Been quite awhile since I updated, but here's the fifth chapter. No copyright infringement intended.

Note: Sorry, all! The first time I posted this it did something funky. Hope it's able to be read, now! :D

Alice fell pretty far before she was caught by some branches. No, not branches. Hands. Hundreds- maybe thousands- of hands.

"You must choose a direction," a voice told her.

"What? Who said that?" Alice demanded.

"We did, of course," the voice came again. It was then that Alice noticed the hands taking the shape of a face, but... still being hands. It was as if the hands could speak if they manipulated themselves to look like a face.

"Why must I choose?" Alice asked. The hand mouth answered her.

"You cannot stay here," it said.

"Then I wish to go down, for I can't possibly go back up there," Alice reasoned. All at once all the hands let her free fall. Alice screamed. Surely a fall like this couldn't be good. Suddenly she landed with a soft thud in a marshy bog. The fog shrouding her was so thick she could hardly see. Alice came upon two identical, still figures.

"If you think we're waxworks you should pay, you know! Waxworks weren't made to be looked at for nothing. Nohow!" one figure told her.

"Contrariwise, if you think we're alive, you should speak!" the other figure told her.

"I'm dreadfully sorry," Alice apologized, "Are you two Tweedledee and Tweedledum?"

"Indeed."

"The same."

"Can you get me to the fifth square?" Alice asked the twins.

"Ooh, the fifth."

"Nasty place."

"Yes, but can you get me there?"

"Impossible."

"There's no way."

"Absolutely no."

Unless..."

"No."

"Yes."

Fine." After their little banter, the Tweedles looked at each other and then at Alice.

"We will walk," they said in unison. Before long, they made it to the fifth square.

"Hope you enjoy your stay!"

"Contrariwise!"

"The fifth square."

"Nasty place." And with that, they were gone.

Sorry that this chapter is so short, but I hope you still enjoy it! :D
