"How are you feeling babe?" Roman asked her, holding her hand.
"It hurts." She said, biting her lip.
Roman frowned, sitting down next to her.
"It's okay. We're going to see her soon." Alena said, looking on the bright side.
He nodded, taking her hands in his, and smiling.
"I love you." She cupped his face and gave him a quick kiss, smiling.
After hours of agonizing pain, Roman brought the question up again.
"Babe, are you sure you don't want an epidural?" He asked.
"No, I- OW!" She took a deep breath, squeezing his hand.
"Alena, get it." Seth said, looking at her.
"You should." Dean agreed, leaning back in his chair.
"You're getting it." Roman said, about to press the button that calls up the nurse.
"No! I'm not getting it." She said, grabbing his arm and covering the button.
"You're in so much pain." He said, looking at her in disbelief. "Why don't you want it?"
"Our bodies are designed to this. I don't need any drugs to help me get through it." She replied, holding her stomach.
The nurse walked in, looking through her clipboard.
"Miss Reigns?" She asked.
Alena blushed and Roman chuckled, smiling at her.
"I'm going to check how dilated you are." She said, sitting on a stool and moving close towards the edge of bed.
Alena watched her, before turning her attention to Roman and looking at him. He was paying close attention and she giggled.
"You're ready." The nurse said, smiling.
"Really?" Roman asked, smiling ear to ear.
"Yes." She grabbed her clipboard, "I'll be back soon and we'll get started." She smiled, leaving the room.
"We'll wait outside." Dean said, smiling.
"Sure." Alena smiled back, watching him get up. He walked towards her, hugging her.
"Good luck." He said, kissing her temple.
"We can't wait to see her." Seth said, also giving her a hug.
Alena looked into his eyes, nodding.
"Soon." She smiled, wrapping her arms around him.
Seth kissed her cheek, following Dean out of the room.
Dean and Seth walked in the hallway, discussing what to eat.
"Fat-burger?" Seth suggested, leaning against the wall.
"How about Panda? I'm craving Chinese food." Seth shrugged.
"I'm craving burgers." He chuckled.
"We'll stop by both." Seth nodded, staring at his feet.
"What's wrong man?" Dean asked.
"What happened with... Does it mean Roman's going to leave us? Split up?" Seth said in a low voice.
"I... I don't know..." Dean sighed.
"I feel like they'll both move away." Seth said, upset.
"Can you blame them though?" Dean asked.
"No, not really." Seth chuckled, his smile soon fading.
"Roman's never been so happy." Seth said, thinking back to the day she told him she was pregnant.
"I know." Dean sat down on the floor, leaning on the wall.
"I just feel like we're over, man." Seth sat down next to him, sighing.
"I don't know." Dean shrugged, now worrying about their future.
"You're thinking about it..." Seth said, shaking his head.
"I never did before you mentioned it." He admitted, looking at him.
Their attention turned to the doctor and nurses entering Alena's room, shutting the door.
"You ready for all of this?" Seth asked.
"Don't know... But I know you're not." Dean replied, laughing.
"You're doing great, breathe." Roman told Alena, holding her hand and kissing her cheek.
She nodded and focused on listening to what the doctor was saying.
"One more push." He said, encouraging her.
She took a deep breath, squeezing Roman's hand.
"One more time..." He repeated, smiling.
Soon, the sounds of crying filled the room and Roman pulled her in for a quick kiss.
"Would you like to cut the chord?" The nurse asked Roman, handing him the scissors.
He nodded, smiling. He cut the chord and the nurse quickly cleaned up the baby, handing her to Alena.
"Rome, she's so beautiful." She said, her eyes watering.
"She is, just like you." He kissed her cheek, wrapping his arms around her.
"You did it." He said, looking at little Brie.
"Brianna Reigns." She said, giggling and wiping a tear.
"Thank you." He said, his eyes meeting hers.
She nodded and he leaned in, connecting their lips. She kissed him back slowly, smiling into the kiss.
"Finally!" Dean said, barging in the room.
"Awww! She's so cute!" He said, smiling.
"Thanks man." He laughed, looking at Brie.
"She has your eyes Roman." Alena said, smiling.
"And she has your tiny nose!" Roman said, gently poking the tip of her nose.
"She does." Alena agreed, giggling.
"Can I hold her?" Roman asked.
"She's your baby! You're so silly sometimes." Alena laughed, gently placing Brie in his arms.
Roman smiled, gently kissing Brie's cheek.
"Congratulations." Seth said, entering the room.
"Thanks." They said in unison, smiling.
"We're holding her after you." Dean told Roman.
"Okay." He smiled, carefully handing her to Dean.
"Aww, she's so cute. Look at her cheeks." Dean said, laughing.
"She is." Seth smiled, looking at her.
"Congratulations." They all turned to look at the door, watching Dave, Paul, and Randy walk in.
