Loren's pov
I walk to the beach on the other side of the woods and get into the ocean after throwing my clothes on the beach. So now I'm swimming naked in the ocean and it feels nice. I was trying to feel the bottom of the ocean with my toes when I suddenly saw someone standing on the other island. It's a male but it isn't Eddie. I don't know if I should go to him or not. I start swimming closer to him. "Hello?", the man says slightly raising his voice so that I can hear him. "Ehm...hi.", I say. I'm now so close to the island that I'm at the point where I can stand. I stand up but because of the shock of meeting someone else here, I totally forget I'm naked. But when I see the look in his face I realise the mistake I made and quickly jump back into the water. I bury my face in my hands, "Crap! I'm sorry! I forgot I wasn't wearing any clothes!" "It's okay.", he says. I remove my hands from my face and carefully look at him. "I'm just gonna swim back to the other island and get my clothes. I'll be right back, okay?" He chuckles, "That's fine."
I quickly swim to the bigger island and walk onto the beach. I put on my bikini and then swim back to this stranger. When I get out of the water I take a look at his appearence. He looks quite good. He's wearing ripped jeans which are about the same length as Eddie's swimming trunks and he's not wearing a shirt so I'm able to see his abs. His skin is a little bit tan from the sun and his hair is dark. He sticks out his hand for me to shake it but I take a step back. He looks suprised by it but doesn't mention it. "Hi, I'm Tyler." "I'm Loren." Did I mention that I'm completely uncomfortable right now? Not only do I not know him but this stranger also saw me naked. "So, what is such a beautiful lady doing on this island?" "I'm kinda stranded.", I say. "How come?" "I was at this party. It was on a boat and some bitch pushed me off of it." "So you're all on your own now?", he asks while raising his eyebrows. "No, I'm with a boy and the girl who pushed me off the boat." "Is the boy your boyfriend?", he asks curious. "No, he's hers. Are you stranded too?" "No, I chose to live here. It's here beautiful and I'm able to survive here." I frown, "I get that it's beautiful here but why would you want to live here? Don't you have family?" "I don't. I was a foster kid." "How about a girlfriend?" "Nope, there was nothing left for me in civilization. I loved to sail so one day when I came by this island, I decided that I wanted to live her. I love the peace here." "Okay, I guess I can understand that. You never have to worry about anything. You don't have to worry about popularity or money or a job. Must have something relaxing to it." "Yeah, that's pretty much it. Anyway, I was about to go for a swim when I met you. You wanna join me?" "Yeah, sounds great.", I say.
After he changed into his trunks, we walked into the ocean. We talked about random things until Eddie suddenly interrupted by yelling at us from the biggest island. I sigh, irritated. "Loren! What are you doing?!" I look at Tyler and scrunch my nose. Then I swim towards Eddie. I get on the island and put my shorts on. Then I look at Eddie and say irritated, "What?" "Who is this?", Eddie says looking at Tyler. Tyler extends his hands and Eddie takes it. "I'm Tyler. Nice to meet you." "I'm Eddie. So you're stranded too?" "No, it's my choice to live here." "So Eddie, you done now?", I say still irritated. "No, I was also wondering who was gonna make dinner tonight." "I don't really care.", I say. "You guys are welcome to eat with me.", Tyler suggests. "No thanks, I'll handle it.", Eddie says and I sigh. He's such a baby. Then I turn to Tyler and smile, "I'd love to join you Tyler."
Eddie's pov
When I woke up, Loren wasn't laying next to me anymore. I'm guessing she's at the lagoon. I try to walk into the woods but Chloe blocks my way and starts kissing me. I kiss her back but after a little while I pull back and continue my way to the lagoon. When I find out that Loren isn't there, I decide to check the other beach. I see Loren's clothes laying there and look around. Then I notice Loren swimming with some guy. It suprises me because I thought that we were the only people here. "Loren! What are you doing?!" She turns her head to the guy and then they swim over to me. They get out and Loren puts on her shorts. The guy introduces himself as Tyler and asks us to dinner. I don't want to because it would mean Loren spending more time with him. I have to admit that the thought of that makes me jealous. I don't want her to hang out with other guys. "No thanks. I'll handle it." I hear Loren sigh and then agree to have dinner with him. It makes me incredibly angry but I try not to show it. I smile and then walk back to Chloe while thinking about Loren. That Tyler guy didn't look half bad. What if Loren falls for him. I don't expect her to fall for me but I don't want her falling for someone else either.
Loren's pov
Tyler made a really tasty dinner and I like spending time with him. He's nothing like Eddie. Eddie only cares about one thing and that is sex. Tyler has seen me naked and still didn't try anything yet. Only proves how right I was about Eddie. He's a douchebag. "So, you must miss your family?" "Yeah I do. They're the best. My mom's just great and my best friend, she can be a little weird but I love her." I let it be quiet for a few seconds and then continue, "Do you think that they will be able to find us?" "If they try hard enough, they will. And to get someone as amazing as you back they must be trying pretty damn hard. I smile at him, "Thanks. That's sweet." It really is sweet. Eddie never tells me things like that. The only things that come out of his mouth are to get me into bed with him. Okay, maybe that's not completely true. He did help me that one time when I had my nightmare. But after that he told me that he wanted to fuck me so I don't know if it really counts. I have to forget about him anyway because he has a girlfriend and he is an ass.
I wake up and see leafs above my head. I look beside me and see Tyer laying there. I back a little away from him and then sit up. While doing that, I accidentally wake him up. "Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you up." He chuckles, "It's okay. I don't mind waking up to a beautiful face." I smile, "So, what's the plan for today?" "I don't know.", he responds. I frown, "What do you usually do here? Don't you ever get bored?" "Not really. I always find things to do." "So you must have been to the lagoon right?", I ask him assuming that he has. He looks puzzled, "The lagoon?" I reply shocked, "Are you serious right now? How long have you been living here?" "I don't know. A few years I guess." "And you have never been to the lagoon? That's a shame. Come on." We walk to the beach and into the water. I shiver at the touch of the cold water. I swim to the other island and put on my top. When we reach the lagoon, Tyler gasps. "This really is beautiful. I can't believe that I've never been here before." "No, I can't either.", I tease. "Oh shut up.", he teases back. I smile, "Make me." He smirks at me and then throws me into the water. When I come up again, he is still smirking. "I can't believe you just did that!", I exclaim shocked. Then I walk closer to him and pull him into the water. "It's on Tate." And that's how the water battle begun.
Eddie's pov
I wake up and see Chloe laying next to me instead of Loren. I'm in Chloe's shelter because Loren didn't come back last night. I wonder if she's alright. I mean, how can we trust him? We have only known the guy for about a day and he says that he chose to live here? Who would choose to live on a deserted island? I decide to go look for her. When I pass the lagoon, I see them fooling around. "Hey.", I say. They stop splashing water and both turn their heads to look at me. "Hey man.", Tyler says. They walk out of the lagoon and Tyler starts walking away. "Loren, I'm gonna go look for some food. I'll see you later okay?" Loren starts walking back to our sort of camp I guess? I follow her. "So did you have sex with him?" I didn't mean to ask her that. It just came out before I knew it. "That's not any of your buisness.", she replies. "Did you?" "Why do you care?" "I don't know. I just do.", I say and I really don't know why I want to know so badly. "So?", I say. "So what?" "So did you have sex with him?" "What if I did?", she says. "I'd have to kill him.", I say. She laughs, "Yeah right." "So did you?", I ask again and even I think that I'm annoying. "Eddie! Mind your own fucking buisness!", she snaps at me. We arrive at the beach but I can't stop wondering if she slept with him. After checking if Chloe's at the beach, I push Loren behind a tree and I put my arms on her waist. She immediately pushes me off, startled by my sudden touch. I can see in her eyes that she's scared. "Hey Lo. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you.", I say. Damnit Eddie, nice move.
She still looks scared as hell. I don't try to come any closer. ""Hey Lo. It's okay. It's just me." She looks up at me and looks a little less scared now. She still hasn't told me what happened to make her so scared. I wish she would because maybe I could help her. "I'm sorry.", I say once again. She looks at me, "So what did you want to do? Kiss me again? Because I wouldn't have kissed you back you know." "Why not?", I ask her. "Because I don't care about you.", she responds. Ouch, that hurts a little. "Why is it always about sex with you? Can't we just talk?", she adds. I look at her and frown, "Of course." I walk over to one of the trees that we layed down to sit on and sit down. Loren sits down next to me but makes sure that there's enough space between us. "So, what do you want to talk about?", I ask her. It makes me kind of uncomfortable to just talk with her. I know how to kiss but I don't know if I can talk to her and keep her interested in what I have to say. I look at her and see that she's completely relaxed by now. She chuckles, "I don't know. It doesn't really matter. How 'bout," It stays quiet for a few seconds while she frowns because she's thinking. "Our excursion last year to Venice.", she finishes her sentence. "Oh my gosh, that was great.", I say. Then I frown, "Wait..you were there too?" She gives me a look, "Yes Eddie. You see what I mean now by 'popular douchebag from school'?" I chuckle, "I kind of get your point now." It stays quiet for a few seconds but then I add, "Then I am kind of a douchebag." "Jup.", she says popping the 'p'. I give her a fake offended face, making her chuckle. "That excursion was pretty great though.", she says. "Melissa and I went there together. Melissa would photobomb every single picture she saw someone make. I even think that she's in some of yours.", she chuckles. I laugh, "Oh my gosh, really?" She laughs harder now, "Yes, I think so. Now that I think about it. I think that she totally photobombed most of Chloe's selfies. I remember that on one picture she made it look like she was about to kill Chloe. I can't really explain it but it looked really creepy. I laughed my ass off." By now Loren's laughing hard and I smile at the sound of it. I like hearing her laugh. It was a great idea to just talk with Loren. Better than just kissing her. I'm not saying that I would always choose talking above kissing but right now, getting to know Loren is probably the best thing to do because she's pretty damn amazing.
"I bet Chloe really liked that.", I now say sarcastic. "I don't know.", she says. "I was actually planning on recording her reaction but then I got distracted by this guy who decided to take a swim in the water.", she adds and chuckles. "Right! I remember that!", I say. "He thought that he could take a swim. But there were so much gondola's in the water.", I add. She chuckles, "Yeah and he tried to avoid them but they were trying to avoid him too so he just had to keep swimming from side to side." "Yeah and he tried to get back on the side but he couldn't. So at one point Mrs. James jumped into the water and pulled him out." Loren chuckles again, "Remember how she looked when she came back out of the water?" "Yeah.", I say while smiling. "I can't believe that she actually wore a pink bra!", Loren exclaims. She's referring to the fact that Mrs. James' white shirt was so wet that everyone was able to see her pink bra. "It's actually kind of sad now that you think about it.", I say. "Yeah.", Loren says. "But for us too. A pink bra and Mrs. James just doesn't go together. And now every time we have her class, the image keeps flashing through my head!", Loren says. The last part she says exasperated making me chuckle. "But it is sad though. Every guy wouldn't stop whistling at her for weeks.", I say. She gives me a look, "Don't pretend to be so good. You were one of those guys." I smirk at her, "Yeah, I know." It stays silent for a few seconds but then I say, "You know. It's weird how much you noticed me but how I never noticed you."
