Final chapter! I hope you enjoyed the journey!
Eight squares... Eight chapters!
Alice arrived in the eighth square and was immediately greeted by an array of people. The was the White Knight with the little Humpty Dumpty, the Madhatter, the March Hare, the Dormouse, and many other people she had met along her journey.
"You are now a queen!" the Red Queen exclaimed as the White Queen put a crown on Alice's head. They seated her on a throne and then everything became eerily silent. Everyone around her started to recite a poem:
"Nedrag ym morf esor a kculp;
Roloc gnorw eht s'ti.
Eniw emos evah;
Yna t'nsi ereht.
Tibbar eht hctac;
Wets sih rof mih stnaw emiT.
Thgink eht ot klat;
Rats gninihs on s'eh.
Neeuq a eb;
Lous rouy ekat ll'ew.
...Sdrac fo kcap a tsuj lla er'ew esuaceb..."
Everyone surrounded her. Faces were spinning in Alice's vision until she collapsed. When Alice woke up, she was back in her sitting room. Her cat, Dinah, was sitting in the window. Alice got out of the chair. She then remembered the rose. Alice quickly thrust her hand into her pocket and searched for the rose. It was no where to be found. Alice was disappointed until she looked at Dinah again. The little kitten had the rose tied in her bow. Alice smiled, untied the rose, and took it to her room. She laid it next to her fairytales before settling into a dream-filled sleep full of adventure.
