"Are you serious?" Harmony asked, bewildered

Alice blushed apologetically, while holding the jeans up around her hips. The price tags were dangling off the back as she turned

"I have never met a human as small as you." Harmony muttered, gesturing for the sales lady to come over

"Yes?"

"We seem to have an issue." Harmony started. "My little friend Alice here is extremely small. Therefore, the double-zero size pants she's wearing don't fit her."

"Oh my," the lady pursed her raspberry lips. "Well if you buy them I'd be happy to take them in.

"Alice?" Harmony asked.

"Yeah, okay. I'll get them. But they better fit perfect for this price."

"Lovely!" The lady clapped her hands, her long blue fingernails clicking together, the many chunky bracelets on her wrists clacking

The woman took Alice's measurements with a series of 'Oh!'s and 'Hmm!'s.

Harmony stepped out of the shop as Alice was paying. It was a cold April day, the clouds overhead threatening to release their rain all over the streets of Hogsmeade. Harmony tucked her hair behind her ears and pulled her jacket tighter around her

It was a cool Saturday Hogsmeade visit. She had spent to morning with the girls, and had plans to meet the whole lot of girls and marauders for lunch and then go off with Sirius.

"You're going to look great in those jeans." Harmony told Alice honestly.

"You think?"

"Yeah. Frank won't be able to keep his hands off you."

"Harmony!" Alice chided, grinning.

"So. How far has it gotten?"

"What?" Alice asked, caught off guard.

"First base? Second? Not third or fourth because you would have come back to the dorm giggling and blushing and freaking out." Harmony stepped around a puddle from the earlier rainfall as they made their way to the Three Broomsticks.

"Oh-er-"

"Yes?" Harmony asked, enjoying Alice's blushing innocence.

"What's second?"

Harmony stopped in the street, turned to her friend, and gave her a big hug. "I love you and your little body and brilliant mind." Harmony pulled away like nothing happened. "Second: feel."

"Oh. Well, one time he touched my bum." Alice said quietly, then giggled. She linked her arm through Harmony's.

"Alice Prewett!" Harmony gasped, in mock-shock. "You dirty being!"

Alice laughed, her face hot. "How about you and Sirius?"

But right then they reached the Three Broomsticks, and they both entered the warm, crowded pub. "Over here!" James' voice shouted from across the room. He was waving frantically.

Harmony smiled and waved back, so the poor bloke didn't embarrass himself anymore.

Sirius' face came into view and Harmony hugged him tightly after he stood to greet her. "Where's everyone else?" She asked.

"We're just missing Lily, Liven and Becca. They should be here any moment." Sirius replied, scooting down to make room in the bench for Harmony and Alice.

"Oh! There's Frank! I'll go say hi." Alice stumbled up and over to his table. Harmony watched them blush and hug gently.

"They better have children. Little Alice-Frank babies." Harmony sighed.

Remus snorted, and then engaged Harmony in some conversation about the Transfiguration essay that was due.

Lily and Becca came in, giggling like a couple of twelve-year-olds. Becca ran to sit in the opposite side of James, forcing Lily to take the seat beside him.

"Can we order?" Peter complained, as his face was half-swished from the stone wall beside Sirius. "I'm hungry."

"Sure," James said, signalling a waitress over.

Chairs were pulled up and arranged to everyone had some elbow room around the table. Admittedly, it was squished and jam-packed. But it was cozy.

Liven hurried in as the waitress was jotting down hasty orders. Her pink lipstick was smeared. "Oh for the love of-" Harmony started.

"Seven out of ten. Even if it was in the rain. Actually, that made it better." She burst out before Harmony could scold her.

"Oh Liven." Lily leaned over and wiped the ruined lipstick off with a napkin.

Liven grinned and shed her leather jacket, tightening her gorgeous black hair in a ponytail. "Anything for you?" The bored waitress asked.

"Yeah, I'll have the special - whatever that is."

Harmony laughed as the group broke off into several conversations.

"How was your little girls' morning?" Sirius asked."It was really good. Got my mind off of things." Harmony replied. "How was your morning?"

"It was good, too. We spent most of it in the Quidditch supplies shop, to be honest."

Harmony smiled, loving the way Sirius' eyes lit up when he talked about his favourite sport. "Find anything good?"

"Yeah-" Sirius launched into a descriptive break down on every new piece of equipment that had come in from the last time he was there.

The food came eventually, and Sirius dove in his fish and chips like a wild dog while Harmony burned her tongue trying to slurp her hot soup.

"I think we'll head out." Sirius called over the conversations, after everyone had finished their food.

Sirius dropped some money onto the table as James said, "Alright, see you for dinner!"

Harmony fished around in her pocket for the exact amount of change but Sirius told her, "Don't worry about it. It's covered."

"Really? Thanks, Sirius." She smiled.

"No problem." He smiled back.

Harmony grabbed his hand as they wandered down the Hogsmeade street. "So, I have a question."

"Yeah?" He asked, as he peered at the dingy sign of a shop.

"I'm-I'm going to ask Dumbledore if I can go home for a weekend. I need to see my parents." Harmony started.

"That's good." Sirius squeezed her hand.

"I was wondering if you want to come with me?" Harmony looked up at him from under her lashes, then burst out, "But - you know - you don't have to, it's fine if you don't. I understand-"

Sirius kissed her on the lips once, then pulled away. "I'd love to, even if your parents have only seen me at A: three AM in a life and death situation. And B: when I snogged you."

"Really? You'll come though?" Harmony asked, grinning.

"Really."

Harmony hugged him tight around the neck for a second, then pulled away. They kept walking in a happy and comfortable silence.

"Aren't we going to the book store...?" Sirius asked as Harmony pulled him in the direction of the Quidditch shop.

"We can after. I want you to teach me all about this fancy Quidditch stuff, because that's your passion." Harmony and Sirius smiled at each other, as they made their way into the little shop.

Harmony laid staring into the mesmerizing flames of the Gryffindor common room fire with her head cradled in Sirius' lap, as he read quietly from one of her novels on the squishy red couch. His fingers idly twirled her hair, and she basked in the peaceful atmosphere.

She turned her head to look up at his face. His angular cheekbones and jawline were darkened by the cackling flame. His eyelashes brushed his cheeks as he read the book, the silver-grey of his eyes glowing brightly. She reached up and gently pushed away the curly locks hanging in his eyes. His eyes flickered to her. "You're staring at me."

Harmony blushed. "Haven't we hit that point in our constellation where I can stare at you freely for as long as I want without any explanation?"

Sirius wrinkled his nose in thought. "I think we might've passed that a long time ago."

"I thought so." Harmony smiled gently, then turned away from his handsome face. "It's been almost a month since he left, Sirius."

He put the book down. "I know. Is that what's been bugging you all day?"

"How did you know that?"

"You were tense, didn't eat much, didn't talk a whole lot, cracked your knuckles every four seconds..." Sirius listed these things off with ease

"I'm impressed." Harmony granted.

There was a thoughtful silence as they both looked into the fire. "But it still doesn't change the fact that he's out there with You-Know-Who, perhaps even dead."

"You really want to talk about it? After all, you did spend the last month trying to forget about it and changing the subject after anyone tried to bring it up." Sirius told her.

"No, you're right. I did do that, and I'm not really in the mood for talking too much. So, let's think about something else." Harmony sighed, and sat up.

"Like what?"

"The fact that you're going to be coming home for a weekend with me. Well, not home, because the Death Eaters might kill us all, but to a house near it." Harmony smiled.

Sirius did too, genuine excitement in his voice. "Want to know a secret?"

"Yeah." Harmony leaned closer.

"You'll be the first girl that ever introduced me to her parents." Sirius said. "It's never gotten to this point, I guess."

"Really?" Harmony laughed lightly, her eyes lit up.

"Yeah. I'd lie if I were to say I'm not looking forward to it. It'll be really awkward, you think?"

"Oh absolutely. And I'll probably shit my pants with nerves."

"How about I hold your hand under the table?" Sirius suggested, reaching for Harmony's hand rested on the couch.

"I should be the one holding your hand!" Harmony told him, laughing. "After all, you'll have to face my dad."

"He doesn't seem too scary."

"He is."

Sirius sighed. "I know."

Harmony stood up, grinning. "But I'm just so happy you're coming."

Sirius laughed. "Me too."

Harmony tugged on Sirius' hand. "Let's go scare some new Prefects."

"Alright," Sirius' lips pulled back in a mischievous smile as he followed Harmony's frame out of the portrait hole to go hide in dark broom cupboards and jump out at the innocent fifth years.

"Ready?"

"No."

"Too bad." Sirius yanked Harmony's hand forward and through the door. It was the first time either of them had seen the Sea's safe house, so even Harmony didn't know her way around very well. It certainly took enough time and effort to get through the heavy enchantments, even with Dumbledore's assistance.

The outside of the house blended in with all the other homes in the small neighbourhood. It was dark brown and grey brick. The inside entrance hall walls were beige, and mostly bare except for a couple simple paintings. Just beyond the front door was the living room, which held a muggle television set, two bright red couches, a coffee table, a stack of books, and a floor lamp.

"Mum?" Harmony called, hearing voices from the inside kitchen, where light was peeking through the crack in the door.

"Harmony!" her mother screeched, running into the small living room/entrance hall. "Oh we've missed you so much!"

Harmony dropped Sirius' hand and shot forward to hug her mother tightly. "I've missed you all, too. Where's Char?"

"Charlotte!" Mrs Sea called. "Harmony's home!"

"HARMONY!" Little Charlotte came bouncing down the hall, her long dark ringlets going all over the place like Harmony's. She reached her arms out and Harmony caught her with a, "Char!".

Sirius stood there smiling at the scene, until Mrs Sea surprised him by giving him a hug. "How are you, Sirius?"

"I'm good, thanks." Sirius replied. "And you?"

"I'm hanging in." A gentle smile graced her lips, and Sirius noticed that she had the same half smile Harmony did. Her hair was curly and brown, yet quite a few inches shorter than Harmony's and Charlotte's. Her eyes were a warm and wise hazel, and her cheekbones stood out like Harmony's. To sum it up, Harmony was a spitting image of her mother. Sirius strongly suspected, however, she got more of her personality traits from her father.

"Hello, sir." Sirius said weakly as Mr Sea came up behind his wife and shook Sirius' hand.

"Alright?"

Sirius didn't get a chance to reply, however, because Harmony had thrown her arms around her father. "How are you, dad? Oh I missed you so much."

"I'm good. Your mum reckons my clothing choices are going downhill since you're not here to help."

"Oh, dad." Harmony smiled, then turned to Charlotte. "You remember Sirius, Char?"

Charlotte studied Sirius for a long moment. The way her eyebrows knitted together and her lips pursed made her look so much older and wiser than her mere six years of age. Suddenly, her eyes lit up. "I remember you!"

Sirius laughed and held out his palm for a high five. "That's good to hear because I remember you."

Charlotte smiled and reached up to give him a high five. "You kissed Harmony on the lips."

"Uh-" Sirius blushed, too aware of Harmony's parents regarding the scene.

"Can we eat something, Mum? I'm starved. We haven't eaten since this morning." Harmony jumped in.

"Oh! Of course. I have some food already prepared from dinner. Pasta okay?" Mrs Sea directed this question at Sirius.

"That would be fantastic, thank you, Mrs Sea." He smiled and followed Harmony, their socks padding on the hardwood floor, then tile in the kitchen.

"So, how do you like the house?" Harmony asked, as she took a seat at the table.

Sirius looked around. It was a medium sized kitchen, with tile flooring, white cupboards, grey countertop, and all the muggle appliances were silver. There were personal touches like pictures that Charlotte drew, a family portrait, and a magnet on the fridge that said 'count your blessings'. Even with everything, Sirius found it slightly bare.

"Well, we couldn't take everything. Sometimes we're allowed to go back to the house to get some things we left, but other than that we pretty much have minimal decoration." Mrs Sea sighed, getting two dishes out of the cupboard.

"Do you need help, Mrs Sea?" Sirius asked politely.

"No, thanks. You just sit." She waved off his protests. "I gathered as much as I could from your room, Harms. Just a couple things so the room doesn't seem so...beige."

"You didn't have to do that, Mum. Really." Harmony said as Charlotte climbed onto her lap.

"Where's Ryan?" Charlotte suddenly piped up.

The dish Mrs Sea was putting pasta on clattered to the counter. "Sorry," she mumbled. Then she picked it up and continued louder. "We had that talk, remember Charlotte?

"But if he went away, shouldn't he be back by now? When will he get back?" It killed Sirius at how genuinely curious and innocent she sounded.

Harmony bit her lip and said, "I'm not sure, Char. Hopefully soon."

"Excuse me." Mrs Sea placed the dishes on the table, barely catching the teens' combined thank you's, and left the room to go up the stairs.

"Why don't you go watch the television in the other room for a minute, Char? Go cuddle with dad and I'll come say goodnight soon." Harmony suggested, giving her sister a peck on the nose as she got off Harmony's lap and scrambled to the living room where the faint sounds of a muggle TV could be heard.

Harmony dropped her fork down and said, "I'm actually pretty tired. What time is it? Almost eleven?"

Sirius finished the food he wolfed down. "Yeah. Don't you dare thing about shutting me out. I can tell that's what you're going to do. It's what you are doing."

"No, I'm just avoiding the topic." Harmony countered.

They sat for a little while in a comfortable silence, until Harmony's dad slid in with Charlotte in his arms, asleep. "Say goodnight?" He asked

Harmony got up and kissed the top of Charlotte's head. Her dad left the room.

"Want to go up, then? I don't even know where you're sleeping." Harmony told him as they both cleared their plates.

"Sure."

Reaching the top of the steps, they were met by Mrs Sea. "I've just put sheets on...Ryan's bed. Sirius you can stay in there. I'm going to sleep now, and I suggest you both do, too. Separately." She gave them both quick hugs. "I remembered your favourite sheets, and I put them on your bed just for you." She smiled once at Harmony.

"Thanks, Mum. I love you." Harmony smiled back as her mum went down the hall, following Mr Sea into the master bedroom.

Sirius slipped his arms around Harmony's waist. "Goodnight, Harms."

"Goodnight, Sirius." She sighed. It was a sad sigh. Even though Ryan had never been in that house physically, he was everywhere mentally.

"Hey, are you okay?" Sirius asked, concerned.

"It'd be a lot worse if you weren't here."

"Glad I can help."

They pulled away and went to their separate rooms. When Harmony opened her door, she found a single string of Christmas lights strung around her bedroom walls, which were all bare except for a couple of posters that used to hang in her old room. Her bag had been carried up, probably by her dad, and the bed was made neatly.

It was bizarre, seeing a bedroom so un-lived in.

Harmony took off her jeans and long sleeved shirt, throwing it in the corner of the room in an attempt to make the depressing sight look more lively. She switched her clothes for nothing but a long jumper that ran down to her mid-thigh.

Then Harmony completely collapsed against the mattress of her bed, looking up at the pitch black sky from out her single window. She thought about every reason why she shouldn't be there, why going home was such a bad idea. What, did she think that the thought of Ryan would disappear more? Did she think her mother wouldn't leave the room whenever his name was mentioned because it made her too sad?

Harmony didn't even know she had a tear running down her cheek until the door of her bedroom opened and Sirius slipped in with nothing but pyjama bottoms on. She could barely make him out in the darkness.

He came and sat down on the side of her bed without a word. So, Harmony got up, walked around to where he was seated, and hugged him while standing. She rested her head atop his while playing with his black waves of hair. "How's Regulus?" Harmony whispered out of the blue.

"I don't know." Sirius replied honestly.

"When was the last time you knew?"

"I talked to him last month," Sirius said. "But it was only to see if mum had died already."

"Sirius," Harmony scolded lightly.

"Sorry." He muttered. "I wish I knew how he was, though. He seems to be all right."

"You would know if he wasn't." Harmony ran her fingers through his hair lightly.

"You reckon?"

"Yes. You'll get a feeling."

"I hope I never get that feeling, then."

"I hope with all my heart that you don't, either." Harmony whispered.

"I know one day he'll join You-Know-Who. Between being a Black and having my mother breathing down his neck, he'll be bullied and pushed into joining." Sirius sighed and tightened his arms around Harmony.

"Bully and push him into not joining, then." Harmony suggested.

"I've tried so hard to do that. But I just can't do it. He doesn't let me, because he's convinced that I'm going the wrong way." Sirius said glumly.

"Just focus on the fact that he hasn't joined yet." Harmony attempted to make Sirius feel even the slightest bit better

"I just want him to stay alive and happy. I want him to make his own good choices, because even though I hate him, he's really the only person in my family I loved. And I still fucking love him, if you can believe it." It was then that Sirius pressed his face into Harmony's stomach to hold back the tears.

Harmony tilted his chin up, so he had to look at her. "Just let them out. The tears." She said gently. "It feels better. I would know."

"I hate crying. It's unmanly." He mumbled.

"Yeah well there's no one here that you need to prove you're a man to."

"What about you?"

"What about me?" Harmony asked. "Look, all you do is comfort me when I get upset. Let me comfort you, for once, okay?"

"Okay." Sirius mumbled.

Harmony continued to hold Sirius in the darkness, letting her fingers play with this hair, which smelled fantastic. Sirius, after a while, stood up and sniffed.

Sirius cast a silencing charm, and went over to the wall and plugged in Harmony's Christmas lights by hand. He then waved his wand and soft music started playing from somewhere.

"Wanna dance?" He asked with a half smile, showing off some of his perfectly straight teeth.

Harmony laughed. "Yeah, I do."

She reached for him and pulled him close, saying, "You're one perfectly odd duck, my love."

"That's okay." Sirius grinned and placed his hands around Harmony's waist. "We're odd ducks together, you know?"

"I do know." Harmony pulled him even closer still. "You're so tall."

Sirius spun her out and back to him before replying. "You're so short."

"Five foot two isn't that short for someone my age." Harmony tilted her neck to the side as Sirius gave her a quick kiss there.

"Actually it is."

"No, it's not, you boob. How tall are you?" He asked, refraining from kissing him to oblivion.

"I think five ten-eleven. Or maybe six foot. Around there." Sirius told her truthfully.

"Well then you're just tall." Harmony decided, her eyebrows raised.

"If you say so," Sirius muttered, but Harmony could hear the smile in his voice.

Harmony twirled ungracefully under Sirius' arm. "I'm not good at this!" She laughed, knocking over a stack of her all-time favourite books her mother must have remembered to pack.

"Sure you are." Sirius smiled, then added truthfully. "Just not very good."

"This is mainly your fault, pup, because you are well aware that I'm probably hands down the most uncoordinated being on this planet." Harmony randomly reached up and cupped his face.

Sirius' eyes widened, knowing that the joking atmosphere was fading away as their faces got closer together.

Well, fading away until Harmony leaned in, teasingly, but pulled away at the last second and squished his cheeks together, calling out, "Too many biscuits! Too many biscuits!"

Sirius nearly peed himself. He actually had to stop moving and take a couple deep breaths to make himself stop laughing. "You're not even drunk!"

Harmony grinned and lifted her arm up as far as she could so he could twirl under it. He still had to duck.

"You're too cute." He tapped Harmony's nose affectionately.

"Thanks. I try." Harmony rolled her eyes. "Are those mugs of tea on your pyjama bottoms?"

Sirius looked down and grinned sheepishly. "They are."

"Can we pretend they're mugs of coffee instead?" Harmony asked, reaching down and tugging on the fabric to study it.

"Sure, Harmful."

"I'm going to teach you a dance move." Harmony told him. "It's famous for being performed when I'm drunk or really happy, apparently."

"Is it The Hip Wiggle?" Sirius asked, knowing the move.

"Is that what you call it?"

"Do you always answer questions with questions?"

"Do you?" Harmony countered, then moved away from him in preparation of the demonstration. "All right, follow my lead."

Sirius uncrossed his arms and just humorously smiled at Harmony.

"You do this-" she moved her feet slightly more apart, "-then start moving your hips-" she wiggled her hips from side to side, "-and kind of like move your arms with along with your hips."

Sirius burst out laughing. "I don't think I can do that."

"Why not?" Harmony wiggled those hips all the way over to Sirius. "I think you can."

"But it's so purely Harmony that I don't think anyone else can do it." Sirius countered, his eyes betraying all of his suppressed laughter.

"It's not difficult, love." Harmony placed her hands on his hips, ignoring the fact that he didn't have a shirt on and his v-line was drool-worthy, and moved them side to side.

Sirius snorted and started moving his hips by himself. Harmony reluctantly removed her hands. "Then you gotta-" Harmony moved her shoulders and hands, "-like move your body."

The pair stood wiggling until Harmony stopped to inspect Sirius' dancing. She crossed her legs and bit her lip to refrain from laughing.

"Sirius Black is in my bedroom doing The Hip Wiggle at one o'clock in the morning with nothing on but a pair of pyjama pants decorated with coffee cups." Harmony said out loud, more to herself than anything.

Sirius ruffled his hair with a good-natured smile on his face, and took a couple steps closer to Harmony. "Sirius Black is also feeling pretty happy right now."

"Did I cheer him up?" Harmony asked, a smile playing on her lips as she looked up at him from under her dark eyelashes.

"Yeah, you did. He's feeling pretty great." Sirius ran a single finger down her cheek, then her jaw before he placed both his hands on her lower back.

"That's good to hear. I tried my best." Harmony whispered, letting her wrists rest on his broad shoulders. She looked up at him and grinned mischievously internally as his eyes focused on her lips. It might have been an accident that she held her bottom lip between her white teeth. Actually, it was no accident.

"Harmony Sea, I can't kiss you like I really want to while your parents are just down the hall." Sirius groaned, ripping his gaze away from her mouth to her bright eyes.

Harmony took a step closer to Sirius, enough that their stomachs were touching. She leaned up, up, up...and sighed. "What a shame."

She started to pull back, a grin on her face, but suddenly felt Sirius' hands press her back into the wall of her room. "What a tease." He muttered.

"Well didn't this go from a laughing environment to shoving against walls-" Harmony was cut off as Sirius' lips crashed down onto hers.

Their lips moved together, and Sirius had Harmony around the waist with one arm and another encasing them with his palm against the wall.

They broke apart to catch their breath, but only for a moment. Harmony grabbed his chin and put a palm against his hard chest while leaning in to kiss him again.

Sirius pulled his mouth away from Harmony's to go down to her neck. There, he kissed the skin under her jaw down to her collarbone, and she made sure to glide her hips across his as she stood up straighter. Harmony's stomach was still doing flips and lurches as she guided his soft lips back to her own

That familiar feeling of being drifted away from everything else except Sirius started to take over Harmony's entire being. It was like being drunk on firewhiskey, but ultimately better.

She smiled while kissing Sirius before she bit his lip gently. He grinned and tugged on the back of her thighs.

Suddenly, Harmony found herself with her legs wrapped around Sirius' middle while he kissed her intensely. The wall was half supporting her, Sirius' arms doing to other half. Harmony felt Sirius' tongue trail along her bottom lip, barely aware of her long sweatshirt riding up her thighs.

Then Sirius was blindly walking towards the bed

She stiffened and broke the kiss. "Sirius-"

"Don't worry. Not tonight." He whispered, looking into her eyes. "We won't."

She relaxed again, and let him sink them both down onto the mattress, their lips pressed together.

She was still in his arms, wrapped around Sirius, as his back hit the covers. Harmony made sure to move her hips against his as she straightened out her legs and rolled under him.

They snogged for a couple more minutes, until Harmony broke away from him, panting slightly. "What time is it?"

Sirius opened his eyes and rolled off her, but not before running his hand across her warm cheek. "Like one, maybe."

"We should sleep." Harmony said reluctantly. "My family is a family of early risers."

Sirius grinned while rubbing his thumb across her slightly swollen lips. "We should sleep," he agreed.

Neither of them moved an inch.

"You know it drives me mad when you do that." Harmony grumbled breathlessly, closing her eyes. "Why must you do that to me?"

"Sorry, love." Sirius moved his hands away from her, smiling.

"No." Harmony grabbed them back, and held them with her own hands. "Can't you just sleep here?"

"And have your parents find us? I would like to live a bit longer."

"True. Besides, I'm wearing nothing but a long jumper and underclothing and you don't even have a shirt on. Not that I'm complaining." Harmony got up, Sirius following her lead.

"Well that was a nice way to sum up my day." Sirius commented, his fingers brushing the soft skin on Harmony's leg. "I can't seem to stop touching you."

Harmony grabbed him by shoulders and kissed him quickly. "You're forgiven."

"You have cute knickers, by the way." Sirius chuckled as Harmony ran her hand through is hair.

"Excuse me, but they are the comfiest pair I own. Even if they're covered in strawberries." Harmony flushed furiously.

"I think you wear them well." Sirius said in a hushed tone, his hands sliding down the curve of her hips.

"Fuck, Sirius." Harmony groaned in distress as Sirius made circles with his fingers lightly on the bare skin above her knee. "Just get out of here before we're caught, because my self control is being put to the limit here." Harmony tucked her hair behind her ear, pulling away from him more than reluctantly, not without biting her lip. This time it was accidental.

He walked up, grabbed her bottom lip, and put it back into place. "Are you trying to do this to me?"

"No, I'm sorry!" She giggled lightly, placing her hands over over her bright red face, so just her eyes were exposed.

"All right. I'll see you in the morning, Harms." Sirius reached for the door after quickly taking down the enchantments and stopping the music.

"Wait," Harmony said quietly, reaching out to catch his arm.

"Yeah?" He turned back around.

"Why...why not tonight? What made you know?" Harmony wondered, her face flushing slightly. But she just had to know.

Sirius walked back over and kissed her forehead for a long moment. "Because you're not ready for it, and I would know if you were."

"But what if I was?

"Then I would definitely know." Sirius said. "Am I right?"

Harmony smiled, thankful that she ended up with someone who really understood her. "Yeah."

"Okay, I'll see you in the morning." Sirius gave her one of those half smiles she absolutely loved, and disappeared back into his own room.

For a moment her body yelled at her for not shagging him, but then it reminded her that she didn't want it right then, and she was also scared out of her wits at the prospect of it. Not to mention that she had made some serious promises to herself that she kinda wanted to keep for a bit longer.

Harmony shook her head, smiled and leaned against the door. She surveyed the room and was surprised to see how suddenly lived in it looked. The Christmas lights were still on, the covers on the bed all messed up, a pillow on the floor, clothes in the corner, and a stack of books knocked down. Harmony's lips still tingled from where Sirius had kissed them, and her whole body was on fire.

She unplugged the lights and flopped down on her bed, not bothering to cover herself in the covers because her body temperature was already abnormally hot. Which might have had something to do with the gorgeous boy who was just in there kissing her into another universe.

She sat there in the dark, smiling so widely, and realized something as she breathed in the faint wisps of Sirius' scent.

She had Sirius, her family, her friends, a house, and an education. Fuck everything else, because she still had so much that she loved in this life. Harmony wasn't about to go waste it moping around, stressing out, and fretting over things that were beyond her control.

So, her final thought before she fell asleep was, Fuck Voldemort, that stupid loner that has nothing to live for. I have everything to live for, and so I'll live for everything.

A/N- I HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN ABOUT YOU.

My life is insane right now. I don't even know what's going on half the time.

I'll admit I've had this chapter written for about a month and a half but I didn't have the time to post it. So here I am. Thank you guys for all the wonderful reviews, and one that really stood out to me was from NeverASingleDoubt (thanks so much, you're flawless!)

This chapter gave me hell. It got deleted about 7 times and it took me three full hours to get it back. I cried A little and swore a lot. This is what I go through for you guys; it's because I love you. So if the spacing at the beginning of the paragraph is uneven or there is no punctuation at the end of a paragraph, I am sorry. I'm beyond done with technology because it's screwed up. (I have written every letter of this story on an iPhone 4. Don't ever do it. Waste of time, eight times the work, fifty times harder in general.)

Until next time, lovelies, if I don't collapse from exhaustion.
