Banished

Midgard

Ugh, it was colder than usual for this time for the night. Lilliac hugged himself, trying to make her jacket tighter around her, in hopes that these freezing night wouldn't get the better of her, but it seems it was not going to be that easy. She hated the fact that both Kyle and her work had seemed to come along at the same time, now both worked until late at night, but she always got out earlier. Walking to home wasn't something that amused her so much, but at least it gave her a lot of time to think. About many things. Somehow she connected things in her mind in many strange ways. First she thought about what would she make to eat once she got home as she watched her breath appear in the cold night air. Surely it had to be something that could fill both her stomach and Kyle's. She didn't feel like calling him into work because that may get him into trouble, so she didn't. Besides, how? Her phone had decided to not work since yesterday, she didn't know why, but it would most certain bring her trouble. She shuddered, looking upwards at the sky...even if it was late at night, she could see no stars at all, it was fairly cloudy. Maybe it would rain...she had to hurry up or else. Lilliac sighed...a little rain and thunder wouldn't bother her much so long as she took a quick hot shower. Thunder, eh? She slightly felt as such she had read something entertaining concerning thunder...about stories.

Wait...

Looking around, Lilliac felt like was missing something. It bothered her greatly that it suddenly picked at her attention so hard. Why? C'mon Lilliac, it can't be something as bad...right? It had started to drizzle, damn it was cold! But it made her look upwards, at the sky, light up several seconds by far off lightning. Means someone is angry...no? People used to believe that lightning and thunder was brought upon by someone...why was she remembering this now? The small of her back burned some...almost as if someone was moving a lit candle against her skin. With a groan, Lilliac reached for her back...a sudden pulse coursed through her body. Energy...pure energy, making her vision painfully sharp...and her memories all flooded back to her. All so real, like a movie being played behind her eyelids: her walking through the door, a white cube of a cell, a grand throne room...everything...everything was real! She didn't know how, she just knows it is all real! Then that means...

Suddenly, the surge of energy faded away, and everything went back to how it used to be. She didn't noticed it had started raining heavily by now, and squinting her eyes at the sky, Lilliac remembered something. The one who sees it all...he was up there,no? She did read about the one who guards the entrance to Asgard. He sees it all...which means...Lilliac took a running start out of the walk away, off over a fence and into a meadow not far from the there. If what she thinks is true, then this should work. It had to. Forcing herself to remember the name, Lilliac stopped right in the middle of the meadow, the sky pouring down at her with freezing water. It almost felt like a million ice cold needles punching into her exposed skin, and it hurt so damn much. "Heimdall...?" she recalled, but she could barely speak up. The heat had almost completely ran out of her body, she shivered violently, but still, she stared up at the sky, squinting. 'Please...please let it be true...' Lilliac begged...but to who, she didn't really know. Something inside of her chest just pushed her to do this, because she feared for him...for Loki. "Heimdall..." she called up to the sky, trying to make her voice louder, but all it did was hurt her chest. It hurt badly, and the cold was not much help. She waited...and waited...and waited. She was starting to give up...to actually believe she was hallucinating, that everything was just a product of her exhaustion...

The sky suddenly swirled, a bright light coming from a hole in the clouds. At the beginning, she thought it was a lighting, one that she very much got onto herself due yo standing in the middle of the rain. But why was it so symmetrical? And why was it sparkling in so many colors?! Lilliac cringed away, wanting to scream, but her lungs didn't wanted to work. She was too cold to even be able to get some words out. She was engulfed in light, as she stared wide eyed how she slowly got lifted from the ground, almost like there was no gravity, and away into the sky. She closed her eyes tight, and hugged herself, holding her breath. She didn't know what this would do to her it was better to end it quickly. Not long after, Lilliac felt herself fall, and hit something hard on her side. Damn it hurt so bad...her breath got halfway knocked out of her, her lungs screaming for relief. She groaned, forcing herself to all fours and slowly opening her eyes, she found herself in a circular chamber, adorned with intricate golden circles and gears. At the center of the chamber stood a man...tall, with gold armor covering his body, holding a sword that was about two times the size of his own self. Lilliac shuddered and looked at him, suddenly getting lost in his eyes: gleaming caramel gold...they seemed deep and thoughtful. He slowly walked towards her, so she kept herself on the ground, not wanting him to play sword fight with her body. "Hello Lilliac." he calls down at her, stopping several steps away from her, not really making any gesture to help her get up. Such a gentleman... "How do you...?" she squinted her eyes in suspicion. She didn't know this man...all she knew was his name, and she didn't recall why. The man raised his eyes towards the hole that pointed to a seemingly endless void of stars and galaxies, "I have seen every single moment of your short life, midgardian. But I must ask..." he stopped and looked at her. Suddenly, the small of her back started burning once more, was she having a cramp? It almost started t hurt this time... "how?" he said, and waited for her reply, too bad she didn't have the answer. She simply knew that all of the sudden everything came rushing in on her. This burning on her back was clearly turning her crazy. If only she could make it stop. "I..." she tried pushing her brain to work again, but nothing came up. Her back...damn if only she could peel off that piece of skin, "I don't know..." Wait...what about... "Loki. Where is he?" she demanded, quickly standing, trying her best to not stumble on weak knees. The man...Heimdall...sighed, but didn't move to stop her, he simply watched before responding "In the dungeons...where you may end if you get caught."

Yeah, whatever, she was already in trouble, getting thrown into jail, or a dungeon, was expected. With a frown towards the man, Lilliac took a turn on her heels, and started walking, out through the only exit she could see. Fortunately he did not follow, the man stood quietly at the dome shaped structure as Lilliac stomped her way up what seemed like a crystal bridge...it shimmered wherever she placed her foot, every color she had seen in her life reflecting off the glass. It was mesmerizing, but not as much as the outline of the great castle at the end of the bridge, golden and majestic. She had almost forgotten why she was walking aimlessly down the bridge, until she found herself submerged in the city surrounding it...down below, people walked, all of them looked like normal, except for maybe the odd dressing code. What was with these people, they couldn't just put on something that seemed...normal? She stopped and quickly hid behind what seemed like a wall, ornamented with very complicated designs, just as some...she believed were guards, stomped their way out of the entrance to the castle that connected to the bridge. They were huge! And what with the weird helmets...? Doesn't matter...if they caught her, she was doomed. She waited...and waited...and waited, until she could no longer hear anything, and tried to do her best to not be noticed as she entered the castle. Okay, so now she was in...now to find the dungeons. Which, she of course had no idea where they were in. This place was enormous, and she had just decided to storm into it with no knowledge of where to look into... Lilliac gave herself a mental kick for such stupidity. Lilliac ducked and sneaked as silently as possible around corners and pillars, most of them were beautifully designed, it took most of Lilliac's control not to stare. People and guards passing by were a very good help to keep focused on what she was trying to do. But as much as she tried to find some kind of reference as to where she was, everything started to look the same...the more corners she turned and hid from passerby people, the more it seemed this place went on forever. Was this place bigger than what it looked like on the inside?

Lilliac whine, in a manner that only she could hear herself do so, and after finding a corridor that seemed to finally extend into a darker part of the castle. She let herself rest, with her back on the cool wall. Now what? She had no idea where she was, or where did she came into in the first place. She had managed to stay unnoticed until now, but that could only go as far. Closing her eyes to manage to take a breath, she let herself wander to several minutes in the future...what will happen when the finally catch her? Will that be the end? Did she do all this for nothing? Her mouth went dry at the frightening idea, and her back started to burn once more. Not now... she frowned, what was wrong with her? Panic started to surge up on her, she felt like the ground beneath her started to shift and drift until...

"Hello there?" Oh no! Lilliac jumped and instinctively pressed herself harder against the wall, her eyes wide as they rested upon the woman, who seemed to have appeared from thin air...or maybe her panic attack had taken the best of her. Lilliac said nothing, she just stared at the woman...she looked regal, nothing like all the ones she had seen all the while she had sneaked around. Long, elaborate robes in shades of blue and aqua softly adorned what looked like golden warrior armor, her hair was slightly tucked into what looked like a crown...her features were soft, yet wary. Almost unnoticeable wrinkles adorned the sides of her blue eyes, giving Lilliac a sense that this woman was old...yet could get much older, and very wise. "Please...don't hurt me." she pleaded, softly rising her hands in submission, to which the woman's eyebrow raised some. She didn't really seem like one that had the ability to hurt her right on the spot, but certainty had the ability to make others do so. "Why would I,my dear?" she responded with a soft voice, a small smile crossing her face, which totally caught Lilliac off guard. Wait...so she's not mad? " 'Cause...I just sneaked in?" she responded stupidly, not really sure what she expected. The low thump- thump of guards walking up the corridor that connected to the one they were in, started to grow louder. Oh no... "I have no intention of doing as you believe I will...I know why you are here." she responded and took a small, soundless step towards Lilliac. This seemed so familiar, something in the pit of her stomach contracted when Lilliac slightly felt she had been in this situation before...almost in the same atmosphere. Noticing that Lilliac didn't answer, the woman turned her head to look around and listen...the guards were getting closer.

"You are here because of Loki." she finally said, turning her eyes towards Lilliac with an expression not even her could tell what it was. It hit Lilliac dead-on that she may have been watched all along...that in this place, the matter of getting killed was always right by the corner. Finding nothing to say in her behalf, Lilliac lowered her head and nodded...

"Follow me." the woman moved to turn her back to her, and gave out a slight sigh. Lilliac blinked not really sure what this was all about. So she wasn't going to turn her in? Follow her where? She started walking, and Lilliac did not hesitate to follow, for if she stood there waiting for something to happen, the guards would catch her. Not once did this woman turn to actually look if she was following or not, maybe she was so sure that she would follow orders. Lilliac couldn't afford not to. They twisted and turned, Lilliac noticed the lights were turning dimmer and the air cooler. Where was she taking her? They walked down a set of stairs, the light from torches set several feet apart from each other along the walls making Lilliac start to doubt if she did make the right choice in following her. They came to a sudden stop, as Lilliac did, when the stairs opened up into...dungeons? The walls were coal black, the only thing that kept the place lit up was the harsh contrast of the cells. Which were not much different from the one Loki was placed in the Land of the Dwarves. They were bright white, color bleached from the walls, with the slight difference that two of them were clear, see-through, designed with beautiful golden Celtic designs that seemed to move and shift. But the guards...there were two on each side of the set of stairs. They regarded the woman with a slight bow of the head, and she walked. Wait, what about me? Lilliac watched as the woman walked, with the same majestic grace of not looking back as before. What will she do? Clearly this woman expected her to follow, but Lilliac feared she would get turned...who knows to where. But if she didn't continue she will be left behind on her own luck. It bothered Lilliac greatly that as she walked closer to them, they did not seem to regard her as being there...they just stared off at the prisoners, some screaming, other chatting between themselves. None of them looked human. But why...? Were they purposely ignoring her because of the woman, who was almost out of view by now, deeper in the dungeons? Lilliac stood frozen in between the two guards, halfway expecting them to stop her and take her away...but they didn't. What was going on...? Looking downwards, Lilliac's heart skipped a beat, for where her body was supposed to be, there was nothing. She couldn't see her torso, nor she could see her legs, or her feet. What was this?! Lilliac looked forward, noticing what was going on. This was not the first time she had experienced this either... back in her room, Loki had spoken to her, but he was nowhere to be seen. Only later did he come forth to her, revealing himself. This woman was actually using the same thing...but not on herself. Now Lilliac understood why no one really regarded her as being there, while she walked quickly after her, they didn't really seen her there. It was a very convenient, and disturbing, technique. The woman came to a stop in front of one of the cells that was almost a the center of the dungeon vault. Lilliac looked over, and the harsh light made her squint slightly. For some reason to her, this cell shown with a particularly angry light, much brighter than the other ones, the pale white from the cube-shaped room interrupted by the dark, worn out colors of furniture. This time the cell looked more clean and less messy than the one before, excepting the upper left corner, where stacks over stacks of books adorned the ground. He was sitting at the top, right corner of the cell, his legs crossed with a book on his lap...

"Loki." the woman called, something in her voice dame Lilliac's heart contract. As much as she wanted to look at her, Lilliac couldn't find it in her to peel her eyes from the man sitting on the ground. He looked up, his eyes a bright green color, jumping out due to the amount of light around him, as he smiled, "Hello Mother. I am flattered you have decided to visit me personally this time." he said, speaking in a snarky, taunting voice. Did he just say mother? Lilliac could swear she held her breath from here on, her lungs aching with the urge to call out to him, but she knew this was not the time. "There's someone who wants to see you." the woman replied, to which Loki shut his book and stood with a grunt, "Evidently." he said, tossing the book on the bed several feet away. Lilliac watched as he walked closer to the wall, he looked tired, yet so much healthier in a way. He no longer has the leather, armored coats, just overalls and a green sleeved tee. His naked feet made no noise on the ground. His eyes rested upon Lilliac, who apparently had become visible at the moment...or maybe he knew she was there all along, she wasn't sure. Loki made a face, "Oooh you're going to be in so much trouble if Odin finds out." he seemed to chant that sentence, like a kid who taunts another for not being able to finish a bet. Yet his words were not directed at her, but at his Mother standing beside her. "I will deal with your Father when the time comes. It is you who worries me." she replied, and both fell into a deep silence. For once, Lilliac looked at the woman and back at Loki. They were staring at each other intensely, the air between them turning thick and heavy. What was going on, Lilliac didn't knew, but she could almost swear they were talking with their eyes. The only thing missing were the words... "I will leave you two alone now." the woman finally spoke up, and without warning, turned and left. What?!

Loki watched as his adoptive mother walked down the dark path between cells and out of his view. It was a shorter visit than usual, but he didn't mind it. At least he got to see her once more... After a while, he looked at Lilliac. She hadn't changed much in the past weeks. Dark bags under her eyes were seen, but she was just as pale and messy as he had left her through the Bifrost. Her overall color was black, Loki was surprised it didn't bother him as much as before. He could feel contradicting emotions overcoming the sorrow of watching Frigga walk away...He felt triumphant...in a way satisfied at how perfectly his spell worked on her. Slightly quicker than expected, but right as he believed it would. Crossing his arms behind his back, Loki watched as Lilliac came closer to the wall. He didn't tell her to stop, if she was smart enough, she could know nothing good will come by hitting it. She started at him like she was looking at a moving statue made of crystal, which slightly made him feel like a freak...maybe he was. "Are you...okay?" she spoke in a low voice. She was trembling, he could see, most probably because of the growing interest of the other prisoners at nearby cells. Loki watched her, barely blinking "Like I've never felt before." he replied with a slight smile crossing his face. It was only a matter of time until someone came in, all he needed to make sure he was seen oblivious to her presence...but it was the one who brought her here, knowing everything. Lilliac looked around with worried eyes, she held her hands together with her fingers intertwined, furiously rubbing the against each other. As he watched her, Loki couldn't help but feel a pinch of amusement at the thought of how would she react if she got caught, "Why are you here?" he asked, obviously jut for the heck of it. She would be too thick to actually know why he was asking that...and he was right... "I wanted to see that you are okay." Lilliac replied in a low, whimpered tone. Whatever is she thinking? Loki wondered, turning his gaze towards some prisoners who had gathered closer to the wall where they could see them. Even if he couldn't understand most of what they were saying, Loki forced himself to block off their voices. It wasn't an easy task, for the dungeons were a gigantic cube with fairly loud echoes. He finally looked at Lilliac, who was staring at him with huge, deep black eyes. "Now you see that I am alive, am I not?" he replied, colder than what he really intended to. He believed that only that way she would understand. And he was right. Lilliac frowned, hugging herself instinctively. In Loki's eyes, she seemed to be sick and pale... was she always like that? He didn't pay it much attention, right now it bothered him that no one had come to check on why there was such a ruckus in the cells. Pretty soon someone will show up.

"You should return." he advised, nudging his head towards the direction she should go to. In a way he didn't really mean what he was saying, but he knew he shouldn't really fall for that. Lilliac winced, "I...don't know how." she confessed, her voice starting to sound desperate. She heard something...someone, coming closer, and so did Loki. He sighed and turned his back to her. The longer he looks at her the more his mind will keep working...in ways that simply will make things worst. Loki stopped at the upper-right corner of the cell and rested against the wall, finally looking at Lilliac, who was about to cry. "You should hide." Loki advised once more, pretty much knowing what was to come: there was no place to hide. This...wasn't something he expected. When he placed that tracking spell on Lilliac's back, he didn't really think her to actually come to Asgard. He had been watching over her movements ever since he let her go through the Bifrost, but he didn't intend her to fully regain her memories, much less sneak her way here. Had to give credit to Frigga for spoiling him rotten and gr her hands dirty on the job by helping her. Lilliac scurried around aimlessly, trying to find a place to hide, without any fruit. Loki watched her frantic moves in silence, finding a sadistic amusement at how she looked, afraid and spooked to bits. She could be very strong, he could see it in her eyes, but when it came to quick thinking, she was not the best. The quick stomps from incoming guards were slowly turning louder, were more and more prisoners started to rant incoherently, and Loki mentally braced himself for what was to come. In the end, Lilliac froze, staring wide eyed down the corridor, until at least three guards surrounded her, their daggers slightly glinting against the contrast of the dark walls, the sharp edges pointed at her throat. Not long after Thor walked into Loki's range of vision, looking straight to Lilliac with angry eyes "What are you doing here?" he demanded, moving the guards that surrounded her away. She looked like she would pass out... Loki wondered what would happen if that would be the case. He kept silent from the corner of his cell, as Lilliac shrugged her shoulders, trying to turn smaller on herself. Only now did Loki notice she had a collar on...a symbol, one he had seen before one to many times when he was back at Midgard. He believed humans called it a cross,no? He remembered they meant something religiously deep for mortals, but he never paid much attention. "I'm sorry..." he heard Lilliac whimper out, keeping her eyes stuck to the ground. Really? That is all she could come up with? Thor grumbled and quickly turned his anger at Loki...figures. "What have you done now brother...?" Loki smiled and rose his hands in a gesture of surrender, "Why is it everyone points the blame on me?" he tested, rising an eyebrow. He really couldn't help it, he enjoyed testing everyone's patience, no matter how much the situation didn't help him at all. He didn't look at Lilliac, but he knew she was staring at him with wide eyes. "Because it is always your fault." Thor replied with acid in his lips. Loki felt fire burning up his chest, anger boiling in his veins at that statement... "Is it Thor? Is it my fault she sneaked in here because of the ineptitude of your guards? That she remembered everything? Maybe it is more of Odin's fault for not doing his one single job right." he spoke in a dark, low tone pretty much doing what he was best at: twisting the truth and telling lies. Even if what he was saying wasn't exactly a lie, it angered Loki to have everyone point at him whenever something went wrong. It always ignited a fuse at the bottom of his chest. Thor growled, his hands curling into deadly fists at his sides, glaring daggers at him. Loki half expected him to grab Mjolnir and break apart his skull like the brute he was...but instead, "Do not speak ill of Father, Loki." he said. Whenever are they going to get this into their thick skulls? "He is not my father..." Loki replied between clenches teeth, mumbling between lips. Thor turned to Lilliac, who wad staring at her feet, still trying to make herself small, "You must leave...now." he advised Again, his ability to ignore whatever his brother say had not faded away one bit. Loki felt kind of surprised by the matter.

"I...I don't know how..." Lilliac spoke in almost a squeaking voice, it took a lot out of Loki to not chuckle at her pitiful state. "You will return the way you came from..." Thor said in the softest of voice he could manage, Loki saw how he slowly raised his hand towards her shoulder, maybe to make her move, to pull her away from the cell, but she flinched away from his touch, almost in a disgusted manner. "I am not leaving him alone." she stated, firm a d defiant, which made Loki smirk in quiet satisfaction. At least this time she was the one causing the trouble, not him. Thor sighed and moved away from her, turning to the cell, Loki watched as Thor faded away the protective wall and walked in with dreadful eyes, and whisper, only as loud for both of them to hear "I do not know what you have done to her, but know well, it will last no longer." Loki wasn't sure if to take those words as a thread or as a simple comment, but all he could do was smile defiantly at him "Have I ever done something someone has never wanted me to do?" he said, rising the open palms of his hands some. Thor rested his eyes, once again burning with anger, on him "Shall we really speak of Sif's hair once more, brother...?" even if his face gave out flares of anger, his tone was a dead panned one, clever to actually learn such a technique, "Or of the arrow your words actually guided into Baldur's heart?" he finished, making Loki go, for once, without anything to say. For long minutes Loki stared at his brother, wanting so much to be able to poke into his thick skull and brains and squeeze it, pour out the juice on a glass cup and exhibit it greedily. But all the while he didn't see it fit just to waste his breath, so Loki kept quiet. Thor silently thanked his lack of works by nodding "Now do well in not speaking brother, we shall take her back to the Bifrost once more." he nudged his head sideways towards Lilliac. Loki let his eyes rest on her for a second...wait... "We...?" he asked, incredulous. Lilliac kept her eyes hovering over them but never said a word. "Yes, we." Thor replied and quickly moved to place those cursed shackles once more on him. Oh how he despised them so much, and they just kept on coming. Loki glared with half of his hatred at the meal, half expecting them to melt away by cheer force of will. Thor grabbed the joints of the cuffs between Loki's hands and dragged him along, out of the cell. He sighed and looked towards Lilliac, who's eyes almost seemed like they would pop out of their sockets. "Now will you follow me?" he said, Lilliac couldn't help but look up at the tall, blonde man whom to her seemed like a moving wall. This was not what she meant by saying she wouldn't leave Loki alone...this will bring so much more trouble, she knew it. But she just kept doing things the wrong way. Panic started surging over her when Thor didn't wait for her to answer, just walked by her...taking Loki with him. Not once did he look at her, and Lilliac didn't do anything to call for his attention either. As they walked back upstairs a d turn around corners along the gigantic castle, Lilliac couldn't help but curse herself...she just wanted to see if he was okay, but now...Lilliac whinned as the guards that lead her behind the two brothers pushed her to move faster, to keep up. Okay, she gets it, no time to loose, but jeez.

Once they reached the one hall where that Rainbow Bridge connected to the castle, Lilliac's heart started feeling like it was about to explode. What would happen now...? To her or Loki? She turned her eyes to where she thought he was standing...and froze. He was staring at her...in silence. Was that anger he had written in his eyes? Lilliac couldn't tell at all. She knew Thor was talking to them but she felt afraid...for herself. Why was he looking at her like that...? Lilliac once again felt that odd, burning sensation at the lower back, she winced and finally peeled her eyes away from Loki. "We must move...now." she finally heard Thor, his voice urgent for some reason, which got her panicking quick. Thor grabbed her arm and literally swung her off her feet, when she came down, her shoulder was rubbing against Loki's arm. He didn't seem to mind it, more like he was frozen in place, staring out at the bridge. "Such disappointment..." came a voice that made Lilliac both scared and angry. Lilliac reminded herself that this man, even if he was supposed to rule for everyone, had just placed his own adoptive son to rot down in the dungeons...alone. "Loki..." Odin called, more as a demand than anything else, Lilliac planted herself next to hi not intending to move anywhere else. She heard Thor curse under his breath, she was sure everyone else did as well, but didn't pay it much attention. Lilliac swallowed...

"Hello again." Loki said, Lilliac see a grin spread across his tired features. Didn't he know when to shut up? "Again and again you make the same mistakes..." Odin mumbled while shaking his head in exasperation, "...I have even lost the will to ask why." he finished, all his attention placed on his former son, who in return, shrugged childishly. "Can't always expect to understand everything, can we?" he scoffed, earning a shove from Lilliac with her shoulder. He didn't even seemed ti feel it, but Lilliac sure did...she casually rubbed her shoulder, staring at her feet. "Father, plea-" Thor tried out...

"Silence!" Odin's voice echoed around the rotunda-like hall, Lilliac jumped and hunched over, trying her best to seem small. Her ears now hurt badly "It is true, one cannot understand everything. But..." he stopped, and his eyes suddenly rested on Lilliac. Her heart started going crazy again, feeling like there was a huge spotlight placed on her for the several seconds the old man's eyes were on her, then they moved, back to Loki, and stayed there, deep and fierce. "But that doesn't mean you will not go on unpunished." Odin finished, slamming Gungirr's rear end on the ground. Lilliac watched in awe as from the spear crawled a gigantic lightning bolt, towards the farthest end of the bridge, where the dome-shaped entrance started to life on it's own. Wait...what was happening? Loki sighed and looked to nowhere, Lilliac knew

he had nothing else to say, and this time she was so much thankful for everything he did not say. Lilliac needed to say something...anything. If she did not know what would happen now...try to reason some, at least try, "Please...just...don't hurt him." she tried, doing her best to seem small and humble, but her words fell into deaf ears. Odin didn't pay any attention at all to her, his eyes kept glued to Loki, as he slowly pointed the spear to him " I hereby strip you from your magic abilities and knowledge, Loki Laufeyson, hidden away where none can return from." he declared. Lilliac saw everything in fast motion: Loki moving forward in an aggressive manner, her reaching over to him for him to stop, Thor holding her back, the guards up to attack. This was the end...where Lilliac knew she would not wake up from. Everything will go away... "Cast into Midgard, where thee had once tried to destroy. Banished!" Odin declared with an echoing voice. Lilliac froze, feeling herself loose balance once Thor had let go of her. She groaned, falling to her knees, while Loki stamped on a solid way "No!" he screamed, Lilliac knew, with utter anger. It made her skin crawl, to for once see the full proportion of his anger in front of her. Lilliac noticed that it was not her who was loosing balance, but the dome, far off the distance, had a sucking vortex...glittering whites, gold and yellow. Lilliac felt something...someone, wrap their arms around her over her head. Once she saw the shackles she knew...Loki.

He protected her...because none of them could hold on no longer. They went through the air. The swallowing vortex sucking them through, and all the while Lilliac had her eyes tightly shut. She focused on him...on knowing that they, for now, were both alive. The soaring wind overcoming the mumbles of Loki's groans and ragged breathing, but he never once let go of her.

You brought this upon yourself Loki...

Midgard

The silence struck her first. Silence and cold. The wind turned cooler, and very eerie. Then came the hit. Lilliac groaned, her breath being knocked out of her, hitting something hard...metallic. First, there was nothing, but several seconds later came the pain, stabbing her with a burning sensation, and then the smell of blood. But why? She heard someone groan slightly, making her stir. Lilliac then noticed who it was... she had landed on Loki, who had her pressed hard against him. The smell of blood came from herself, she landed her chin hard against the chest plate of his armor, splitting it and bleeding non-stop. She looked up at him, light green veins clearly seen under his neck skin from under his chin sprouting out by strain. "You...okay?" she tested, wincing from the split on her chin. He moved, turning his head down to look at her, not very pleased. "Hm..." he grunted and nothing else. Lilliac blinked, noticing what he wanted, and why was he looking at her like he wanted to poke her eyes out. She moved some to get off, swallowing spit in hopes he doesn't do anything to harm her. Loki finally sat, dusting off dirt that wasn't there, "Where are we?" he demanded in a very grumpy manner. Lilliac sighed, thankful he didn't go feral on her. She didn't mean to do any of this, much less to cause him more trouble than he already had...Lilliac looked around, trying to find some reference place...she knew they were back on Earth. "Umm..." she stood, wobbly walking around to find some place to start from. If she said she had no idea where they were, Loki would most likely snap her neck right there...he pretty much could. "Ah!" she grinned, spotting a sign that read Red. Rd. Good, she knew where they were at least. Loki waited in silence, What was he thinking, Lilliac didn't knew, and she didn't dare to even imagine. " I know where we are!" she didn't wait for him to reply, just started walking. Of course she knew he would follow, Lilliac knew he was smarter than that...she could also feel that burning sensation you always have when you know someone is looking at you. "You do?" he questioned softly, Lilliac's patience starting to go lower. She sighed loudly, starting to walk down the road, leading to the only place she has left to go: home. "Yes." she said simply. Neither of them seemed like they wanted to talk, but Loki forced his way into her mind still. They kept on walking in silence...home just upon view. Kyle was going to kill her...for sure.
