Revy sat in Ryoichi's hospital room waiting for him to come to, she had been by his side since she'd found him passed out in his own blood and vomit.
She had gotten sawyer on the scene immediately and her intervention had saved his life, they only brought him to the hospital at Lotton's request.
The Japanese man groaned and reached out for something as his eyes opened
"Reina?" he said in hoarse voice as he took Revy's hand
"Not quite" Revy said looking down at him
"w-where?" Ryoichi questioned looking around, he was obviously in immense pain but he seemed very concerned as to where he was
"You're in hospital" Revy told him as she slowly eased him back into lying position "we think your bitch wife poisoned your drink with a whole bunch of arsenic"
"Reina wouldn't…" Ryoichi said in a voice that was unconvincing "I thought that, even if she loved him she'd stay with me…."
"Him? You mean rock" it was more of a statement than anything, Revy had seen the way she looked at him and paid close attention to what he did.
"Yes" Ryoichi said "why is it that he always ends up getting lucky?" he breathed as he looked up at the ceiling blankly "god…now I'll have to file for a divorce"
"I thought you loved her"
"I'm in love, not crazy" Ryoichi smiled in a way that rock sometimes smiled, it was crazy and heartbroken but very reasonable
"You two are very alike" Revy commented
"Thank you" Ryoichi smiled
"You're welcome"
"No, I mean. Thank you" he repeated looking down at her hand "fore being here"
"It's nothing buddy" Revy said "if there's anyone you should be thanking its sawyer, bitch had you flushed at your apartment and it saved your life"
"I'll make sure to give her my thanks" Ryoichi stated letting go of Revy's hand "after I recover"
"Right" Revy nodded before getting up "I'll be going then, rocks probably wondering where I am" she said mostly to herself before leaving the room.
As she did she spotted a familiar boy running towards her
"Miss. Revy!" he shouted as he came up to her "you're alive" he said happily
"Hello Adam" Revy greeted "nice to see you too"
"See. We went to check your apartment but it had been blown up and so we told Miss balalaika and she was like REALLY mad and now she's on T.V"
Revy frowned as Adam dragged her into Ryoichi's hospital room and turned on the T.V set
On the screen appeared balalaika and Chang in some sort of press conference
"Some of you have asked us how we will keep the peace between our factions in Roanapur" balalaika said into the microphone "well, our peace will be kept by our children" she stated before Chang stepped forward
"my daughter Rebecca and balalaika's own inheritor of the hotel Moscow Rokuro Okajima will be getting married soon" Chang smiled "once we talk to the Japanese government about the wrongful imprisonment of the groom then the wedding will happen as planned and both businesses will merge as one"
"Holy shit" Revy breathed
"So your marriage was political?" Ryoichi questioned from his bed and Adam shrieked as he realised that there was someone else in the room before taking out a tranquiliser gun and dropping all the ammo
"Oh, wait. I can do this" he said picking them up one by one
"He's rocks brother" Revy informed the young man before he hurt himself
"Oh…" he said slowly before once again dropping all the ammo
"Clumsy one isn't he?" Ryoichi said staring at Adam pitifully
"Yea but the kid can flip like a switch and take down an entire cartel" Revy stated angrily "all he needs is to get in the zone" she then stormed over to a phone and started to make a call
All the while Ryoichi continued to focus on Adam who was fumbling around and trying to put away his tranquiliser darts but failing miserably
"Well….life is what it is" he breathed before turning his attention back to the T.V.

Balalaika sat in her limousine waiting…waiting….
Ring.
"Hello Revy" balalaika smiled
"You used us you fucking BITCH!" Revy snapped "and what the fuck is all this about rock being in fucking JAIL?"
"That's just a temporary situation" balalaika stated "and be happy, this unification makes you the head of the triads in Roanapur"
"of course you'll have to undergo some strict training when we get you two back to Roanapur safely….if we get you back safely" Chang added loudly in the background
"What do you mean if?" Revy questioned just as the sound of gunshots filled the hospital
"Just follow Adam" Balalaika said before hanging up
Beeeep
"What the hell is going on?" Revy asked turning to Adam
"Oh, yea. Sorry sis" he said sheepishly as he started to throw clothes at Ryoichi "seems like a lot of people don't want your marriage to onii-san to happen"
"Shit" Revy spat before going to the door and listening. There were very heavy footsteps which meant that these guys were armed like a S.W.A.T team.
Ryoichi heaved himself out of his bed and removed the IV before quickly starting to change.
"Look" Revy said quickly "people are about to die big bro so you better be ready for this"
"I am" Ryoichi told Revy as he let out a pained breath "let's go"
Revy held up a finger which signalled the pair to be as quiet as possible and Adam handed Ryoichi the tranquiliser gun before taking out a simple handgun for himself
The sound of loud marching filled the otherwise quiet corridor as the troops piled up outside the room then Revy went up to the window before starting to run towards the door.
She kicked it down easily and then the bullets started to fly.
God, Ryoichi had never seen so much blood.
Here these guys were all armoured up and ready to strike but she took them by surprise and fucked them up the ass.
"Come on" Revy snapped running forward, Adam made sure Ryoichi was sandwiched between the two of them as they moved through the empty halls of the hospital
"Where are we going" Ryoichi asked as he his stomach started to hurt like fucking hell
"They're camping the front" Revy told him "so we're leaving via side entrance" she smiled as she shot down two more agents who had been guarding their door.
Adam took out a walkie-talkie and said something into it in Russian as they emerged from the building. All of a sudden a car came around the corner as fast as fuck and sped down the street before stopping in front of them
"Get in" Lotton ordered and they all did as told immediately.
Ryoichi was sure he heard some of the Agents shouting and taking shots at them as they left but he didn't care.
He was safe, or at least he felt that way when Revy was near.
"Who is this?" Shenhua asked looking over at Ryoichi as sawyer took out a sniper rifle and started shooting at any oncoming enemy vehicle
"We've met" Ryoichi reminded her
"Oh yea, rock's government brother" the Taiwanese beauty laughed "why he here?"
"Convenience" Revy stated and Shenhua's eyes narrowed dangerously before she simply shrugged and let it go
"We need to get out of country right now" she told Revy as a few large black vehicles appeared "fucking rich guy wants you dead so he can take down Chang's hold on market"
"Really? Like I didn't figure that out already" Revy said in a sarcastic tone
"Also because Reina probably asked her dad to kill rock's fiancée" Ryoichi informed the group
"What?" Revy questioned looking over
"she can hire a bunch of guys to go after us but she tried getting rid of you with arcenic" Sawyer said in her scary monotone which seemed to hold a very mocking tone in it
"i didn't say she was very smart in such matters" Ryoichi said defensively "but she does this all the time, getting rid of what she doesn't like"
Revy opened her mouth to speak but the car then took a hard left
"Shit, guys can you take care of the guys shooting at us?" Lotton asked "before there are more civilian casualties"
"I get to go first bitch" Revy shouted poking her head out of the window before they could roshambo for it.
Ryoichi looked back out of the apparently bulletproof glass of the back of the large car at all the swerving and crashing vehicles that Revy easily took out
"These guys are too fucking easy" she smiled as she came down into the car
"where are we going?" Ryoichi questioned
"airport" Lotton said "we've got one of Hotel Moscow's special units waiting to intercept us there" he told her as he served the car dangerously "god damn it, why did that damn hippie have to go and get himself put in rehab" he snapped angrily
"My turn to take care of problem, cauz you doin shitty job" Shenhua smiled before going through the opening above her entirely and standing on top of the car
"Should she be doing that in heels?" Ryoichi questioned as he tried not to look up her dress
"It's ok" sawyer assured him as she just kept on shooting and reloading and shooting….
…oOo….
Rock watched the action happen live on the news.
His brother looking at all the damage from inside the car, Revy and Shenhua taking turns to get rid of the enemy vehicles
"That's your fiancée?" Ren questioned staring at Revy as she shot out of the right side window as Shenhua swung her blade around on a rope
"Yes" rock answered simply
"She's amazing…they all are" Ren commented "I'd love to be your older brother right now, being protected by thee beautiful women"
"Trust me it's not all you'd think it to be" rock shrugged as the main prison door opened and some police officers walked in
"Rokuro Okajima" the leader shouted and rock looked up at him
"Didn't they already call you?" Ren asked
"No. not these guys" rock told him as he raised his hand to alert the man of his position. Two guards came to him and handcuffed him before leading him out.
Rock was once again walked through the corridors of the building but this time he was led towards the exit.
When they got the transition point a man handed rock his clothes and showed him to the changing room. When rock exited a man in a more professional get up came up to him
"Arrested and jailed without due process and being falsely accused for a crime…usually we're not this clumsy" the officer told rock before bowing to him.
Outside there was a long black car with Japanese and American flags on it
"Is this really ok? The person who paid for my arrest won't be happy and may target the car" rock told the officer
"They weren't told about this" the officer assured "and they won't know until you reach a separate airport from your friends and are safely on a flight back to Roanapur"
"Thank you" rock bowed before getting back into the car, he'd go back to the city of night but he still had some work to take care of in this country.

Rock sighed as he entered his apartment in Roanapur. He was the only team member of black lagoon who hadn't lived in the company building-because it kept getting blown up-but now Revy was rooming with him to keep up appearances and because Dutch had given her room to a new recruit and put all her stuff at rocks place
"Rock?" Revy called as the Japanese man walked in, it had been a painful flight from japan to home and the many conferences after had been even more so
"Hey Revy" rock smiled "Dutch told me about the new living arrangements" he stated before coming up to her and sneaking a quick kiss on her cheek "and about our marriage"
Revy flushed before punching rock in the face
"Your brothers here too" Revy said while not looking at her fiancé "he's going to be helping out sis with the transition. Did Dutch tell you about that?"
"No" rock said looking to his left where his brother was cooking
"Don't mind me, you two can be as lovey dovey as you like" Ryoichi said happily not looking back at the two
"How are you coping?" rock asked "I mean, mom was really upset about Reina so I thought you'd be locked up somewhere with a tub of ice-cream"
"I'm doing fine" Ryoichi smiled finally looking back
"It was a loveless marriage and now he and sawyer have a thing going" Revy said dismissively
"We do not!" Ryoichi shouted before flushing "we just…enjoy each other's company"
Rock laughed "he reminds me of you"
Revy did not find that funny at all. "You wanna die?" she asked taking out her gun and aiming it on rock's chest
"Somehow I feel as if I've been here before" rock grinned.
'God it's good to be home' he thought as he closed his eyes and revy kicked him to the ground. He then started to laugh, however was a mistake seeing as it only made Revy stomp on his chest harder while shouting profanities at him.

Originally this story ends here but if you guys want I could continue it. it would take me a while to update part II—like a LONG while- though cauz i'm a busy person and because I haven't gotten it all written up like part 1 was which allowed for weekly updates.
do not think that reina's situation will be suddenly dissolved though-i liked her character so i'm probably going to keep her in the next part.
I know the ending is quick and axed for part 1 but there really wasn't much for me to do there do I just kind of went with my first draft instead of dragging this out.
Still I am proud of this :D
