Okay! See, I didn't lie! I'm still trying to update them all.

I can do it… Probably… Maybe…

Oh, fudge, I haven't updated this since April.

happy January 1st. Or 2nd, depending on when you read this. Heck you could be reading this closer to the end of the year. Anyway, I'm waiting for my hoverboard. We were promised flying cars for 2015, weren't we?

I'm pretty much gonna be putting these on all my fics now, if you haven't already, you could do me a huge favor and check out my YouTube channels. One is my own where I post vlogs and song covers and stuff, then the IMPORTANT one is the channel I share with my best friend where we post vlogs, sketch comedies, gaming videos, a big variety of stuff. Search for us, the channel's called YinYang224.

So yeah! I hope you're not sick of me.

"Well, that was a bust." Grem shoved his hands into his pockets.

"Where is she if she isn't in the hospital?" Acer wondered aloud, glancing around the desert town.

"Maybe we should check? They could be hiding her in there." Grem suggested.

"I mean… Maybe. I kinda doubt it." Acer shrugged.

"Can't ask around; people'll get suspicious." Grem pointed out.

"Well, let's sneak in through a window, then. Hide a gun in your pants."

"I hope you actually mean gun this time, not any explosives." Grem raised an eyebrow.

"Wha-a-a-at? No… Not at all." Acer chuckled nervously.

"Give it." Grem held his hand out, Acer hung his head in shame. He placed a grenade into his cousin's outstretched hand.

"Right, then." Grem pocketed the grenade. "Let's go."

"Bloody hell, Finn, pick up!" Siddeley was pacing around Becca's kitchen with his phone to his ear.

"What is it, Sid?" Finn asked on the other end.

"Finally!" Siddeley breathed out, exasperated. "Finn, it's Becca."

"What about her? What happened?" Finn asked.

"Her temperature is rising like a high-speed elevator to the moon." Siddeley ran his hand through his hair, stopping in the middle of the motion to hold his messy hair.

"To the—? Never mind. Alright, just… Stay calm, give her whatever she needs. If you need to, get her to the hospital. We're going as fast as we can."

"Shh!" Grem whispered. "We don't wanna get caught, remember?" He rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm not stupid!"

"Maybe someday I'll believe that…" Grem frowned.

Acer crossed his arms.

"Now, where would she be…?" Grem wondered aloud. "Any ideas?" He turned back towards Acer.

"Not really, no." He turned his attention to a map on the wall. "She should be in either this wing or the one next door if she is. This isn't a very big hospital, but tell you what, it's pretty organized." He shoved his hands into his coat pockets.

Without the two noticing, a doctor had walked up behind them, and was about to question their presence when Acer turned around. "Ah… Grem?" He asked.

"What are you doing here?" The official-looking person asked.

"Uh…" Grem frantically tried coming up with a cover story.

His mind went blank.

"Listen, buddy, you can't b—"

Acer appeared horrified by the doctor. "Buddy?!" He stumbled back, and pulled something out of his coat, still a terrified expression on his face.

Grem's eyes widened. "Ace, DON'T—!"

"Okay… Okay. I'll just take her to the hospital, no big deal… She was there earlier, I can take her back… Come on, Sid, come on…"

Siddeley turned around to see Lightning. "Is she doing okay?"

Siddeley's frown deepened. "Uh…"

"What happened?" Lightning asked, hurrying over to his sister's bedroom.

"She, uh… We should probably get her back to the hospital…" Siddeley pathetically explained.

"Holy crap!" Lightning exclaimed after placing his hand on Becca's forehead. "You think?"

There was a sudden boom, rumble, then silence.

"…the bloody hell was that?" Siddeley asked, making his way outside, Lightning in close pursuit.

Lightning cursed in surprise. Other townsfolk were coming out onto the street to find the source of the disturbance.

A large chunk of the hospital was missing, smoking, some of the ruin on fire.

Siddeley cursed as well, agreeing with Lightning.

Everyone's heads turned down the opposite side of the street when fire engine sirens echoed down the street. Red and a few other firemen and woman that had joined him over the years were heading to the hospital to help in any way they could.

"…well that doesn't happen every day." Siddeley finally said.

"No, not really…" Lightning agreed. "W-what do we do, now?"

"We need to get a doctor to come here." Siddeley replied.

"Fudge… Have you heard from Finn and Holley recently?"

"Yeah. They're… They're getting close. But you know… I really don't think a doctor is going to help her right now…"

Lightning didn't like that answer, but nodded. Siddeley was right.

I'm sorry it's so short. I promise I'd make it longer, but I ended up working on this really late and I'm gonna post the next chapter hopefully tomorrow so just hang tight… Yeah.

I wonder if anyone understood why Acer got so spooked…:3
