Hello fanfictioners, sorry for such the long update being a high school junior is extremely harder than thought but that's not a good enough reason, so just trying to say sorry so here's my new chapter.

PPOV:

I'm searching through TV with nothing to watch when President Snow appears on the TV with Quarter Quell as the headline.

I guess he's about to announce the 75th hunger games.

"I hear by announce that for the 3rd Quarter Quell the tributes shall be reaped from the existing pool of victors." Says President Snow. He says more but I can't here anything because of the shock i'm in, this will mean that Katniss has to go back into the hunger games.

Just as I think this I see Katniss run or her house and towards the woods but I don't try and follow her because I know she is going to need her space but I do go to Haymitch's house.

As I walk in I see broken glass and a pissed of Haymitch.

"I'm going to guess you saw the announcement."

"Hell ya I did, can you believe him. Now we have to do this shit all over! AHHHHH!" He tells as he flips a table over breaking things that were on it.

"Ya me too, thats the reason i came over to make sure that you save Katniss again." I say in a serious matter.

"Didn't you try to save her in the last games, also you know she's going to come over and ask me to save you since you tried to save her in the last games."

"Ya, but without her I have nothing else to live for so your going to have to save her."

"You got a whole lot of love for that girl, you better hope she doesn't come and kick your ass for trying to save her again because you to can be stubborn as hell when you both want to be."

"Ya, I don't care save her not me"

"And what if my name gets called"

"I'll volunteer" I say as a matter of fact like.

"No the hell you won't!" He yells at me "I'll let you save the girl but when it comes down to me and you i'm going to take the blow not you, my job is to protect you and that's what i'm going to do!"

Right now I have on a silly grin because if I read in between the lines of what Haymitch just said then he said that he cares about me.

"What are you smiling at, boy?" He asks now that his temper has went down some.

"I'm just glad to know that you care."

"Oh don't go soft on me boy."

"Right, back to the matter at hand, save Katniss not me,okay."

"I'll try."

"That's all I ask, thanks, see you soon Haymitch." I say as I leave his house.

Almost an hour or so later I see Katniss come back to the village with a look of determination on her face as she walks into Haymitch's house and I know this won't be an easy battle to win between me and her.

All I see is Katniss walk up to Haymitch, also that he has had a drink or 2, and ask him a question or something of the sort he gives her an answer and she looks over to my house and I know she can see me, she has a look of sadness and anger and I know what she's thinking also.

Only one of us is going to come out this time and it's going to be one of us. I just hope it's her.
