Heh... woof I got a bunch of explaining to do. Well there ain't too much to explain I have just been extremely lazy. But the story's back and STRONGER THAN EVER! Nah that ain't either true but I made a new chapter :3 It's just a random moment that isn't even that important, but the next chapter will be of the party, so stay tuned for that ;-) Enjoy and R&R :D

CHAPTER THREE

Annabeth POV

I was in my cabin, lying on my bed and reading a book. Well, I wouldn't call it reading. I still couldn't get my mind off what had happened in the arena. Was he jealous that some other guy had come to me and attempted to ask me to be his date for the party? Or was he just being an overprotective brother that doesn't want me to date some snobby Aphrodite kid? If so then I have been put to the sister zone, which was basically where all hopes and dreams went to die.

It had been a week, and the party was tonight. I wasn't even sure I wanted to go if I didn't have a date to shove in Percys face.

I finally closed my book in frustration. I probably just needed some fresh air. So I got up from my bed and went out the door, this time looking twice so I won't happen to find another shirtless Percy waiting for me around the corner.

When the coast was clear, I just started walking. Where? I had no idea. But somehow I managed to walk towards the Aphrodite cabin, which was the last place on earth I'd want to walk past. And because of my fantabulous luck, Silena happened to be there. I was thinking about sneaking past her, but I was smart enough to forget my magical Yankees cap in my cabin.

"Hey Annabeth, wait up!" Silena screamed, walking towards me. If it were up to me, I would've wanted to run in the opposite direction as fast as I could and take a jump of joy into the darkest pits of Tartarus, but sadly I didn't have the option.

All I could do was turn around, look surprised, and try not to punch her in the face. It's not that she wasn't nice, but I've had enough of Aphrodite kids for a month. And if they somehow get to know you like someone, you might as well just put a large sign on your face where it says "I HATE MY LIFE."

"Hey Silena, what's up?" I asked with the most realistic smile I could manage.

"Not much, I just happened to figure out that Mike was cheating on Penelope with Janise, you?"

I nodded my head to show that I was super interested, but I didn't even know whom these people where. Probably some sort of celebrities that I had no idea about.

"Just been chillin." I said as casually as possible. She got a surprised look on her face.

"YOU LIKE PERCY!" she squealed. My jaw dropped. This woman was either the half blood form of Sherlock Holmes, or she was just amazing at the guessing game.

"What?", I asked. "No I'm not!"

"Yeah you are", she said casually. "It's not like you're hiding it particularly well." I looked at her completely mortified.

"Bu-bu-but", I stuttered. "I just said I was chillin!" I said with my arms flailing around. "It's not like I had a large poster wrapped around me saying that I like Percy!"

I kept babbling on for quite a while, but Silena looked quite uninterested in anything that I had to say.

"So how long have you liked him?" She said getting all giggly. Well she seemed to have completely ignored everything that I said.

I sighed. "I don't know, I don't…remember…" I answered lamely. But she didn't seem to care.

"OMG that party's is tonight! I'm sooo going to get you two together!" She screamed jumping up and down.

She suddenly got that look in her eyes that either meant that she's seeing a hot guy, or that she is about to give someone a hard time. I looked behind me, trying my best to look for a hot guy, but no one was in sight. Then I turned back and realized that she was looking straight at me. A look of pure horror crept on to my face and I started backing away.

"You know what? This was fun, but I have to go back to my cabin and do stuff so… see ya later", I said starting to back away faster. But before I got far she grabbed my arm and pulled me into the Aphrodite cabin.

The next hours went by in a blur of perfume, makeup and hairspray. I had passed out from the amount of perfume I inhaled. The Aphrodite kids must've had some sort of invisible gas mask, because they inhaled that stuff like no tomorrow.

When I woke up, the horrid smell of the perfume had faded away. Either we left the Aphrodite cabin or I had lost my sense of smell.

I looked up to find Silena standing beside me with a mirror in her hand, admiring herself. I rolled my eyes. My head was aching and I still saw black spots. I started to move and she finally noticed that I had woken up.

"Haaaay Sleeping Beauty." She said smiling. I looked around and noticed that we were in the infirmary. My head was spinning.

"Why are we here?" I asked rubbing my forehead.

"Oh it was something silly about being too long in our cabin and having your lungs filled with too much of something, blah blah blah" She said as if it were no big deal. "But now you're fine and breathing normally so everything's okay!"

I stood up and looked towards the mirror. I looked exactly the same with maybe a few minor details.

"Wait, so I nearly died from that stupid cabin and she did this little? She put me through all that for this?" I thought, starting to get frustrated. I swear, one day I'm going to take a sledgehammer and tear that cabin apart.

"Wow Silena, you did too much, I can barely recognize myself." I said with an obvious sarcastic tone.

"Hey don't blame me, it's not my face that repels make up", she said huffing. "I even tried using my Calvin Klein eye liner and that didn't work!"

"Well if THAT didn't work I guess there's absolutely nothing we can do." I said rolling my eyes.

"I know!" She answered taking me seriously.

"Well who cares, it doesn't matter." I said starting to get up. I didn't even feel like going to that stupid party anymore. I've suffered enough for a day.

"Oh no you don't!" She said pulling at my arm. "We're going, and you're going to blow Percy away!"

I tried getting away from her, but her arms were made of steel.

"Haha stop being silly, it'll be fun!" She laughed.

"Define fun." I said, crying on the inside.
