Sarah felt like she was falling deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole. She knew that her life was pretty messed up, that she was messed to begin with. But she fought hard for the better future. In the beginning it was just a purely selfless act on her part to just gain some higher place in life. But, as the time went on she also developed a strong sense of duty.

"And this is the time when Agent Walker was born," Jenny chuckled sweetly. "So, riddle me this Agent, was it worth it?"

And just like that, Sarah Walker had no words to defend herself.

Jennifer Burton was not exactly what anyone would call an early morning riser. Her clock was a living proof of that. With a suppressed growl she kicked her sheets out of the way and managed to put herself into a sitting position only to fell back on the back again. It was Monday and quite frankly, Jennifer hated Mondays with passion.

Getting up on the fifth attempt and managing all the necessary stuff that girls had to take care of, she was ready to face the music. Not like it was a necessity or anything. She was marked and there was nothing she could do about it. It is funny how actions of someone close to you can change the perception of person´s whole world. In Jenny´s case it was her father Jack. The ex-conman who at this time was approaching his fifth year of his six years of probation.

It was not rather pleasant affair to deal with such burden, especially if you happened to be a girl at high school. It made Jennifer soon realize, that bad jokes on her person were often easier to bear than the unspoken. It made her sad but it also drove her…the desire to step out of the shadow and just be her own person. In a nutshell, the 'Dream' of every teenager.

Stepping downstairs Jenny put on her everyday mask of an ordinary teenager. Which meant to occasionally throw some sarcastic remark, ditch really annoying question about school and potential boyfriends and other important life stuff…

In Neverland

"STOP!" a loud cry was heard through the room. "YOU´RE GOING STOP THIS RIGHT NOW OR I…-"

"Or you'll what," the recipient in form of a teenage girl was not amused. "Don´t tell me, you´re going to become a standup comedian. Quite stressful job let me tell you, you have to be more convincing."

"WHAT IS THE POINT?! WHAT IS THE POINT, JUST TO TORTURE ME FOR AMUSMENT?" The moment Sarah spat the last words she suddenly felt dirty.

"My, oh my, Sarah you just don´t get it do you? I´m not the aggressor here, you are," the girl smiled sadly. "The day you´re decided to pack up and flee towards the streets you buried me. You shut out everyone that were close to you, that meant something to you."

"I did the right thing back then," Sarah´s voice had been barely heard at this point. "You want to sit here and lecture me about life. That was your purpose wasn´t it?"

Jenny´s eyes at this point lost all remaining playful spark and patience. "I´m not here to judge you for your past decisions. I´m more concerned about your future."

"I can handle myself just fine."

Jenny however looked doubtful. "Not from of what I've seen so far. You have to consider your current state of mind."

"My mind is perfectly fine thanks for asking."

Jenny could only offer a sad smile. "The fact that we even talking with each other contradicts your theory just a bit."

"Do any of these riddles of yours have a point, because I´m really itching for a cliffhanger here!"

"That´s for me to know and for you to find out." Jenny countered.

"So, now you´re going banish me from here, is that it?"

That´s how it goes."

All the other questions that Sarah might have had vanished with a blink of an eye, with the room and Jenny altogether. Only thing that Sarah was able to hear was an annoying beeping sound.
