wedding with that whore and marry me instead then I'll tell them to let you go."
"I said forget it Reina, you're married to my brother"
"He's already been taken care of" the words were said in a way that rock had grown to understand very well in his three years of living in Roanapur
"What did you do to him?" rock asked with tranquil fury
"It doesn't matter, all that matters is that we can be together" she told him as she wrapped her arms around him and moved her legs so that she was straddling him.
"I don't want to be with you Reina I love Rebecca" rock said firmly.
It felt almost like a relief to say those words out loud. He loved her.
He honestly did
"I can have her taken care of too" Reina stated
"you can't and you know it" rock countered, Revy was one of the 5 greatest women of Roanapur who everyone knew not to fuck with, the other four being balalaika, Shenhua, sawyer and Roberta who was only really counted so that people knew that when she came to town they had to stay the fuck away from her
"Why are you being so difficult?" Reina questioned running her lips up his neck
"Because you're fucking crazy!" rock said angrily and Reina immediately had her hands around his neck, rock didn't flinch or try to pull her away. He didn't want to be labelled the villain in this
"Crazy in love with you" she told him before kissing him, rock didn't respond. Not one bit.
Reina eventually pulled her lips away and got off of him
"I'll ask you every week rock, every week until you say yes" she told him before leaving the room. The warden then came back in and took him to the prison
"You ok?" Ren questioned starting at rock's neck which was bleeding slightly from where Reina had dug her nails into his skin
"Fine" rock stated "and I'll be out soon, all I've got to do is wait for my fiancée to figure out where I am"
"She from Roanapur too?" Ren asked
"Yea, but she's no businesswoman" Rock smiled.

Wow that was weird.
When I first wrote this I never intended for reina to be so crazy but it was fun to write so I went with it :D
Anyway sorry for it being updated a bit late, idk what happened.
