Here is the official first chapter of the In Her Own Words book 1. As a reminder this is from a written role play game that me and my friends had done in high school, therefore there are a some original characters and some of the characters may be out of character some. All in all, Please enjoy!

Sakura talking in first person throughout story

A girl with dark hair walked around the village having just entered the gates. She had recently been sent back to Konoha having been told that this is where she had originally come from. She growled slightly at having to waste the time to come back here. What was the point? It was not like she had any family here. In her inward angry musings she ran into a girl with pink hair, this girl was very solid, strong, she didn't budge much when she was hit.

"I'm sorry! Are you alright?" she turned to help the dark haired girl up. After helping the dark haired girl up, the pink haired girl stared with wide eyes. The dark haired girl didn't like that she was being stared at.

"What are you staring at?" she barked.

"Toushi, Uchiha Toushi?" Toushi quirked an eyebrow at the sound of her name.

"Yes. How do you know me? Who are you?" She cautiously replied.

"You don't remember me? I'm Sakura, Haruno Sakura. I'm friends with your older brother Sasuke." Sakura said in a rush of an explanation. The dark haired girl seemed to be getting irritated. As if she was being accused of something she didn't do. That of course was most defiantly not the case though.

"I don't know you… I don't have any brothers." Toushi glared slightly at Sakura. She turned on her heel to go in search of food in this strange village that she is supposed to call her home. Sakura trotted after her in an attempt to persuade her that this was the case and that she did have a brother. No amount of persuasion was swaying this girl.

"It's been seven years! Seven long years since anyone has seen you or has even heard from you! How can you say you don't know Sasuke of all people? You guys loved and hated each other just like any good pair of siblings would." Sakura tried to explain as she overheard Toushi's stomach begin to growl.

"Let me buy you lunch and I will try to explain the best that I can. Please?"

I lead her to the ramen stand and sat with her to explain what I could to try to convince her she had family. No matter what I said she denied it… Up one side and down the other.

"I don't remember you and I don't know a Sasuke! I'm an only child!" She had since finished the gigantic bowel of ramen and was tolerating the prattling of this older girl with the weird pink hair who called herself Sakura.

"The Uchiha Clan was wiped out everyone except Sasuke was dead, that is until you walked into the village. There are only so many people who know about what happened. Sasuke doesn't exactly open up to the likes of me…" At that moment Sasuke had walked up to purchase his own bowl of ramen. Sakura practicaly jumped when she seen him walk under the banner.

"Sasuke!" She scooted of her chair and trotted over towards Sasuke. He grunted at her slightly in acknowledgement.

"hn." He nodded as well, looking her up and down slightly.

"Sasuke do you remember your sister?" She motioned behind her.

"She is back, she came home!"

"Who?" Sasuke briefly looked behind her to see whom she had been motioning towards. There was no one there. Sakura had turned around and huffed in irritation, Toushi had disappeared on her.

"Sorry to have bugged you…" Sakura skulked out of the ramen stand to run after the retreating form of Toushi. Sasuke shrugged still seated on his stool.

"Whatever…" he shrugged slightly proceeding to order what he came for.

I wasn't sure what to do at that time, by the time I had made it out of the stand she was gone. Should I have gone to speak to the Hokage? Should I have gone in search for her? If the existence of another Uchiha was shown to be true, could the village breath a sigh of relief?

Toushi had begun to walk around aimlessly for hours. Soon she had heard the enraged scream of someone. Running in that direction she came face to face with a person, whom was hanging upside down.

Orange…

Bright freaking orange jumpsuit…

"That stupid Sasuke! I'll kill him!" Toushi was finally able to focus on the boy, the boy was the same age as that Sakura girl. He was flailing his arms as if that useless flapping would help him to fly or something. He had strange markings on his cheeks, blonde hair and these crazy sky blue eye.

"Who're you!?" The blonde pointed at Toushi, yelling his question as if she couldn't hear him from the mere six feet away she stood from him.

"Toushi…" she looked at him slightly.

"…and you are?" she inquired suspiciously. Carefully watching his every movement from his suspended position.

"I AM NARUTO UZAMAKI! AND IM GOING TO BE THE NEXT HOKAGE!" The blonde shouted at the top of his lungs, crossing his arms with a smile on his face that said he believed it could actually happen. Toushi crossed her own arms staring at this loud mouth called Naruto.

"What an impossible dream, and I bet those gaudy bright colors are going to help you achieve this supposed dream huh?" She looked away slightly self conscious of her own torn up clothes. Best to get the first snipe in at least that way she was on top of this potential argument.

"I suppose you're going to need help getting down loser?" she said this as she pulled out a kunai knife.

"Who needs your help? I can do this myself." He said this as he bent himself upwards to loosen the loop that had been snared around his ankle. Toushi huffed slightly, flicking the kunai at the rope just above his foot. Leaving him to fall to the ground with a solid thump.

"Hey, now listen here kid!" Naruto said as he quickly jumped to his feet. Toushi turned on her heel to make a quick getaway who knew if this guy was actually strong. This wasn't the way to find out, not just after coming -as Temari put it- 'home'. She ran smack into Sasuke, in the progress of her quick getaway. Sasuke had felt the impact but barely budged an inch as his solid stance sent the dark haired girl to the ground.

"Watch where you're going.." He growled, he examined the girl for a moment his eyes widening slightly. Blinking a couple more times to insure that he wasn't seeing things. Why did she look so familiar to him, Sakura wasn't just trying to start conversation again… He watched as the girl got up rubbing her forehead slightly.

"That hurt…" She glared at the boy in front of her.

By the time I had caught up with Sasuke to speak with him, I had found the two Uchihas staring each other down with that trademark glare. There was no doubt that these two were related. Now to convince those two of that very fact.

"Sasuke, do you remember her?"

"Yes." Sasuke walked around Toushi as if he were going to continue on his way.

"However my sister would have never came back…" He then continued to walk away. This struck Toushi slightly… Ignoring Sasuke she focused her attention on Sakura.

"Is… is there a place I can stay?" Toushi asked quietly. Naruto whom was still present all but forgotten. Sakura smiled and took Toushi's hand.

"Sure there is."

And so there it was Toushi wound up staying with me. My parents of course would not have minded. This would become the first time that my heritage came into question. As well as why my father looked like he was an old man with all the white hair. It would later become clear, that my heritage would have everything with what would happen later on.

End of the first official chapter! I would like to make it clear that I am not sure how frequent these updates will be. I am having a bit of writers block for Sakura's Spell (I was about halfway through chapter 11) and I was just having one of my really bad insomniac nights. So I decided to do something that wouldn't need much thinking on my part and write up the first chapter of this story series. Reviews fuel my desire to keep on getting chapters for any of my stories out!
