Eddie's pov
"Loren, don't be stupid! It could be dangerous out there!" She doesn't respond, she waves her middle finger at me instead. Why does this girl have to be so damn stubborn. Now I have to follow her to make sure nothing happens to her while I'm exhausted. "Babe, where are you going?" I sigh, "I'm going to make sure nothing happens to her." Chloe pouts, "But why? She's just a loser." "It could be dangerous out there. And unlike you I care about other people too." "Are you suggesting that I only care about myself?" "Yes. I'm gonna go now." "Well, I'm not going with you." I sigh, "Do whatever you want." I really don't want to fight but sometimes she can be so selfish. I walk into the jungle or woods, whatever I should call it and after a while I can finally see Loren walking in front of me. The only problem is that she saw me too so she starts walking faster. I try to catch up but she's too fast. The woods get lighter and lighter until we're at the beach again but this time on the other side of the island. There's another island close to this one but you have to swim to get there. Loren will stop here right? Apparently not because she gets out of her clothes and jumps into the ocean. If I want to catch up I can't take the time to get out of my clothes so I just jump into the water. I try to swim faster than Loren but apparently she's a good swimmer. When I finally reach her, we're on the other island. She tries to run away but I grab her arm just in time. She immediately jumps away from my touch.
Loren's only wearing her bikini and it's distracting as hell. "Why did you follow me Eddie." "Because it could be dangerous." "So? Why do you care?" There's that question again. The one I don't know the answer to. I try not to stare at her breasts but it's hard. "I wouldn't want you to get hurt." "Why not? You know what, I don't care. Just let me be alone for a while please. I've got to think." "About what?" "Hmm...let me think. Oh wait, WE'RE STUCK ON AN ISLAND!" "THAT'S NOT MY FAULT! I ONLY TRIED TO HELP YOU!" She looks down, realising that I'm right. "You're right. Thanks for saving me Eddie." "You're welcome." Loren sighs, "This is all Chloe's fault." I'm confused, "What?" "That we're stuck here. She's the one who pushed me off the boat." I stay silent. She sighs, "I know, she's your girlfriend so you can't talk bad about her." I lie, "There's nothing bad to say about her." She laughs at me. "Are you kidding me? She's a bitch!" I get angry, "No, she's not!" "You're crazy. Of course she is." "That's enough! I'm going back!" "Finally!", she screams back.
Nora's pov
Melissa and I are at the harbour. Max Duran and Jackie Carter are here too. I wonder why. The police walks over to us. "We found out that the boat for emergencies is missing. It was there last night." "So what does that mean? Where the hell is my son?!", Max asks irritated. Melissa looks shocked, "Wait, is Eddie missing too?" Max sighs, "Yes, Eddie and Chloe both." "Oh, I don't care where Chloe is.", Melissa blundly states. I'm shocked, "Melissa!" "What? She's a bitch.", Melissa says. "Okay. So our guess is that they fell overboard and took the boat for emergencies. Somehow the rope got loose and they're probably drifting on the ocean right now.", the police tell us. "So are you going to look for them?", I ask. "It will probably take a few days to get the equipment ready.", the police say. "But that could be too late!", I say. "We're sorry Mrs."
Eddie's pov
It became really dark but Loren's still not back. I have searched for some wood and made a fire. Believe me, it's not as easy as it looks in the movies. I'm lucky that my dad taught me when I was young. "Loren's still not back.", I say, worried, to Chloe. "So what, I don't care what happens to her." "Obviously but I do." "Why? Why would you care about someone as pathetic as her?" "She's not as pathetic as you make her out to be.", I say and stand up. "Are you really going to look for her again?" "Yes.", I state a little bit irritated. I look back into the woods and find out that they're really creepy at night. I just hope Loren's okay. I find out that she is when I see her sitting at the beach. "Loren, what are you still doing here?!" "Why aren't you with Chloe?", she asks. "Because you didn't come back!", I almost yell. "Because I didn't feel like being in Chloe's presence." "I know you don't like Chloe but she's still my girlfriend." We both stay quiet. "I managed to catch some fish but I don't know how to make a fire.", Loren says. I'm amazed, "How did you do that?" "I used a branch to make a spear." "Well, I've got a fire.", I say. "That's great but I would rather not share with Chloe." "Really Loren. You're acting like her right now." "You're right. Wouldn't want to stoop to her level."
We walk back to the fire and find out that Chloe's already asleep. I sit down and Loren sits down on the other side. So I stand back up and sit down next to her. "So, what's your story?" "Why do you care?" "Well, I'd like to know something about you." She pierces the fish onto a few branches and holds them above the fire. "You never wanted to know anything about me before. So why now?" I raise my eyebrows at her. "Because we're stuck on an island together Loren. Whether you like it or not." "Well, there's not much to tell." "Tell me about your family." "My mom's amazing. She always knows how to make you feel better. No matter what situation you're in. If she was here right now it would feel like we're on vacation. You probably don't know who Melissa is. She's in our class too. Well, she's my best friend but she's actually more like a sister to me." "Yeah, Ian's like a brother to me too." "How about your parents?" "My dad is great. My mother died of cancer." She places a hand on my shoulder and by the look on her face she's just as suprised that she touched me as I am,"Oh Eddie, I'm sorry." "It's okay. You didn't mention your dad." I'm cautious with my next question, "Did he also die?" If I'm not mistaken, that's fear in her eyes. Like real fear. "Ehm no, he's alive." "What happened?" She quickly turns her head in my direction, "Nothing! Why would you think something happened?" I decide to let this subject go, "No reason." Maybe she'll tell me some time.
Nora's pov
Ever since we had the talk about the police, Max and I have been keeping each other company. I'm grateful because without his company, I would go crazy. I just left his house and now I'm walking into mine. Trent's sitting on the couch and when he sees me, he stands up. "What are you doing here Trent?", I ask annoyed. "You can't just divorce me Nora." "Yes I can. You cheated on me. And I'm betting it wasn't this one time." "Yes it was." "DON'T. Lie to me!" "It has been going on for a long time.", he admits. "I knew it." "Where's Loren? I have to see her.", he says. "She's missing. Remember?!" "I-", Trent starts but I don't let him finish. "Just go away Trent. I don't need you anymore and neither does Loren." Then he finally walks out of the house.
Eddie's pov
I open my eyes and see that Loren is gone...again. Chloe's still asleep so I walk into the woods. After walking for about 5 minutes I see this beautiful blue lagoon. And what I see in the lagoon is even more beautiful. Loren's washing herself...naked. She's standing underneath the waterfall and sometimes she turns around, revealing her breasts. I know that I should turn around but I can't get myself to look away. After a while, Loren walks out of the water, revealing her ass. Now I turn around because if I keep watching Loren's right calling me a douchebag. When I'm sure that she's clothed I turn back around and walk up to her. "Hey." Loren jumps a little. "Jeez Eddie! You scared the crap out of me! How long have you been here?" I decide to lie, "Not long." She looks relieved, "Good." I walk closer to her and try to place my hand on her cheek, I can't help myself. She looks scared by my sudden movement so I slowly move my hand closer to her cheek. When I see that she relaxes a little, I cup it. She's looking at me with wide eyes. She still looks a little scared. What is she afraid of? I slowly cup her other cheek too and then I slowly move my lips closer to her. When she doesn't pull back I kiss her.
I decide to take this really slow since Loren's obviously afraid of something regarding physical contact. I'm suprised that she even lets me kiss her. Not only because of the contact but because of the fact that it seemed like she hated me. After about a minute of slowly kissing her, she pulls back. "It's weird, I thought you were a bad kisser.", she admits. I raise my eyebrows, suprised, "Why would you think that?" "Because when you kiss Chloe it looks totally gross." I smirk, "Does it now? So I should stop kissing you then?" She gives me a small smile and then hestitantly moves closer to my lips. I let her take her time. She softly kisses me. I kiss her back and when I feel that she's comfortable with it, I slowly open my mouth and move my tongue towards her mouth.
I can feel that she's tempted to pull back but she allows me to push my tongue into her mouth instead. After a while I let my hand trails down to her breast, totally forgetting about her being afraid. As soon as I touch her beast she pushes me off her with all the strength she has. I fall onto the ground and she takes a few steps back. She looks terrified. I stand back up but this only has as result that she takes another step back. "Loren, it's okay. I'm not going to hurt you." "I'm sorry.", Loren is on the verge of crying. I don't try to walk any closer to her. But it's harder comforting her from a distance. "Hey Lo. It's okay. Come on, let's go back to the beach." She nods but keeps her distance while we walk back.
When we get back Chloe pulls me into a slobby kiss and I realise that Loren's a way better kisser. After a while she finally pulls back. "Hey babe!" "Hi." "Where were you?" "I was just taking a walk." "Oh, okay." I would tell Chloe about the lagoon so that she can wash herself but it would just end up with us having sex and I don't feel like it right now. "Okay, I don't know what you guys are going to do today but I'm gonna make sure we've got a shelter.", Loren says and she looks like she composed herself. "I'll help you.", I say. We both look at Chloe. "I think I'm gonna find something to brush my hair with.", Chloe says. "Sure, that seems like an important thing to do.", Loren says sarcastic. Chloe walks into the woods and I doubt she's gonna make it very far. Loren starts collecting all kinds of stuff and when she bends, her ass looks amazing in her shorts. I walk up to her and place my hands on her shoulders but she immediately shakes them off and takes a step back. "Loren, I'm sorry I scared you." She turns around. "It wasn't you Eddie. You couldn't have known." That makes me confused. "What are you talking about?"
