WHAT IF ROBIN NEVER LEFT

CHAPTER THREE

A/N: I am changing how things happened after Robin and Jason broke up. This takes place in for not updating sooner but I have been working on other stories and kind of forgot about this one. I am not using a beta, so please forgive me if I make mistakes PLEASE READ AND REVIEW

Everyone waited for Alan to say something

Was Robin okay? Were the babies okay? All this ran through Jason's mind as he waited like everyone else but unlike everyone else the woman he loved was in there, he was waiting to find out if his family was okay. He was done being angry because she told AJ about Michael being his son. He almost lost her today permanently, she could have died and from what Emily said she would have without Emily diving into the water to save her.

Alan started to speak, "Robin is okay."

Jason asked the next question shocking, almost everyone in the room, "Is the babies okay?"

"What babies?" Mac asked, could his niece be pregnant?

"Robin is pregnant with my twins." Jason told everyone. "Alan, are they okay?" Jason was concerned.

"They are fine Jason." Alan finally said not knowing what else to do.

"Why didn't she tell me she was pregnant?" Mac wondered aloud, hurt that she hadn't told him.

"Mac, Robin just found out today." Alan told his friend, hoping he was doing the right thing.

"Well, now, real Quartermaine heirs." Edward said, pleased. He loved that little girl. He had always had a fond place in his heart for Robin. Now she was going to give him great-grandchildren. He couldn't be more pleased.

"Alan, can I see Robin?" Jason asked, wanting to make sure she was alright. Wanting to see for himself that she was alright.

"Sure." Alan said glad he could give his son something; that the woman he loved and his children were alright. Alan hoped that they could work out their problems. "I'll take you back."

Alan showed Jason where Robin's room was and left him alone.

Meanwhile, back in the waiting room

Taggart got off the elevator and walked to where the commissioner was at. "Mac, I have some news." Mac and Taggart moved off to the side unknown to them Sonny moved so he can overhear them.

"Ms. Scorpio's car was sabotaged. The brake line was cut, but there is something else there was a bullet hole in one tire also. She lost control of the car. There was also another bullet in another one of the tires. The car has paint transfer, she was run off the road. Someone wanted her to go into the water very badly. They tried to kill her Mac."

Sonny heard all of this and decided to find Jason and Robin and inform them about what is going on.

Meanwhile, in Robin's room.

Jason opened the door and walked in. Robin glared at him. "What do you want, Jason?"

Jason was surprised by her glare and her cold tone of voice. "I wanted to make sure you were okay."

"What do you care? Oh, that's right the babies. We're fine you can leave now that you have done your duty." Robin was angry, she knew that someone was after her and having to deal with Jason right now after what he said to her hurt.

"Robin, it's not a duty that brought me here. I was really worried about you not just the babies." Jason wanted to tell her that he loved her, but he wasn't sure how to do that now.

"Like I believe that. Did you or did you not tell me that you never wanted to see my face again? That you didn't love me anymore? Who said that? Oh, that's right that was you so you can see my dilemma in believing, that you care about what happens to me and not just the babies." She was being honest, she truly believed he didn't care about her anymore.

"I was hurt that you told AJ the truth, I was lashing out at you, not telling you the truth." He told a surprised Robin.

"What are you saying, Jason?" She wondered what he meant.

"I lied to you Robin, I do still love you." Jason admitted to her.

Robin stared at him in disbelief. "I don't believe it, you are just saying that because I'm pregnant that is the only reason you are saying this now."

"NO! Robin I am saying it because it is true, I do still love you."

"I don't believe that Jason. How could you treat me like I had the plague this last month and a half and still love me? How could you say those things to me if you still loved me?" Robin said in disbelief, she was angry now, but didn't let it show.

"I was mad Robin that you told AJ about Michael. You had no right to do that." Jason was angry just thinking about what Robin had done and she saw this.

That is why I don't believe you, you are still angry about Michael and what I did, when you can understand why I did it maybe I will believe that you love me, but I won't hold my breath." She said sadly.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Jason wanted to know.

"That means I don't think you will ever understand. You don't know what it is like growing up thinking your parents are not who you thought they were and finding out that who you thought was your parents weren't your parents. I didn't want that for Michael, him not knowing who his parents are. I also didn't want Carly to manipulate you using Michael anymore. She said you were her puppet and she was right, you were her puppet. I told you what she would do and she did it and you still defend her. You are not the man I fell in love with and I don't believe you still love me, you can't and put me through what you have the last two months or more. I just with I would have realized that sooner."

"Robin, I do still love you. You are my heart." Jason told her, trying to convince her.

"Nice words, I just don't believe them after the last two months and what you did. You chose Carly over me and then got mad and told me that it would be easier if you never saw my face again after I told AJ the truth. Even today when I came to tell you I was pregnant, you even after you treated me as if I had the plague the last month and a half you again told me you didn't want to see my face again and that you didn't love me anymore. Now you expect me to believe you do because I told you I am pregnant with twins, your twins. How do you expect me to believe you?"

"I'm telling you the truth, Robin."

"What do you know about the truth? You lied to everyone for the last year about being Michael's father and had me lie to everyone that I knew. That's not love Jason, that's just plain wrong. If the last months are what loving you is like I don't want to. If that is your idea of love, then I don't want it."

"What do you want Robin?" Jason was flustered.

"I want someone who will put me first for a change, you never did, and I want to mean more than being a duty for someone and an obligation that was holding you back from being with your "fake family."

"You were my real family and you weren't an obligation, I love you."

"That's just it, I don't believe you, actions speak louder than words and your words, your actions prove to me that you don't love me, you just want the babies that I am carrying, not me. I won't be anyone's obligation or duty again. I will be number one in someone's life, not the last."

"Robin, I don't know how to make you understand and believe me that I do love you and not just the babies we made out of love."

"You can't too much has been said and done for me to believe you."

Jason was devastated and for a minute Robin thought he may be telling the truth, then she remembered how he treated her and what he said to her just a little while ago outside his penthouse.

"I will prove to you, that you are what I want, that you are the number one priority to me. I will be here for you and for them. I do love you Robin, I swear I do." Jason didn't know how he was going to convince Robin but he had to his heart was on the line.

Just then Sonny poked his head in the room and told them, "We need to talk about what happened."
