I ran straight to the Grill. I almost broke down the door in my haste to get to Uncle Eli.

"Uncle Eli," I practically shouted to get his attention from his spot at the bar.

He turned towards me quickly in his stool when he heard my voice.

"Lilly?" He asked in concern.

Having to slow down so that I could keep my human appearance, it took me a bit longer to get to him than I wanted to.

"Uncle Eli, I really need to talk to you," my eyes flickered to his left where I saw Klaus looking at us intently. "Alone," I whispered the last part so only Uncle Eli could hear me.

He nodded slightly to acknowledge that he heard me.

"Come with me," he said so that Klaus would hear us and know not to follow us.

"Okay, what happened?" Uncle Eli asked as soon as we were far enough away from anyone from the bar to hear us.

"You remember Elena Gilbert and her little group of friends that are always trying to one up us in everything?" I questioned him.

"Yes, of course, I remember them quite clearly. They are the ones that staked and daggered me," He said with a slight distaste in his voice when he talked about them.

I snorted out loud while shaking my head. Of course they would try to do that, why am I not surprised by this fact?

"Well, I went by the Salvatore's place today only to see tracks leading into the forest. When I didn't see them in the house, I went to look around the back. I followed the tracks and heard them saying that they are going to try to kill Klaus." I said to him.

He looked at me skeptically, "Kill Klaus? With what? We just burned up all the white oak around that was left that could kill us," he muttered to himself.

"Yes, so I don't get ho-" I stopped mid-sentence when what he was saying finally caught up to me. "What do you mean that you JUST burned up all the white oak that could kill us?" I spoke slowly.

"That we just burned everything down recently," He said nonchalantly, seemingly lost in thought.

"So all this time there was something that could have killed us all?" I spoke slowly, still processing what he was telling me.

"Yes," Uncle Eli said, looking at me in surprise and concern, "Lilly? Lilly what's wrong?"

"What's wrong is that NO ONE EVER TOLD ME!" I practically screeched out, seething.

Uncle Eli just looked at me in plain surprise now, "Well I just assumed you would know this like everything else," he said cautiously while holding out his hand in front of him. He started backing slowly away from me.

"Why would you think that if I've been away all this time in hiding!?" I shouted, screeching this time for sure.

"Well you always seem to know before, you know-" he paused for a moment before he continued, "-with your witch friends and you yourself be-" He got cut off when I pushed him against a tree. I quickly placed my hand over his mouth before he could say anymore.

"You know as well as the rest of our family to not say things out loud like that Uncle Eli, especially out in the open like this," I hissed as the wind started to pick up around us.

Uncle Eli gently pushed my hand away from his mouth and moved himself from the tree and me "I'm sorry, it's just now that I can talk about it to the family freely, it was slipping out," he said quietly while looking at me apologetically.

I took a deep breath, "It's alright, let's just hope no one heard you though. I don't want to kill someone at this very moment when I have other matters to take care of," I said before taking one last deep breath as the wind went back to being a gentle wind.

"Okay, back to the matter at hand." I paused to gather my thoughts before I continued, "Is there a possibility that you guys didn't burn it all?"

"I was not the one that burned it all down. It was Rebekah, give me a moment, let me just call her and ask," he told me, all the while pulling out his phone and pressing some buttons before putting it to his ear.

I tuned him out as soon as he started talking to Aunt Rebekah over the phone.

If there was a possibility that Aunt Rebekah missed something and didn't burn everything, then there was a chance that the stakes the Petrova gang had were the ones that could kill us…fuck, this is bad, I thought sourly.

Uncle Eli pulled me out of my thought process when he got off the phone.

"Rebekah says she is sure that she burned all of it but we can never be too sure considering that we thought we got rid of it a long time ago and here it is again over a thousand years later," he mused.

"Then we have to be ready because the Salvatore's have stakes that they think could kill Klaus and if it is the white oak stakes then we have a huge problem on our hands," I spoke before the panic started to settle in now that there was a true possibility that one of them could kill us now, which would include Father.

"I'll stay near Klaus until we can figure out how we can take the white oak stakes back from them," he said to me.

"Okay and I'll see what I could do about the stupid link that grandmother put on you guys," I said before turning on my heel and walking further into the forest.

"Wait! Lilly! What link!?" Uncle Eli shouted from where I left him standing as I took off to the Mikaelson mansion.

"Nothing you have to concern yourself with if I can find a way to break it before it's too late," I whispered to myself when I've already moved out of his sight and hearing range.
