When Kurt arrives the next morning he sees Santana at her locker and walks over to meet her.
"Wow you look miserable," he mentions upon arrival as he looks at the girl
"Shut up Lady Hummel, I'm still full from last night." She groans.
"You're the one who had to insist that she would stay for dinner." He tells her.
"That's because I thought we were all going to be there. Then you desert me and I have the most awkward as fuck dinner with the Berry and Hudson." She says as she lightly rubs her sill full belly. "I went to Britts afterwards and she made me eat even more."
"Ew, I don't want to hear any of that," Kurt says with a grimace.
"Chill, I actually meant food but we did get a little something-"
"La- la- la -la" Kurt repeats over and over as he covers his ears.
Santana just smirks at him. "Anyway what did you find out about your new crush last night?"
Kurt just rolls his eyes but doesn't respond to the remark. "I think you may have been on to something when you were taking about Quinn."
"What does Q have to do with this Elijah guy?" Before Kurt could answer they were interrupted.
"Kurt there you are," Blaine says walking up to the two. "I've been looking for you."
"Hi Blaine," Kurt smiles then looks between him and Santana.
"I'll leave you here with sir hair gel," Santana told him as she got her books and left the two alone. "I've got to find Britts anyways see ya later."
"Where have you been lately I feel like you've been avoiding me Kurt," Blaine says worriedly. "Did I do something wrong,"
"Blaine, I'm sorry I've been a little preoccupied with something."
"Yeah I've noticed." He mentions. "And what's with this new found friendship with Santana?"
"She's just been help being with this project I'm doing." Kurt quickly interjects. "I'm sorry if I made you feel a bit neglected how about I reschedule my plans and we'll hang out after school."
"Thank you all I wanted is to spend a little more time with you," Blaine smiles.
"Okay, how about we go to the Lima theater after glee is over today." Kurt offers.
"Sure that sounds great." Blaine says as the bell rings. He gives Kurt a quick hug before heading off to his class.
Kurt then realizes he didn't make a stop at his locker and quickly goes to the other hallway where his locker is located. As he makes his way over he notices amongst through the sea of his classmates a few of his glee mates Sugar, Rachel, Rory and Quinn. Rory looks a little agitated as he's waiting on Sugar to get something from her locker but she's looking unsure where it is.
"Sugar, are you sure you have your chemistry book in your locker were going to be late." Rory tells her.
"Chill, Rory I'm sure it's here….or was that my dresser I saw it lying on." She wonders tentatively.
Rory just face palms as she continues looking through the locker.
Rachel's seems to be greeting Quinn good morning even though Quinn looks a bit preoccupied.
"Oh sorry Rachel," Quinn yawns. "Good morning I'm just a little tired."
"Quinn, if you wish to stay at top academically then you must make sure your schedule is organized as such to have a full eight hours of sleep each night," she scolded.
"I know, I know thank you Rachel I will be sure to get more sleep tonight," Quinn tells her.
"Now come fellow glee clubber or we'll be late to Spanish."
He quickly waves to the bunch even though they starting to rush like himself to get everything before the late bell rings. He opens his locker and grabs his English book and notebook and as he closes his locker he's almost sure he saw Rachel's friend Elijah at that end of hallway. He's gone about a second later.
That's weird is he looking in on Rachel now? Does this guy have a life? Shouldn't he be in school right now too? Kurt ponders just as the bell ring. Darn I'm late.
"Now Sectionals is coming up guys and I want all of you at your best because I have a good feeling about this year. We've never lost Sectionals and this year isn't going to be any different guys so-"
Kurt and Santana completely ignored 's repetitive speech. Kurt was sitting next to Blaine who was intently listening to the speech and they were in the third row he looked around and saw Santana sitting next to Brittany in the first and took out his phone to text her.
Kurt: Hey, sorry but we've got to push back our plans a little later. I've got to spend some time with Blaine.
Satan: Whatevs Hummel.
Kurt: Is tomorrow okay?
Satan: It's cool.
Santana just looked back at the boy and shrugged it made no difference to her when they went to check out Q's. Just that soon was good because Q just seemed off even now she looked like she was nodding off in her chair.
I know is boring but is he really almost falling out of your chair asleep boring. She should just drown him out like I do. Most of what he says is just white noise anyway. But Q is definitely hiding something and it has to most likely involve that kid it was just way too freaky hearing her call Q mom. She seems more tired than usual and she seems to always be looking up at the clock.
After more blathering from about preparing songs for Sectionals and a duet from both Mercedes and Sam, and a solo from Rachel, glee was finally over.
Santana watched Kurt leave immediately with Blaine and notice that Brittany was talking to Rory about something. Then she notices Rachel and Finn in the corner of the room trying to be discreetly but failing.
"Rach, seriously what's up with this guy," Finn prodded.
"Finn, just what are you trying to imply," she asks questioningly.
"I mean I don't think he's your pen pal? Why would he be visiting at the beginning of the school year," he sputtered out. "I mean he even walked you to school this morning and it's just plain weird."
"Finn, don't be ridiculous Elijah is just a good friend who found the time to visit. You have absolutely nothing to worry about and he was just being courteous by walking me to school." Rachel ranted. "I mean is it so wrong to believe chivalry is that dead for him to walk me to school without it being turned into something else, obviously he was raised to be the proper gentleman in asking to do so."
Finn just shifted on his feet. "Sorry Rach, I shouldn't of even mentioned it,"
"Apology excepted Finn," she says as she gives him a hug, "Now we should go, I want talk about our Sectionals set list, Elijah has given me some great ideas."
Wow even Finnept is getting a little jealous of that Rico Suave type that Rachel's got him believing is really a pen pal.
"Sanny, can we go now," Brittany says as she walks up next to her girlfriend."
"Sure, so what were you talking to Pixie Boy about anyway?" She asks her.
"Oh I just asked Rory Leprechaun if he was going to be home after school, but he's not so we're going to be alone till my parents get home."
"I like the sound of that Britt." Santana smiles as they make their way out of the school.
