"Hey so do you want to hang out after school?" Simon asked as he caught up to me in the hallway. I looked at him and for once i didn't see the charm i normally saw in Simon. I dismissed it and put on a smile.

"Maybe not tonight, I think i'm going to hang with Izzy today." I said continuing the walk to my locker not meeting his eyes after my small delusion.

"Oh," he said sounding slightly deflated. he was silent yet still walked by my side.

"I think we are going to go to her house and just chill there." I said trying to make his mood better, " Your welcome to come, you know. Hang with Alec and Magnus."

" no, no, its all right. I might as well go home, keep my mother company." He said pitifully leaning his back against the locker beside mine. I smiled."

"Well, she could use it," I said accusingly. "you hardly hang with her anyway."

Well, hey, I got to put my girl first. Even before the family" He said sarcastically. I just gave him a look before heading off and wasting my free hour.

When the bell rang, Izzy found me on record time. "You ready?"

"Yes, I have only been waiting for you." I said as we walked to the parking lot. Me, Alec, Magnus, Izzy, and Jace all cramming into one car. Which I say was very well played by the perks of being the drivers boyfriend since i was stuck in the back middle between jace and izzy.

I wouldn't go to say it was awkward but there was definitely tension. I don't think anybody noticed but me and him though since Izzy still talked the whole way back. How many words can be fit into a 10 minute drive?

Once at the house, I instantly hit the game room for which i knew we would continue our last battle. On the biggest TV screen you could possibly find in Best Buy with the most comfortable round couch in the history of ass comfort, we all sat and continued our video game matches playing games from Call of Duty to Mario Bros. I must admit that this time it was different. Of course there were still five of us, but instead of Simon there was Jace. The competitiveness was the same and a new name was added to the scoreboard which we kept on a whiteboard on the wall. He had some serious scores to catch up on but he wasn't doing horrible. No way in the world was he going to defeat me on Call of duty. I wouldn't say that was my favorite game but it certainly was addictive to play.

At the moment, we played Super Mario Bros on the Wii and Jace was sitting out as we showed him how it was done with the teamwork we did on four player, finishing the level as quick as possible. With minimal death.

"Oh come on Magnus! you completely killed me on purpose!" I complained as we laughed at mario's tragic death.

"That will teach you to be the Italian main character, when clearly I am the center of the group." He bragged.

This continued for maybe two more hours before our gaming time has run long and outdone. Shutting of the game we all stayed and talked about nonsense which I think suspiciously turned into an interview of the noob.

"Where were you from before you came here?" Still new York.

"Are you playing Sports?" football.

"What kind of name is Jace?" Short for Jonathan Christopher.

"Number of past girlfriends?" four.

"Favorite Color?" Gold.

"Have you watched Frozen?" Yes

"Who's your favorite character in Frozen?" Olaf.

"How far can you sing 'Let it Go'?" A very funny performance from Jace that made it three lines into the song.

Eventually I went home for dinner and homework before bed pretty happy about my day and the new member of our group.

I wrote this up quickly before bed just so I have somewhere to go from and make some progress on the story. Trust me when i say that I can do better on keeping up with these stories but writing is time consuming.

If you read other stories of mine i would like to know which one you like the best so that i know which one to put top priority on!
